Quit calling yourself uncle Collin. You're not Shannon Sharpe is the only sports uncle
No
Tall Sean McVay with a big thick trunky coastal kid with a mid west ethos could be a deadly duo (only OG cowherd fans know that reference)
Explain ?
With a Midwest ethos
Love this reference. The fact that cowherd can’t just let the take die and admit he was dead wrong makes me happy
his descriptions be sus af he need someone to say pause on air 😂😂😂😂😂
JJ “police video” McCarthy
There are more mock drafts than there are players in the draft.
Can the nfl draft just happen already
It will
As a Vikings fan I agree. It'll be great or a big disappointment 😆 🤣 Edit: We are used to disappointment
I know right!!! Hahaha
Not only do they all have their own mock drafts, but each of them has to have several mock drafts...This way, they can't be too wrong.
It’s like Christmas
I hope the Chargers FLEECE the Vikings. GM this morning, “a fair trade is not a trade we are interested in”
lol 5th pic 😂that’s not happening Gonna laugh when chargers get less 😂
Dream on dude
@@IzthefaithfulQB tax they gonna get more plain and simple
Bears are not getting Verse over Odunze 🤣
Yes they are. There are no decent edge rushers in the later rounds
If odynze there he’s a bear
I think they trade back if they can. They only have 4 picks. They need some draft capital and trading back at 9 would give them that
@@barrybelknap3958they can also trade players for picks also. We still have $$ for trades after the draft if we only have 4picks
Why wouldn’t they
"Bo Nix doesn't move around a lot and has a lot of Drew Brees qualities". Now I've heard it all. Lol.
Fair takes, but 12 picks? Where's the rest? Don't be lazy Colin.
JJ McCarthy in the first 10 Picks is giving Tim Couch Vibes
the Vikings are stupid enough to trade up
OSU fan who is 0-3 against McCarthy, I presume???
@@GoatedAtNFS😂triggered
I get what you are saying, but that kid just seems to have “it”. He’s smart, tough, gritty, loves his team, and just gets it done. Michigan won a lot of games with him behind center. Don’t care about “he had elite talent all around him” - EVERY QB needs that. Not many plays on film, but when Michigan needed him, he delivered. I think he’ll end up being a good one.
I'm fairly positive you're 30+ for coming up with Couch reference haha...it's hitting that gen now. I'm 34 and that was first draft I ever watched
Rodgers getting Mike Williams and Rome Odunze .... Merry Christmas
Already has Garrett Wilson. Dumb pick. 3 stud WRs but a bad line and a 40year old QB. Also still paying Rodger's guy Lazard
Rome not getting past 9 with Chicago
Mike Williams will be hurt before Halloween
Mike Williams was a bad pick up because of how often he gets hurt. Some players tend to keep getting injured and I think he's one of those players.
@@believer7280 It's purely an upside play with Williams. That's why Rome makes so much sense since Mike is on a 1 year deal regardless of what happens
Bo Nix and Drew Brees in the same sentence is INSANE
Agreed. Even if you wanted to compare them in college. Brees at Purdue was incredible
@@travisosheatheyre comparing to play styles
@@treeinch252 yes I’m aware. It’s a horrible comparison
@@travisoshea you can't really compare until Bo plays in the NFL.
@@treeinch252 I’m comparing their play when they were both in college. It wasn’t the same. Bo Nix comp is not Brees either.
Why did he stop at 12 with the Broncos? He should have at least went to the 15th pick.
"Tall-ēse Fuanaga". Damn yeah!! I want this pick so badly. BTW Colin... I know that Shōgun is all the rage, but ... Tall-ee-ESS-ah Fu-AH-gah, PLEEZ.
So do the bengals
Bro we need bowers more than a Right tackle
The more surprising stat is that the Bears have never had a QB throw 30+ TDs in a season.
I like it. Bo Nix makes too much sense to work in Sean Payton's system. He's athletic. He works on time. He's good pre snap. He will fit right in, imo.

@@clintondavis36 Thank you 😄!
There’s no way the packers pick Nate Wiggins. He’s way too light for them. Especially with cooper Dejean on the board. That’s crazy
@@barrybelknap3958 we will see on Thursday!!
Cowboys fan and I don't think he falls to us but I will take that all day lol.... Kind of want to trade down to snag some picks but if he is there and we take him I am good with that.
I feel that Colin steals a lot from Joel Klatt 😂
Everyone does.
If your mock draft doesn’t resemble Klatts, you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Colin is a generalist. He's really not a guy who can do a realistic mock on his own.
Of course. Klatt is the best

Nice picks... best mock i seen so far
Jj mccarthy to the Vikings would be sensational
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He’s prefect for the Shannahan system
Drake Maye would be better after development

He likes always hurt James Connor lol
this is the same guy who said he loved Picket and hated Love at the start of last yr!!....go team proudfoot!!
His NFL takes are usually weak.
Murray is he’ll prove it this year 😂🔥🔥
3:57 3:57 3:57 3:57 3:58 3:58 3:58 he has one of the strongest arms in the last couple drafts if you look closely 😂😂😂
Pats should trade back accumulate picks and draft weapons, trade with Minny for both their 1st and draft offensive weapons. NE will draft in the Top 5 again next year plenty of solid QBs to choose from Shedeur,Riley,Beck,Ewers
Great takes 👏
As a chargers fan I’d say we take bowers if he’s available at 11 but the rest was really good
Man I hope we get Bo Nix
I think people are hating on Nix too much. I get he is older, but he has nice arm talent, gets rid of the ball quick, generally makes good decisions, and is more athletic than people realize. Nix in Denver is intriguing. This coming from a Bears fan.
I don't see anyone giving him enough credit for his athleticism, it's an underrated part of his game. JJ and Nix statistically were the most accurate QBs on the run and I don't hear that as much of a talking point.
Whats your team?
Huge Dux fan here, but first, a football fan. This past season, Bo needed one course for his Masters which he took online. He sat in every offensive coaches meeting. He was given the keys to the car, meaning he had the absolute OK to change any play at any time to anything else. He does not have Penix' arm, but he can drive the ball all over the field. He can make every throw. He doesn't scamper for fun, but he is absolutely looking and able and willing to take advantage of lanes left open and can extend plays. He makes great pre-snap and post-snap decisions. Not "generally", @j8k3d18. 95% of the time. He threw for 45 TDs against 3 INTs, two of which were tipped and one which lost the PAC12 Championship. He is Sean McVay's wet dream. I want it and, at the same time, would hate to see him in the AFC West.
Drafting Nix in the first round is a huge reach.
“Best young LT in football”… Andrew Thomas has entered the chat.
If Caleb played for usc while in the big10, he'd be a late 2nd round pick
Yep
I'm not sure why people keep saying Bo Nix is so coachable. At Auburn he had Guz Malzahn as HC for two seaons. He's the primary architect of the HUNH (hurry up no huddle) philosophy that he pairs with Air Raid aspects to create major disadvantages for the defense...& by extension...very quarterback friendly offenses. When Malzahn left to take the UCF job in 2021, Auburn hired Boise State's Bryan Harsin. He brought a offense with him that featured more NFL pro sets & required the QB to make more than single read decisions. Nix struggled to the point where he was benched for a while by Harsin, who he reportedly didn't get along with well, but more to the point, when the season ended he immediately bolted to Oregon in order to follow his former OC Kenny Dillingham who left when Harsin came in. On his way out the door he also described his one season in an offense that expected him to make more NFL type reads as "a nightmare". How is that coachable? He spent 4 of his 5 seasons in college with the same coach in the same system. At this point, nobody really knows if he is coachable.
The Commanders have a "shaky running game" with BRob and Ekeler??? Total BS
Great point about Daniels - been saying exactly this for months
Prove it
Kid will be a bust
Jayden also had two first round receivers there and a tight end who will be a top 50 pick next year .
Caleb Williams is more like Dak Prescott not Pat Mahomes.
Way more agility, mobility and pocket presence than Dak
Even as a MI fan, don’t see McCarthy becoming a franchise leader
He doesn't need to be at first. When the Vikings offense is loaded, he's not going to be asked to do too much early on. In college he was essentially a game manager. Vikings are a QB away from winning the division and back to the playoffs.
RODGERS WAS COOKED 3 YEARS AGO AND WILL BE SACKED 50 TIMES LOL
Hol up Hol up… They said the same thing about Tom Brady, who was a Mediocre/Solid QB from Mich entering the draft.
@@CoolerThanFanManne Brady got drafted in the 6th round, not the top 5 of the draft though
@@jeffwheeler1893 this
That chime is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoying. Please stop with that stupid chime.
If Brock Bowers is still on the board at 12 hopefully the Broncos can trade down with Indy or Cincy and still get Nix at their draft spot
very good take. only way they can trade down is if that (or something similar) is the case. it seems like they want him but 12 is too high when he might slip into the second round. after the zach wilson trade it seems even more unlikely, albeit i dont believe they traded a 6th round pick for zach and a 7th with much belief that zach is going to be a starter
Not a mock draft, a mock top 12... lazy click bait title. 😂
Why everyone trying to give the Vikings JJ McCarthy??? He is bad for NFL. What is his ceiling?? Kirk? Don't see it. Feels like Maxx Jones all over again
I usually think Colin has nothing but spray tan seeping through his brain But this is a mock draft I could actually see play out.
Pretty decent Mock Draft on reflection
Caleb Williams has great physical talent, but many NFL scouts saw red flags in his attitude. The crying in the stands with his mom when he lost, the messages on painted fingernails. One called him the "Prince of football." That was not a complement. Bust potential is huge.
I’m glad you at least picked thru #9 so I could see the first two Bears picks
Kirk getting so much hate but is soooo much better than most of the league. mccarthy is a 99% bust
They have a tall McVay is nasty work
Closest thing to Mahomes is crazy
When we are in "mock draft season" stuffs boring in sports 🤣
Bowers lasting through 12 is highly unlikely. Denver can trade back from 12 to get their 2nd rounder back with someone to come up for Bowers if this plays out.
I wish they would actually do anything over 12 ffs. Teams draft off of needs after this and that's what the actual talk should be.
I predict the Bears will finally have a qb and Giants finally a wr
Fuaga??? You really think he has a higher ceiling than Penei Sewell, the current best run blocking tackle in the NFL??
Yea he does
Come on vikings ❤
Did he just say Aaron jones was a top 5 back?
bears are not passing on odunze 😂
Better hope they do bears need to protect there brand newQB
Washington is gonna take Drake Maye with the 2nd pick
Colin has it for Ghost boy. Anyone playing behind Darnold is career suicide
If you know you can trade down Denver and still get Bo Nix, then do it, if not, then pull the trigger at 12. I also like drafting another QB, Tulane Michael Pratt, he too trained under the tutor of Drew Brees along with knowing the Sean Payton scrip
Was with you until Bo Nix at #12. I agree that he'd be good under Payton... but think Payton will either draft Penix at #12, or get Nix later in the draft... either by trading down to get him later in the 1st rd or trading up to get him at the top of the 2nd.
Youre not passing on Odunze for Turner. 😂 Allens on the back end of his career and is injured a LOT. Pair up Odunze and C Dub to grow togther in Chicago. 😊
McCarthy doesn’t have 1st round tape. First round picks should be slam dunks, not reaches. That would be a reach
Colin, about MHJ: “He would be the best Arizona WR since Hopkins…” 😂😂he’d be the best receiver they’ve had since last year😂😂
noticed this too, he’d made it sound like the cardinals had some bum wr’s recently even though they had hopkins and fitz 🤦♂️
Only 12 picks in this years first round? Don't do a mock draft if you can't do a complete round.
Colin destroys any qb who wears a backwards hat… but is completely fine when a qb wears dresses, paints his nails and wears lipstick.
Colin is very close on Denver's pick. Bo Nix is one of the top 3 QBs in this draft, and Sean Payton wants him. That said, Payton also likes Spencer Rattler. If Payton gets the right offer from another team, he could trade back, draft a top DE, and then take Rattler in round three. Tape this to yer fridge.
Not a bad take. I think Payton knows that Nix would be a stone cold killer in his system, with him at the wheel. The question is whether he will try and get him in the second.
HOW is this unlike your previous draft? Turner is not Anderson.
No way chargers don’t take Brock bowers if he falls , who is Herbert throwing to?
LOL. LSU was 10-3 with a team of stars but take a qb that is super small in frame and has a bad throwing motion as the 2nd pick?? The guy runs fast. Thats it.
6'4 185lbs is super small? He can easily gain 20 more lbs
Who’s the top 5 RB on the Vikings lol
Aaron jones good when healthy but he never is
What ever QB ends up in NE is going to have a rough go of it.
Probably will sit most of year one which I’m good with honestly, we need a lot to be competitive
Who’s the Vikings top 5 RB?
If Brock is there at 11 Chargers taking him. Hes the best player available
The Vikings aren't going to have to move up to number five to get JJ McCarthy Collin is way wrong on that pick
Darnold is terrible and the Vikings don't have the running game to set up play action... JJ will struggle in this offense ... bad pick
uhhhh...the vikings have a top 5 rb? wut
When healthy AJ absolutely is
People forget heo young JJ is, he can sit for a year and still be under 24 by the time he starts
pronounced Rome OH-DUNE-ZAY not OH-DONE-ZAY
Cant see Denver now taking a QB. Bet they take a vet and get another roster piece with their early pick
Love how he talks about Daniels 40 passing tds and 10 rushing and then gave examples of guys never known to run outside cam
It's not reaching if the player fits your team, coaching, scheme, etc.
Aw man, they cut the mock draft at pick 12. What about the Raiders at 13?
They suck
Caleb williams played in the PAC 12 and big 12 w/ the Sean mcvay of college football with top weapons up until last year. Anytime someone puts up crazy numbers with that context, I get suspicious of the “no shot he busts” label
LMFAO
I don't believe Da Bears don't have a 4000 yard passer ! Cutler had to have passed for 4000 yards when Trestman was Coach !
I hope the Vikings don’t trade up
Penix Jr to Broncos !
Williams =Bust
I still think 11, 23, and probably a future 1st/2nd is way too much to move up to 5. I get its QB but its not this crazy prospect
Jets need to protect the old man HAVE to get o line
Vikes need to draft quinyon Mitchell with the 11th pick or Byron Murphy and then draft Bo nix with the 23rd pick he’ll go bananas in kocs offense with the weapons they have skoll!!!💜💛💜💛🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
Rather have penix
It's a silly position to take saying Minnesota acquired a second pick was to get a QB when they did not pursue the trade it was offered. Even worse is thinking Mccarthy is worth that! Minnesota stays at 11.
2007 Tebow had 32 passing TD’s and 23 rushing TD’s. But he was a bad QB you said
Minnesota has a top 5 RB???
Shaky RBs? Ekeler and BRob? Really?
What round will chargers draft Blake Corum ? Second
Bears need to draft OFFENSE with their top 2 picks
I pray the Patriots take JJ McCarthy because that would set them back ANOTHER five years. Send JJ into a bad situation if he's such a winner. Let's see how that works.
When did u become “uncle Colin” lmao
McCarthy is not going 5 and the Chargers are not dumb to give up that pick for 11 and 23 and take a tackle when we desperately need playmakers. Unless we can flip that 11 for the 7th pick and get Odunze after the Giants take Nabers at 6. Then we can go OL at 23. If not, we take an elite WR at 5.
“Mock draft” proceeds to go with a 12 pick chalk mock draft based on ADP lmaooo
Aaron Jones is absolutely NOT a top 5 RB
McCarthy top 2 QB in this draft idgaf. 😊
Did Colin just call Aaron Jones a top 5 RB? Uhmmm what
Bears will go we becuase we the city demand an offense. Not one person here knows how that feels. We barely got teased with cutler and Marshall. We had a top 5 def at the end of year.
A little bit of a reach is OK but please don’t reach all the way around.
