The TNT commentary is often better than the game, especially during the regular season when players don't show-up.
Because they tell it as it is. Guys like JJ Reddick make excuses for stuff everyone sees.
During the regular season I record and watch TNT/inside the NBA, I rarely ever watch the games. If they lose that crew and television rights I might completely skip the NBA regular season.
I think we appreciate TNT post game because we know they are going to tell it like it is. As knowledgeable basketball viewers, we appreciate honest, critical takes on the games, players, team, or coaches from the tnt crew. They provide real analysis on where the shortcomings and miscuing occurred but also only give credit to where it was due. We see the fallacies of our team with our own eyes so it's nice when commentators are validating our observations or are shooting straight with us. If this is not happening we lose interest in post game shows because true basketball fans dont like dishonest flattery of commentary.
Lol the tnt crew is very biased towards certain teams. They know damn well the mavericks defense has been the best in the league for months now, no credit at all from them. They also can't stand the fact that Luka and the Joker are the faces of the league right now. There is nothing but hate out-of those guys. I can't take them serious at all. I like Chuck and Shaq but damn, get over yourselves.

Are the Mavs rising? were they a bottom feeder last year? Luka's been an on-again off-again MVP candidate for like the last 3-4 years, their "rise" if anything was outgunning the Suns, who had just been to the finals the year before, to advance to the West final. This is expected for the Mavs at this point and its an ongoing tragedy for the Clippers.

Colin laughing now at Clippers players, it seems he forgot he picked the Clippers to win. Disgusting. He also forgets to mention Luka and Kyrie have exposed him again.
Coaches don't play the game, yes. But the reality of what's inside the player's minds when things are going on is the adjustments. If a coach doesn't win over his players with good adjustments, they lose faith. In a lot of cases, I would say its childish, but this is the way people are; they want miracles from thee but not from me. As a coach you must be stoic, definitive and effective especially with adjustments which makes up over half the game plan. Lastly, you need better players, quicker, better passers, above the rim, more thicker flesh on defense, and of course a winning attitude.

Defending Darvin Ham for leading 70% of the series is insane. This isn’t how wins are measured 🤯…1-12 against the Nuggets. Case closed. Also, anyone who knows ball realizes that Ham can’t do the simple things…like call a timeout or know when to challenge. By the way, a coach can lose a locker room and the players can still play hard. Players play for their pride, their teammates, their fans…they don’t JUST play for the coach. This reminds me why I stopped listening to Colin and his dumb takes

The Lakers played for each other, but they did not play for Ham. He was not the only problem, and may not have been the most significant factor. However, he's not a good coach and doesn't deserve the defense he is receiving.
The Clippers are without their best player, I get that Kawhi is probably the most unhealthy superstar in the league, but the series is not over yet. Let's see how the Clippers respond in game 6. It's the Playoffs, is not one game is the best of 7, blowout happens its about who in the end that wins the series.
