@@stormblade1199They have some balls compared to a lot of your everyday cars on the road… plus it’s a Cadillac, it’s comfortable and a smooth ride. They have a faster version too with a V8.

Got an 07 3.6. Shes had regular, correct oil changes since she rolled off the factory...this car runs like magic! It is so quiet and smooth youd think it was a hybrid.

My 05 CTS 3.6l tops out at 150-155 mph stock with not even a tuner so it just might be where he's doing it and the weather conditions and temperatures might not be where they need to be!
I must ask but how, mine is a USA model and it had a fuel shut off at 125 only difference is it’s an 06
@virtualryan5683 yeah Idk man lots of people are having different issues when they go fast with these cars and they all keep telling me that they weren't able to reach 150 mph or even 147 mph without something going wrong or their car just won't go past 125 or 135 mph but for all I know the person who owned it before me years ago could have flashed ecu computer and had the speed limiter removed for all I know because no one is getting the top speed I'm getting out of my first Gen Cadillac CTS 3.6L
I love this car but I blew mine up in July going 250km putting a brand new motor in as we speak!

My Honda Prelude 1997 2.0 16V 133 HP, max speed 230 Km/h. Now my Cadillac 4.6 V8 Northstar 292 HP with 4 transmission, max speed 185 Km/h.
speed limiter and the 4th gear never engage on the 4t60 :/

i just got the cts 2005 this is my second caddy i use to have a 07 cts bothe 3.6l v6 one is white and the other was black on blck nice.
Just got an 03 with a 3.2l v6

What is that big high beam sign on the head unit?
if you haven’t already figured it out - (test drove one the other day, just found out myself). when the system WOULD turn on the headlights, it tells you, “headlamps suggested”. just cadillac trying to look extra luxurious by giving a fuck about their passengers safety, is all.
Yeah I would love to see a 2005 or 2006 cadillac cts 3.6 with 60hp tuned and with a volant cold air intake go for top speed and acceleration and see if it hits 160 mph and 0-60 mph in less then 5 seconds

It should be a little slower considering the 2007 v6 didnt have the direct injection power boost yet
