Ep. 372
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson discusses the new film “Sound of Freedom,” with star Jim Caviezel and real life inspiration Tim Ballard. The film details Ballard’s work as a Special Agent to fight against sex trafficking and the child sex trade. They go into depth on the psychology of pedophilia, the nature of good and evil, and how a steady faith in God has guided all three.
Tim Ballard is the founder and CEO of Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), which locates and rescues endangered children victimized by sex trafficking rings. Previously, he accrued a decade of experience as a Special Agent in the Dept. of Homeland Security, working as an undercover op for the U.S. Child Sex Tourism Jump Team.
Jim Caviezel is a prominent American actor and household name in no small part for his portrayal of Jesus Christ in “The Passion of the Christ,” (sequel coming in 2024). He has had a decades long career both on and off screen, and is an advocate for faith in the modern world.
Dr. Peterson's extensive catalog is available now on DailyWire+: bit.ly/3KrWbS8

And many of them are wealthy I'll bet, though not all. They will stand before God and they will have to think hard about what to say to him for what they have done. He sees everything.

People don’t want to accept corruption is rampant and the trafficking is at the highest levels of government the world over!

Looking across a desk at someone, knowing what they’ve done, you have to remain emotionless. It takes a toil knowing you can’t help the victims.

  • I am a child abuse and neglect attorney and after 17 years of practice I must admit to have lost count of the amount children whom I represented. Some were trafficked, raped or tortured, bought or sold. Others were neglected or made to work instead of going to school to pay off the debt they incurred getting here. Who ever says child trafficking is not real is ignorant or dishonest.

Few years later I was exposed to him again, and though no further abuse occurred, my young adolescent mind and body could not process nor understand what had happened. I began “acting out” as they called it, and I was committed to a youth psych ward for 3 months. No answers were ever given, though the medical staff suggested it must be a problem in the home so they advised my parents to separate. THANK GOD my dad refused, they brought me home and tried to do the best they could with the tools they had at the time. No one spoke of sexual abuse in the 70s. My dad never knew. I didn’t tell my mom until after our dad died.

The impact effected me for many years to the point where I could not sleep without the reoccurring dreams and not understanding why I was having those dreams, up until the age of 49 and finally sitting down with my mom and discussing the dream. She explained that what I was dreaming actually happened and which explained part of the dream of her and the police fighting to get me back from the abductor. Only then did it clear up my subconscious and eradicate the dreams. I can only have total compassion for the millions of kids who never make it back home and the nightmares. Essentially she said "You not only have my permission, but you NEED to do this, get out there and fight, I will hold down the fort with these 6 kids and keep the family together". If that isn't one of the most amazing examples of the feminine, I don't know what is. The embodiment of strength, nurture, courage and support. When a man finds a woman like that, he will go to the ends of the earth for her.

She is 25 now and has never had any kind of consensual physical relationship. She is so destroyed. She just tried again to end her own life two days ago. This issue happens here all the time, I am relieved to see good men like this stand up for these kids. I am so sad for not only my sister but all of these other children everywhere who are left so broken and disfigured by these crimes. I cannot say thank you enough to everyone involved in this. It is a very dark subject that people want to look away from, but we cannot. This is a step in the right direction to ending the horror for these babies. • @@KleinSchalker People aren't against stopping child trafficking. People are against people who lie about child trafficking to come off as a hero. Tim Ballard is a proven liar who fabricated quite a few of his stories, per others who were with him. His organization covered a lot of it up, or tried to. Most of the kids that were rescued were given no aftercare and were released just a week after with no safety nets in place and no way to keep them out of harms way. They were used. Several Christian anti-trafficking organizations have spoken out against this film now because of the way it fabricates how these rescues go and how it glosses over the actual work. A majority of it just isn't the reality of the jobs they do. The cherry on top of this awful cake is the fact that the movie doesn't even provide resources nor ways to get involved or donate...just a QR code so you can purchase more tickets to the movie. So they can make more money. It's a glorified action film that isn't based in reality. THAT is why people are upset over it.

  • It makes sense to what you all are saying here. I'm an American man and I've been a christian for 33 years of 52 years of my life living in Rio De Janeiro. Since 2011, my Lord has sent me out in the streets, favelas, and even City of God where many of these places are dark and dangerous to go there. My Lord has given me the boldness to walk this dirt road, I call it. Only God could give me the strength and courage to leave my comfort zone and share the Gospel and then go to City of God to teach the children about God and a little English. I've had my discouragement times and depression, but you gentlemen have reminded me again of why I go out and the sacrifices that were made to go and let go of my life. To die to self. I've had to give up living a better life in the U.S. to live here. I've met some wonderful people and children since I've been here. It is a blessing. I'm only sowing the seed for our Lord as a messenger, though. I'm not asking for a pat on the back or a reward. The credit belongs to my LORD only. He is my reward. Oh, my heart-aches to know how much evil is being done in this world and especially against the children and the babies being aborted and abused. God bless you all for sharing this!

  • This is an incredibly powerful inteview! Thank you all for this. I have huge respect for all three of you gentlemen! Thank you for sharing your insights and beliefs and feelings in this interview. The sick underworld of trafficking and sexual perversion being exposed is not an easy endeavour as you have all communicated during this interview. There is a huge amount of resistance from clandestine areas of society that revel in the dark and are supportive of legislation that promotes these obscene practices being acceptable. They are absolutely unacceptable! Thank you to you all and to the many people who are actively working to bring this to light and to bring an end to these horrific actions and situations in the trafficking and sexual perversion rings. I drew a great deal from your inspiration, and passion and from the deeper insights in sharing some examples of situations you had each experienced. And for the way you unpacked the psychology and thought processes that led to each of you making certain decisions when faced with difficult challenges and choices at those specific times. The questions asked were authentic, practical, morally grounded and thought-provoking. What also stood out for me was the depth of understanding of the human psyche expressed and shared using specific examples in actually confronting evil. The idea that we all are presented with challenging circumstances (some perhaps where more evil is confronted than others) that are opportunities to choose between a seemingly easier path for short-term gain that is unaligned with integrity that often ends up being empty and a path that is seemingly more difficult and harrowing that is aligned with integrity and ends up with greater strength and depth of character over time, really resonated for me personally. Thank you for sharing the outcomes of certain decisions; relationship dynamics and your faith in benevolence, truth and ultimate creative consciousness. May we all do better at embracing the light we each are and have access to, and create environments that are worthy of our highest visions of truth, beauty, integrity strength and benevolence despite whatever darkness may be presented overcome especially in confronting and getting rid of all components that make it possible for this underworld activities to continue. Further, thank you for further testimonies and encouragement to stand with integrity for what we believe is right and aligned with Light and Truth no matter the difficulty or evil / darkness that we are faced with.

    • Amen. On July 4th, 2018 (five years ago tomorrow) I had my awakening to the fact that this level of evil exists in the form of child trafficking and rape and murder and that it's not just being perpetrated by a few random individual sickos acting on their own but that there are organized networks of these people, some of whom are very rich and powerful and even famous and it shook me to the core. When I saw the Podesta emails and how they were using known pedophile code words and then I saw how John Podesta's brother, Tony Podesta, had all kinds of paintings depicting child torture and I looked into Marina Abramevich and 'Spirit Cooking', the picture that was coming into focus for me sent chills down my spine and I remember telling my brother then, "This whole global power structure revolves around the trafficking, Satanic Ritual Abuse, rape, and murder of children. These people worship Satan and use blackmail on each other to make sure no one spills the beans and so everyone does as they're told." Then Jeffrey Epstein was arrested (speaking of "Q Anon", that's how I became aware of a lot of what's really going on). Now this movie is finally coming out and we're getting closer and closer to the 'Great Awakening', when the general public will finally be forced to wake up to this evil that exists, including and especially at the upper echelons of many global power structures. Those who partake in this kind of evil are promoted to positions of greater power, fame, and fortune because they can be controlled via black mail, (not to mention they're obviously the kind of people who have no conscience and therefore will do anything they're told to avoid being exposed for the evil they've engaged in and because it gives them more money, power, and access to children). That's what Epstein was. That's what Pizza Gate is really about (it's not about children being trafficked out of a pizza place). And the mainstream media has been covering it up. People are going to be shocked when they find out what's been happening to children and who some of the perpetrators are and who those who have protected the perpetrators are. Better put on the full armor of God. Oz is going bye bye. God bless.

Two were in tears and the third who was sitting next to me leaned over to his wife and said “I need a break before I punch something”. Those reactions were during a movie! I can’t imagine the pressure Tim Ballard felt. He and his teams are real life superheroes. The lesson I learned is that facing evil requires deep anchored faith.

This stuff and the people involved makes my blood boil along with many other men and what I/we want to do to these pedos is frowned upon in society as to harsh. So it would be hard for me to sit through it and knowing I can't do what I want to do. What worries me is after time people will become distracted and this will lose the attention that we are seeing now. Law Enforcement individuals who deal with this are usually required to rotate out to other duties as it takes a mental toll on them. If the punishment changes for these sickos, I and others would gladly sign up to feed the wood chipper so our kids are safe from these evil demonic monsters.

This is what we really need to do, but it's going to take everyone we can to stand up against the swamp in DC and push this law for sex crimes. And the fact that Trump was the first government official of any kind to put this sick evil on blast of national TV, is the biggest reason the "elite" want to destroy him. Not only that, Trump didn't realize just how bad the "swamp" was, that he said he would drain, until he got elected and realized just how pervasive this is globally at every level. Coming against this would likely shut down many governments for an extended amount of time because there has been people in government involved internationally.

They have banned books like Dr. Suess and put "Gender Queer" in it's place and many others that are so filthy and full of pornagraphic pictures that you can't show them on KZhead and they censor you from reading them allowed at school board meetings. However, as I delved deeper into the issue of child trafficking and witnessed the harrowing abuse and torture that innocent children around the world endure, and sometimes tragically lose their lives, not a single tear escapes my eyes. Instead, my heart shatters into pieces, and I feel completely broken. The fact that powerless children are being thoroughly violated and abused in such a horrific manner leaves me with an indescribable sense of helplessness. It's an agony that cannot be put into words. Thank you to everyone involved in the production and for the hard work and sacrifices for the exposure, you are heroes!"

  • The unsung hero here is Tim's wife. Imagine, when being faced with the very real possibility that your husband will lose his job or even his life, and knowing that you certainly won't see him for a long time, telling him to keep saving kids because it's the right thing to do. What a wife. God bless her.
