The M26 missed the Battle of the Bulge. Only 20 were delivered in February of 1945. They first saw action in Aachen.

M26 in my opinion would’ve been the deadliest tank in World War 2 if it was designed and set into combat in early 1942, 1943 or 44 there it would’ve been feared more by the Germans than a T34. In Korea the M26 was a literally a Tiger 2.
Yes, if they had put him into action sooner, the Second World War would have ended much sooner and there would not have been so many victims
