Great kiln load! I just love how you used the tree form!! Such a creative idea!! Glad to see your re fires coming out nicely. I don’t know why you would have to do all of that to fix the pieces of the kiln. I’ve never heard of anyone having to do all that. I bet if you called the guy at clayscapes that Jessica always talks about would have much better solution. Please give him a call before yog do anything. He’s the real expert. Drew is his name.

Yes, I know Drew. He is who showed me (through his videos) how to change the elements. But when I change out the bricks, that is another matter. Drew lives in New York State and I’m in South Mississippi (Gulf Coast area). I know the teacher of a community studio 50 miles from me and I’m working on getting the information of the person who does maintenance on their kiln (also a Skutt kiln). I’ll keep y’all posted. Hi!! Thank you for sharing with us!! I bet you already know this but they make a kiln plaster that you can put that piece of missing brick back with. I think it is about $12 a bag.

Thanks for watching. Yes, I know about the kiln cement, but the company I got the kiln from didn’t suggest using it in the kiln. I’m looking for someone who will make a house call to do repairs on my kiln. I live in a very rural area where pottery is scarce.
