Before i drive my cheap Bentley Continental over 2000 miles to Monaco. Bentley headquarters in Crewe invited me down so they could inspect my car for any potential problems that i may run into on the way & they found some big issues!!

Imagine how bad it would look for the company if the car broke down several times during the road and everyone flamed it. This way Bentley gets a free promotion that a 15 year old car still holds up insanely good and its just good marketing for them. Bentley knows their stuff and their customers.

YEAH beacuse from donor car or junk yard he can find the part for WAAAAAAAAAAY cheaper but this way bentley dont lose almost nothing giving him the car for 1 or 2 days.. HOWEVER they will make WAY MORE money fixing his car for him ! because its still bentley doesnt matter if its 2004 or if it costs 10 k .. ITS A BENTLEY and everything from bentley is expensive as fuck .. but if you fix it yourself is not that terrible actually . A lot of stuff you can find using audi and VW .

He still going to try and drive it down to the south of France with a busted engine mount, loose pipes etc, not a hero in my eyes.
DIY repairing one of these has got to be one of the most difficult things anyone can do. They’re just sooooooooo complex and don’t take kindly to shade tree tools.
Maybe if we get him over 1 mill subs he can get the new Bentley

I've owned 2 Bentleys,, I've actually been to the showroom you were in.. And they are spot on with the parts,, 100%...For a Main dealer they are ridiculous cheap, (compared to other main dealers).... Great Great video.. Its no wonder Bentley got involved,, credit to you... Fantastic.
Is that all parts are cheaper at the dealership

haha nah they actually really liked it and was refreshing for them to see something different to the usual bentleys they have in the workshop. Alot of the technicians all started off the same way as me so they appreciate the hardwork it takes
i live about 15 minutes from Crewe. If i go on a night drive, ill sometimes go past there. the showroom even from the outside is gorgeous.

I was thinking the very same thing. Not so much the engine mount ,but while they were there they could have secured the other items.
Its not a dealer its the main production factory here in crewe dont mend them .. build them. Dont even make the parts here .. just put it all together .. with exception of the walnut dash matches etc and the leather .. but mechanically no.. so wouldn't have a spare part handy.. all accounted for . They only build cars that are already sold
Maybe like so others out there, I’m so surprised that Bentley didn’t fix those few items for Mat! Would have been a fabulous PR move and to ensure the car is totally safe for its trip to Monaco! 🇲🇨

You think Bentley would at least replace a few parts for him bearing in mind how much he’s putting their brand out there
Don't service cars here in crewe .. just build them .like an airfix kit everything comes in from Germany and is just put together . Not so much Artizan hand built anymore .. the steering wheel maybe.. everything else is honed down to about 7 minutes on each job . But thats Germans for you .. when it was rolls royce .. one person built a whole seat in one day if they were done by 3pm they went shopping or to get their hair cut ... now same seat is built by 40 people in 7 minutes ..each person doing a tiny bit each . Lot more productive but not quite as "bespoke" and artistic

Well done Bentley. They didn’t have to reach out and do the free inspection. Really good point about main dealer parts. Nice to see them supporting older cars rather than washing their hands of them as they are too old. Seems like they are enthusiasts rather than dealers. Really impressed. The colour alpine green is amazing.
