    • I had cleared NDA and went for SSB in Dehradun it was absolutely nothing, you don't think much about SSB because it's fluid and the aren't asking you to study anything to prepare. Also I'm currently preparing for UPSC and have multiple CA qualified people and people preparing for CA within my siblings or friends, it's not even close, you literally get so many years to go through it and get the time to do graduation along with it that's unthinkable with UPSC. Yes the glorification is an eyesore but that is what unchecked capitalism does, that' not to say UPSC exam is comparable to CA or SSB.

  • Mam I appreciate your authenticity. I don't intend to spread any negativity around anyone . However I deeply ponder on why all officers say these days that toppers shouldn't be glorified and yet have public insta accounts. There are many ways to guide aspirants like telegram and you tube. It is Instagram which perpetuates celebrity culture and those reels with songs . Would love to know your perspective on the same. And not targeting you mam but it is general trend I have observed . Dopt not allowing insta to be private would really help reduce this influencer culture may be but then again legal mandate doesn't answer it all in a wise society

  • Hello Sir! I've been following you for a while. Since this channel is about mental health I would like to ask is there any way to identify if one is suffering from attention deficit disorder? I did search about it's symptoms in the internet and felt that I do fit in some of them. But the problem is, those symptoms are so common that many people may identify with some of them. After looking into it a bit more, I find that in the first world countries every other person claims to have been suffering from it, either it is in trend for some reason or it is feeding the market which returns nothing but drug abuse. I always felt that a professional help may lead to exploitation. I have appeared for the exam 5 times and couldn't even clear the prelims once. Its not like didn't prepare. I did, but couldn't understand why I'm making the same mistakes. Is it really the case I mentioned above or is my mind simply coming with excuses? If possible please do reply Sir.

    • One wise man said - "Look your symptoms on the internet and the next thing you know is you have Cancer". Don't rely on internet for these things. If you feel that you may have some mental health issues, you should definitely consult a professional. There is no harm in meeting them once. You can also tell them if you don't want medication.     • Adhd is extremely common with boys...some have made it to greatness without treatment even....you can look for what works for you.

    • ADHD will make you feel like you've been pushed into the water with a bunch of trained swimmers. While both of you will be moving vigorously , your movement would be the wild flailing to keep your head above water while others would be making efficient and precise strokes to swim across. That's the curse of ADHD. Don't look for just bullet point symptoms , they're vague enough for everyone to qualify for them at some level. Read Scattered Minds by Gabor Maté and Driven to Distraction. These books explicate the symptoms in the context of real life circumstances. They speak to you on a personal level when you find vivid parallels from your own life. ADHD is not pseudo-science nor is it exact science that can be cured with Ritalin or some other magic pill. It requires you to understand your own condition as much as you can without personal judgement and then devising personalised ways to countervail the effects of your ADHD brain. It's real but not a completely debilitating condition as you can device strategies to offset the negative effects of ADHD while leaning on its strengths such as dynamic thinking, heightened empathy and emotional intelligence. Also don't tell your friends or relatives that you have this condition , either they will believe you and deprecate you for it or they won't and call you a lazy bum looking for excuses. ADHDs are more sensitive than neurotypicals and such barbs tend to leave them more wounded than most , not something you want in any case. Well good luck !

  • 2023 was my 1st attempt and I failed due to csat...even after taking it seriously...was done with 10 years of pyq ...but still I failed It was heart breaking for me..... I can completely relate
