In the FOS channel, the announcers are much louder than the engines. Who the hell would watch FOS video for announcers??? I came for the glorious sound of the engines!!

I imagine any animal born in the vicinity of Goodwood, wild or not will be very used to the thunderous sounds of the Internal Combustion Engine. Maybe their hearing has adapted over time. Like you and me, maybe they have grown to like it.
Everyone of the cars sounds better here than on the broadcast.
That’s what I’m saying the broadcast just has such bad audio this is way better.
I am partially deaf of 1 ear and I still enjoyed it

What's the big fuss about that Valkyrie (you're a Brit aren't ya?). Compared to most legends here, it's yawn, even with it's unique high-revving V12.

I stand by my opinion. Overated. Both - in terms of design and engine sound.
Great to see the JPS Lotus and the P34 Tyrell. What an era for 100%, Brit built, F1 cars. Always pushing the boundaries.
The 2 guys in that huge early racer just having a MARVELOUS outing... Yes that's the way to do it!!!!!😎😎😎👍👍👍

I have seen those Minis racing at MidOhio. They rarely use the brake. Frequently taking corners flat out and lifting one of the back wheels. Amazing to see in person.
@@brianspenst1374 I think that’s why Minis are so cool, they’re so tiny that even when they’re actually under control they look like they’re right on the edge because they cover their own length so fast and they always look a bit squirrelly
That's because the driver is Nick Swift! He will drive a Mini as fast as it can possibly go.

It definitely wasn’t Mercedes, or else the wheel would’ve never come off
@@slidey1788 Technically it wasn't the wheels that came off of that car but the wishbones just gave the ghost and with that the other suspension components made of carbon. The wheels were still attached to the hubs, it's just the hubs that weren't attached to the car anymore. 😂

I enjoy the sounds of some cars as much as seeing them.

If the future is electric cars racing without awesome engine sounds then the magic is lost.

Ehh, People said the same thing when F1 switched from V12s to V10s to V8s and then V6s The sound is cool and I love it but I also love being able to live on a planet and not potentially causing the extinction of the human race in the future too 😂🤣
