  • This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZhead channel 10 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,853 subs and > 2k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my KZhead channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a KZheadr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this KZhead thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)

    • @@isaacdavis987 Thank you! I had so many fears even before I started and I still have fears. I am still an introvert but what I really focus on is the value of the content and what I’m truly passionate about while helping others! I'm glad that I'm foolish enough to believe that I can actually start making money through my passions. I've never thought that I'd able to gain 1K subs faster. I can't imagine how many opportunities could have been wasted if I didn't have courage to go after them. That includes having this channel, being in a management role, having the people who actually care about me for who I am, freelance gigs, being an ambassador in a creative community and now I'm also planning on honing my public speaking skills through joining a toastmaster club and these all happened this year. It started with writing them all down on a piece of paper. A paper that serves as a reminder for me to go after what I want even through hard times. I'm not bragging about my accomplishments but simply hoping that this message can also inspire others to believe in themselves.

  • W'S All 2024! Easily one of the BEST pages I found for filming Hands-down. From the filming, visuals, attention to details, and as you said the philosophy of bringing it all to life, first in vision/in your mind, and then creatively in practice. Having some sort of creative process/visual foundation and philosophy GOING into things really helps. At this point I can't remember the initial video I seen from you but have been drawn in ever since to the particulars of film! It may have been the "Why Your Videos DON'T Look Like Films..." TL;DR. I really feel like one can see the process of envisioning everything then going out there to execute it and all else editing it down to a finalized product when it's broken down as you did/do. Making sure to get as much shots as needed not shying away from having a bit more footage than you know you may need for sure helps; obviously within reason. I was loving the spur of the moment ideas too such as at 13:30 with the back of the car shot making with it what you could get even if not the exact desired shot. Some things just come to mind then and there and make for some dope shots. I do nothing at all even this extensive or detailed but do appreciate just how much goes into everything as I get more into filming with more of a thought process. It's easy to sit back and watch something and then to actually think about how every single shot seen, even the split second ones that come and go are often intentional vs just some point and shoot process. Obviously for filming such pieces that is noticeable, but even now for the action sports filming I watch I can see the mix of vague point and shooting vs drawn out attention and forethought to filming it in a particular way that may look random and or not as specific, but actually is...I'm YAPPING too much now, but I can't even imagine the editing down of all these clips, even with a solid workflow and familiarity with a program, end of day that editing process is some realllll work with something this detailed lmao. This is all more obvious but I'm yapping from a absolutely clueless perspective to the point I had no idea what color grading was and so many other things people do and just found out about SLOG 3 and, holy carpal tunnel! It's like I'm zoomed in seeing a handful of things and the more and more I learn the more I start to zoom out slowly and see more and more and more just how much work goes into EVERY aspect of film/photography, all the intricate details from again filming to editing. I see the cluster F* of work that makes me appreciate things a lot more. It's the difference between taking a S* that takes a few minutes and then understanding the actual process of every system in the body that allows for such. (Or doesn't, fiber up folks, that's how I have this much time to schizo type all this 🤠) Again informative, instructive, solid tips/tricks, as well as diving into what you mention vs just saying it with no explanation and not yapping on and on like I did 🫠
