Great show guys,& you all are mostly fair,& I agree with most of what you say-though we all are biased for our teams to some degree..As Avs fan I knew we weren't gonna get run through like many thought-but also knew it wouldn't be easy for us. Likely going 7...or at least 6.I picked WPG in 7-cuz of goaltending,& home ice. I think most of it comes down to Giorgiev in the end.I like our overall talent,& Championship DNA experience more. But I don't expect WPGs defense or Hellunbuck to keep struggling so much.Avs lead the NHL in goals, comebacks,& multi goal comebacks.But that isn't a recipe for success against WPG-based on how they usually play.3rd period was a microcosm of where the Jets can get in some trouble.Up multi goals the Jets are usually a vice,& strangle the life out of you. And granted the Avs Championship experience did seem to matter in that spot. And while WPG has talent,& skill-probably top 8-10 in the Nhl-& as much forward depth as anybody-except maybe Dallas,or Vegas they aren't quite on the talent/skill level of a Colorado,Vegas, Edmonton or Dallas level-especially on defense,(except Morrisey-hes phenomenal-almost as great as Makar-but you dont have a Toewes)& absolute elite skill forwards. They aren't near as good coming from behind.But Giorgiev has much more to prove.He doesn't have to match Hellunbuck-let even play like last night. But he,& our defense have to be good...or at least above average. I'll stick with my pick of WPG in 7 for now.But I hope im wrong-especially cuz my job turns into a lot less hours over the summer-as soon as the Avs,& Nuggets seasons end. And I think there's a good chance we pull it off-but no doubt Giorgiev is still by far the biggest question mark & factor. Though last night sure gave his teammates,coaches,& fans a relieving dose of confidence...& most importantly himself.

The Jets got outplayed in both games. They got lucky that Georgiev had an atrocious game 1. The Avs should be up two games right now.
People think helle is playing bad or flopping. He’s not it won’t matter if you put brossoit in or not it’s gonna be the same score if not higher. The avs offense is so good and you didn’t see that in the regular season because 2 of the games wasn’t the same roster and the last one Colorado gave no effort after they clinched. The avs are so good it really doesn’t matter who the goaltender is they can put up 6 to 7 goals on any goaltender in the league… you saw that game 1 and against vassy in the cup run
Regarding the Jets the output last night in game 2 tonight wasn't enough if this is the blueprint going forward it'll be a short playoff run. Cycling the puck for half the PP looking for an open lane will never work. Make your success don't wait for it to present itself to you. Open a lane up yourself with movement well timed shots. Greasy is the only goals you'll get in this series. Don't try to out finesse the AVS.

Helly just doesn’t play well in the playoffs. beginning next season, he will “earn” $8.5 M AAV for the next 8 seasons.

If Hellebuyck, with his goals per game average of 5, flops again in game three, it must be LB in game 4.

I have to admit there’s some scar tissue being a long suffering Jets fan. I got a bad feeling going forward after watching the Jets self destruct. Helle stay in your net and if you want a legacy like Carey Price you better win some games in the playoffs. You’re playing against a shaky goalie why are you trying to replicate the Red Army ffs, shoot the puck! Ehlers stop behaving like a soccer player crying to the ref and get off your ass and shoot every time the puck touches your stick. Get the puck deep and go get it. Stop trying to deke guys out at the blue line. Too many small defenceman costing us in the playoffs except JM. Hope Jets can shut me up next game and get a big win.
