  • Mind! What you carry can be used against you. Avoid discusssions, it will show your weakness. Noise (alarm / screaming / shouting / talking very loud) might be your best defence, as well as running and hiding, if you are not trained in skills. If everything fails, try to find the best things on the street to trow with, to hit with or to stab with and do not hesitate to hurt your opponent. Fight for your live, go lik a madman with all means availeble at the spot. Do not carry arms, you might get jailed if things go really wrong. I am Dutch and 68 years old

    • The BolaWrap definitely shouldn't be on this list. It is not a self defense tool, it is a tool for police to subdue fleeing suspects. Funnily enough, it is classified as a firearm and the company isn't allowed to sell it to civilians because of that(i've tried getting them to sell me one, but no progress for years).

  • bola wrap is great i noticed it works well when people walk with tiny steps or put their hands down by their sides. very pratical. Got to love the door bull advert walks past an open door to kick a closed one. Strobe defender is a good idea but should random flash red and blue because not only will it freak out the attacker but it also makes them feel sick

    • Agreed. Just what I thought after watching this Video for 2 minutes. Moreover, with the right training and mindset you could probably make better use of everyday objects than of the overpriced (and in most cases surely low quality) mall-ninja bs items advertised here.

    • Whats the point? None of them will hold agains a gun...

      @user-si3xo1ms4n@user-si3xo1ms4n2 ай бұрын
    • True, but for a Scenario not involving a Gun it would be Intelligent to at least carry something. Once you select a product that is LEGAL in your Area, Practise EVERY DAY. If you are not proficient with your selected item it is a total waste of time. Leave it at home in case you hurt yourself. The worst case scenario is losing control and having your item used against you. I have taught Self Defence for Women for many years. The biggest Crime is Complacency. Either get Serious about your Personal Safety or take your chances. Carrying some form of Protection is a Waste of Time if you have no idea how to use it Proficiently. It might not just be you. Consider the fact that you could be in a Situation where you may have to defend your child. If you have children, enroll them them in a Good Martial Arts Class from approximately age Five or Six, dependent on the child’s ability to cope. I started Kung Fu at Five and Karate at Seven. No one should have to walk in fear. I teach one lass aged Six. This girl is exceptional and could stop an Attack from an Attacker Five times her age. You are not teaching your children to be Thugs, you are giving them Life Skills that unfortunately because of our changing world they will probably need. Whatever you choose to do enter into it with the right mindset.

    • The cap with the knuckle duster is a good example. It isn't going to help if you can't throw a punch in the first place, as the women in the clips demonstrate. The self mall ninja defense industrial is such a scam. A tool won't help if you can't use it properly, just as that weekend course of wrist locks and eye gouges someone took one Saturday afternoon at the YMCA two years ago is actually more of a liability than a benefit because of the completely false sense of security it gives them.

      @XXXX-yc6wv@XXXX-yc6wv2 ай бұрын
    • That's absolutely a fact. Unless a trained martial artist and self defense expert on the use and the use ideal behind every weapon, one is more then enough. I watched a kid carry a knife on his hip for almost 2 decades. He was attacked one night and he couldn't get it out fast enough to help him! I carry two blades. A small belt knife and a hip blade. Beautiful pieces , custom made, but nothing special. Strong blades, good handles and a finer guards, or a finger hole. I must have practiced drawing each thousands of times, building muscle memories. One of for a face to face attack, the other if grabbed from behind , I have access to it quickly and it is useful to damage hands, forearms , face , and leg very fast, to free myself, then most likely I'm pumping a slug in him. Practice drawing under pressure over and over, different situations, wet or dry hands, cold or hot, coat on? Gott retrain, shorts not belt, retrain

  • Most of these will get you arrested in the UK and can result in a lengthy prison sentence if caught, going equipped is a crime, straight blades are illegal and concealed knives are a big jail time item. Just use an umbrella or walking cane which are legal to carry and don't fall foul of the offensive weapons rule because you are allowed to use anything that comes to hand to defend yourself.

    • @@chrismayer3919 , while I agree that the DOJ and prosecutors in some state and local jurisdictions increasingly seem to worry more about the criminal than the victim, the particular point that @Silvercrypto-xk4zy made isn't because of recent "progressive" politics .... It was a principal of the common-law defense of self-defense long before there even was a U.S. Department of Justice. Absent a reasonable belief that the fleeing assailant is just re-grouping and about to resume the attack, if a victim assaults his assailant when the assailant is fleeing, the victim loses his right of self-defense at that point. In effect, it has changed from permissible self-defense to impermissible revenge.

    • There would therefore be no need of a savior and redeemer. As everyone would return to heaven, Lucifer wanted to have all the glory and honor due to Heavenly Father. ''Jesus''agreed to God’s plan of salvation and volunteered to leave his Heavenly Father and come to earth as a mortal. He agreed to suffer for the sins of all mankind and to be lifted up on the cross. As he was following God's plan, He said the glory and honor would be God’s, not His. Christ was chosen. Lucifer, along with 1/3 of all the spirits, rebelled and were evicted from the presence of God. Lucifer and his followers have since been trying to thwart God’s plan by tempting as many of God’s spirit children, his brothers and sisters, as possible to become unworthy of salvation and redemption. • I've come up with a design for protection and defense. Handle grips small steel rod. Sharpened on side facing out. Rod goes through handle grips half inch past thumb bent again to come across knockles and half inch past pinky finger bend again so bar runs past elbow half inch or longer and bend again out away from elbow reinforced somehow through fingers and leather straps around forearms. This way you can punch, elbow the one perpetrating a fraud 💥😵‍💫😆 full range of movement of arms. I thought this up one day in shop class in high school 1983 had it almost finished and shop teacher got it first. Far as I got with project. Can you see my vision?
