Just thought of this idea and of course...
You can adjust the string length and make the toilet seat lifted a little higher. If the seat lifted fully upright position making the string very short, it does not come down since the gravity pulls down the seat. Thank you for your point. I appreciate that.

Nah it's not hard to do but my partner doesn't live with me, she just stays over with me sometimes and we've had this argument before. the point is it's my house and why should I have to put the seat down just to make her happy, I know I may sound like an asshole but when I'm at hers I put the seat down because that's how she likes it, why should I be called disgusting in my house for not doing something that saves women less then a second of there day.
