Werder Bremen produced an incredible display in their final home game against 1. FC Köln. Bremen were two points behind Fortuna Düsseldorf in the play-off spot. Only a win for Bremen could keep their hopes of staying up alive. Ideally, Werder needed to win by a large margin. A draw for Düsseldorf and a win for Werder would put the two clubs level on points. Goal difference would then be decisive and Bremen were four goals worse off before the game. Werder certainly put on a show - with Yuya Osako on fire, they brushed Köln aside with a 6-1 victory. As Düsseldorf lost 3-0 at Union Berlin at the same time, Bremen go into the Bundesliga play-offs after a brilliant display. Enjoy the Werder show with all seven goals.   • I’m Japanese fan and really proud of Yuya Osako. I think he doesn’t fit for a while but I’m happy that his great performance came back at the last moment. I’m looking forward to the game against Heidenheim and I’m sure he can keep this quality for that one. And I hope He will get better next season in Bremen and score more than 10 goals for the first time in Bundesliga.

  • Bremen had helped themselves out in the match day 34 in this season and dusseldorf had a direct drop after a 3-0 defeat in the match day 34. This situation makes me remember about dusseldorf’s relegation in 2012/13 season

    • lol dusseldorf weren't in direct drop with 30 points and the 17th place has 28 points like 12/13 season and the 17th team win and dusseldorf lost 3-0 also like 12/13 and were directly relegated, AND THE 17th team were in play OFF just like 12/13 season and they won it. JUST LIKE 12/13 SEASON BRUH HOW IS THIS INSANE COINCIDENCE POSSIBLE???
