From spring through summer and into fall, enjoy the variety of wildlife that pass by this single camera location in the Yukon wilderness from 2021. Highlights include both grizzly and black bears showing interest in a scent marking tree, a pair of lynx at night, a few big bull moose in fall, several wolf visits, and a wolverine among a few other species.
The local back-scratcher is very popular. 🐻🐻❄🧸
Yeah interesting how so many stopped and sniffed eventhough they didn't scratch
Marking their scent as it seems
Think they perfumed the tree with sth.
@@Like-be4iotreehuging becomes popular in Yukon territory.

Thank you! And extra thanks for no unneeded narration or irritating music. Simply perfect.
I agree! I enjoyed the sounds of nature.
Same, annoying music is annoying.
This was brilliant. More videos like this please!!👏👏👏
100% agree to this comment
Yes, yes, yes!! 🤩🤩🤩
So not the best camping spot, got it👌🏻
😂😂 would be adventurous
Hahaha
No way!
As long as you bring enough grub for the whole gang. Looks like a tough crowd.
grizzly man would disagree
Wolves, lynx, coyotes, moose, grizzlies, black bears, wolverine, camera got the whole squad.
And owl.
And back scratcher🤘🏻🇨🇦
and porcupine
What, no badgers? Badgers?! We don't need no stinking badgers!
It got no cougar, bison, or eagle unfortunately but those may be residing in some different parts
That bull moose was an absolute unit.
I think exactly the same! It is like Something Prehistoric!
Lmao yes!!

Holy crap, that moose bull aproaching in dark was some solid nightmare fuel...😁
I was looking for this comment, that was terrifying
I love how multiple bears of different species all just rub the same tree.
They’re marking their territory
Leaving messages for each other. "MY tree!" and "I was here!"
It's like painting graffiti over someone else's graffiti. Just with scent
Aren’t they all brown bears?
@@turkey4802 Grizzly bears and brown bears are the same species but grizzly bears are currently considered to be a separate subspecies. And there was one or two black bears in there as well 😉🙂
Those bears really love that one tree. Beautiful wildlife, thanks for sharing.
I suspect they are scent marking.
@@Skedawg88 This is a branch of a forest forum.
Once one bear does it then they all will. I believe it's a territory thing. Letting each other know who's around. ✌🇨🇦
That first black bear was one of the biggest black bears I’ve ever seen
Made an ontario bear looks like it's cub
@@boblablaws4903 Ive seen some pretty big ones up north in Alberta but that one was the size of an average grizzly.
Big bubbah! I thought it was an extra dark colored grizzly!
I noticed that it had some white markings on the chest. Is that normal for black bears?
Yes. Some do
The moose have a prehistoric vibe up close.
Yes I thought so too they are way taller than I expected
@@kaileehamilton836 the most adorable part is how little the babies are. I saw a mom and baby in baxter state park many years ago. I didn't realize the danger I was in but thankfully I was on a pretty large rock albeit maybe 15-20 feet away at one point. Mother didn't seem to care. And she was huge. Can't imagine what a bull would look like in person.
@@rjp5167 Aww I want to see a baby moose 🥺
Modern moose are actually one of the largest of the moose species to exist, not many were larger in history, including during the iceage
They are truly remarkable
Yes, I really appreciate you not giving any narration. The nature sounds along with the film just make it perfect… But my guess is you already know that. Thanks for showing it to us.
This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful videos I've ever seen, thanks so much for sharing!
Wow that first black bear with the white chest patches was a giant. Thanks for sharing
Yeah, really big for a black bear, I thought so too.
Yeah silly me I had no clue some have white patches
It looked oddly like a sun or moon bear but this footage is from Yukon.
Truly a prime specimen.
@@mikestevenson6780It’s not common, but occasionally North American Black Bears can have patches of white fur on their chests.
Amazing how healthy all these animals look.
Right?😮😊❤❤❤❤
not much human interferance in the yukon
Must be their diet
Cuz they ain't locked behind cages at a zoo 👍
The unhealthy ones tend not to last long.
No music - what a relief. Thanks a lot.
That tree is like social media for bears, no doubt. Animals learn everything they need to know about each other through scent.
funny enough humans have an average ability to smell stuff, we just dont use it nowadays, but people more intune with nature use smell all the time. the trick is the experience to know what each smell means.
except humans never needed social media in the first place
Loved this! The tree was like a message board for who passed by. ❤

Exactly 💯!
This is the first video thats given me s good impression of the scale of these creatures without human environment being in the view. So incredible
Yeah, I really didn’t know moose were that big! I knew they were big, but this big🤩
@@JKlomp-rp5ev Even truck drivers, NEED TO WATCH OUT, for Moose. I've seen pitchers of broken windshields, where Moose Antlers have Smashed through, They Can literally crush a small car, falling onto it.
This is the best TV program happening.!!!
4:11 that dude was the definition of Moose. Strutted his stuff like a king
That first moose, it was like it showed itself off for the camera. Such a majestic animal❤
The way I cheered when we finally saw the lynx from the front, truly a majestic creature 🙏😻❤️
Unusual to see more predator than prey species in one area. Glad to get a front end shot of the lynx finally. Was getting tired of just his back end:) Cool to see the wolverine. Funny how the bears of both species will choose a specific tree to do their marking, scratching, and scent marking.
bigskye606: Yeah, it's like "uh, sorry dude, but this is my tree". 😏
Bears arent really a traditional predator species. The vast majority of their diet is plants, like 90+% in many areas.
Nice video. That scratching tree gets a lot of action. The racks on the bull moose(s) were incredible. I can tell the difference between a lynx and a bobcat, AND you had a wolverine. Wolves, coyotes, black bears, grizzly bears, porcupine, owl, bull and cow moose. That game trail is Grand Central Station of the Yukon. The rabbits and squirrels must smell all the predators and take a pass on traveling that highway. I wish we had gotten a better look at one of the black bear's chest, it looked like he had a white heart on his chest.
yes he did have a heart shaped pattern
Yes great comment this was grand central station for all of the predators, gorgeous animals but yes the squirrels and deers know this is a bear, wolverine trail the big moose can defend it self but not a small deer.
@@yukonwildlifecamsThe black bear with the white heart looks like a Russian Sun Bear😳 Great cam video.
@@yukonwildlifecams Did the wolverine near the end have a quill stuck in his nose?
@@ericadenison1019 Did wonder about the "trail" aspect. Are wolverines especially noted for trail making? LMGTFM. 🙂 It all seems to point to Ironwood. 🙂
That was AMAZING!! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed seeing that!! Thank you!!!
One of the best trail cam videos I’ve seen . Congrats 😊
That Lynx is so beautiful.
Wolverine to top it off. That was awesome.
Wow, Lynx are such beautiful creatures.
That last black bear in the snow definitely put on some hibernation weight!
Wasn't that a dark coloured Grizz? I'll have to watch again! It moved its hind feet as Grizzlies usually do when walking slowly!
Moments of calm in these hectic times. Thank you for the five and a half minutes in nature. Natural acoustics are the most beautiful music.🐺🐻
All beautiful creatures. I can’t believe how massive that black bear was!
All the critters are soooooo healthy looking - Wonderful.... Thank you again for sharing....
Those looking not so healthy have been eaten. 🙂
@@Micro-Moo regardless, it remains a fact animals are healthier in the wild. We humans would be too.
@@FireWizardGg “it remains a fact animals are healthier” This is not so simple. They are healthier not only because wild nature is more comfortable, but also because the weaker animals quickly die out.
Wow a little bit of everything there. What a great compilation. Thank you.
A pretty big bit of everything, especially bears and moose.

The bears all like the same tree to scratch :-)
4:56 Oh my goodness, the wolverine! Such a cool critter. 5:05 That’s a gorgeous lynx. Lots of cool critters in a boreal forest! Wonderful placement. I’m surprised that there are more predator animals. I would love to visit Yukon one day. Good job!
I am so grateful to be enjoying all of your videos. I am not able to go hiking in the woods anymore and I send a big thank you for providing Glorious Amazing footage of animals being wild and Free. Keep up the great work you do and sharing for all of us to see.
I had the same thought.
So wonderful to be reminded of a whole other world out there and truly beautiful. Loved watching your video!! Thankyou
I thought the bears were big... but then I saw this enormouse male moose, like 2-2.5 taller than them. Jesus.
Good Lord. May I never run across bears of that size without substantial fire power. I decon my cameras, wear exam gloves when placing and I have had bears take them down, elk come up and nuzzle their muzzles to the camera! Great placement and thank you for giving us a peek.
Sounds like you know what it's like to deal with wildlife mucking with cameras
Now, that’s the definition of a game trail. Not sure how often you checked on the camera, but the wolves, in particular, were very aware of your scent. Fascinating. Wonderful, pure video, no distractions. We live in the Chugach foothills of Anchorage, and have seen all of those critters walking through our property, to a lake across the road. Alaskans are lucky that way!
I live in northern Minnesota and I've all these critters over the years except the grizzly. I enjoyed this a bunch. Thanks!
No music, no narration just to hear yourself speak, under 10 minutes with non-stop great content. You’re my hero, great video!
can't do the music thing when there's often great natural audio, yet sometimes some horrible static too
@@yukonwildlifecams yes, just the sound of footsteps on leaves and branches is soothing. Thank you.
Coyote, moose, wolf, Lynx, Brown & Black Bear, Porcupine, Bobcat, Wolverine - so amazing!
Thanks for the great, picturesque video!
The more I know humans, the more I ADORE wild animals.
Thanks so much for posting this. it was amazing to watch all the wildlife that we would never be able to get close to. I was so glad to see the Lynx’s face at the end
Something about the size of that bull moose and the glowing eyes in the infrared… full body chills. That’s a massive and beautiful animal.
What a busy intersection, full of gracefully moving creatures going about their business.
That first black bear (not the grizzly) was HUGE
I just commented that. He's a monster black, and what a beautiful, unique chest patch also
An absolute unit. I would bet he chases grizzly’s off. Black bears who compete with grizzly’s for food are often hyper aggressive and every bit as dangerous
@@blakekennedy4639 big black bear indeed. But he is not messing around with those grizzlies. Grizzlies are known to hunt and kill black bears
Now this is a remedy for stress and anxiety. Thank you.
I can never get over how prehistoric a moose looks. Truly majestic.
Just seeing the Lynx and Wolverine made my day. That one black bear is a unit!
I’m always amazed at how many animals see the camera even those cameras that are hidden very well!
Thanks so much. I love when the trail camera is left in one spot for a long time. And you get to see all the traffic passing through 😊
That bird with the spiraling call, love hearing those guys early in the mornings out in the woods.
Not from the Yukon, but from Canada, and it’s so nice seeing these beautiful animals we have without disrupting them or just getting a look from the side of the road. Thank you so much!
Can we appreciate the fact that this video is exactly 5 and a half minutes
That one Message tree! LOL!! Thanks for sharing this video! 👍😊
Antlered moose showing up in the night like a Dark Souls boss.
They sure love that Tree!!!..the moose were amazing!! thank you for sharing!!
My grandparents lived in Ft. Yukon in the late forties and early fifties. Grandma was the postmaster and Grandpa ran the Hudson Bay trading post. Grandma let all the hunters and trappers know she would pay top dollar for moose liver. She was English. Liked all that offal. Great video. Thanks.
That bull moose looked like something out of a horror movie
This is amazing... felt like having a Bull Moose in my living room. Thank you!
I loved watching this. Thanks from Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
What a wonderful footage with such magnificent animals! Thank you, much appreciated ❤❤❤
Best 5 and 1/2 minutes spent! Awesome…mousses, wolves and bears..oh my…was that also Hugh Jackman in the mix…
That last bear is gorgeous! I was also in awe seeing the wolverine what an amazing trailcam I hope you share more footage of this active spot again ❤
💙👍..love the variety of wildlife using this trail. That's an unusual white circle marking on the bear's chest (at minute 1:32 )
The wolverine and lynx are the coolest
Thank you for actual sounds and no music or narration. Excellent video. ❤️
It is truly beautiful to watch the giant moose etc walk as quietly as they do - amazing
All these animals are in great shape, the bears are very plump! They pass quietly and without fear; they all follow the same tracks. I'm happy to have finally seen the lynx coming from the front.😊😊 And then I didn't think that a peaceful elk seen at night could have such a "nightmare" silhouette! Thank you for this beautiful spectacle with only the sounds of the forest and the discreet footsteps of all its magnificent guests... 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
'No Elk only Moose in these sequences!
Wonderful footage! A well traveled path through the woods is a busy one, and the wildlife don’t seem to steer away from its worn ground. The standing tree gets a lot of attention with the beautiful bears using it as a back scratcher.
I was surprised by the wolverine! Such a busy route! Neat that the Grizzly marked territory and the black bears stayed away.
'Not that huge Black Bear boar with the large white chest patch!
Beautiful animals; wild & free just as they should be.
Gotta love the wildness of the Yukon❤
It's interesting to see all the different animals using the same pathway. They've made a trail - very interesting.
Excellent video...what a nice variety.
Majestic! ❤
Best trail cam video I've seen so far.
Me too this is a very well used trail by larger animals, deers clearly avoid it too many lynx, wolverines on this trail for their liking.
Loved seeing the Lynx and the Wolf. Beautiful animals xxx

God I wish I had that nature in my backyard 😫 absolute pure bliss!
Amazing how healthy all these animals look
This is so cool. Love to see these beautiful animals. Love we the white spot on that black bears chest, I never knew that was a thing. Thanks for posting this
Small white chest markins on Black Bears are common, however of hundreds of BBs that I've seen professionally coast to coast in Canada, I've never seen one nearly that large and prominent!
These animals all look beautiful and in such good condition I love it. Especially those bears with how well colored and well fed they look.
I'm a biologist, but I could never warm up to bears for some reason. Maybe because they don't seem to have a sense of humor.
Such a great spot for a trail camera, The backscratching is pretty funny.
