What school did you go to
Same
THANK YOU LAD
I was born in 1990 and I remember all of these, we never got to go onto the thing in the sports hall. But I do remember they had them out 1 PE lesson and we still were not allowed on them. My brother had crazy bones, they were basically pogs for people born in the late 90s.
I was allowed to go on mine on special days (last days of term)
I think the thing you’re referring to in the sports hall is an apparatus?? Don’t quote me on that tho
P
are you 30 something
Bro your profile picture looks like you're 9
4:28 Sadly, the moment I hit Year 6 after like a week of assemblies one year 6 class wouldn't shut up, and so we as a year group lost bench privileges. And I was horrified to learn that this was made a permanent rule in our school. That year 6s wouldn't be able to sit on the benches. I waited all year for that experience as well!
Sad bro my back hurts when I sit on the floor I have to wait 2 more years until I can sit on a bench
Thankfully I Only Have To Wait 7-8 Months Prob
in my primary we didn’t even have benches for y6 you sat on the cold floor
that’s a bummer. In my primary school though, we had whole school assemblies so as per usual Year 6 would get to sit on the benches and my primary school was quite a small school so it had only one Year 6 class. So, if someone was mis-behaving or being naughty or whatever, the teachers that were stood at the side just told them to go sit by the Year 1’s / Reception so they were embarrassed. So yea if someone was misbehaving it wouldn’t affect the whole class.
Samee that happened to my class btw I'm in year 6 now
This brings memories, Plimsolls hit different bro
The knobbly bit on the bench up the butt was the worst pain for a british kid.
Innit fr
Yessss
SO TRUE
YESS
My school has a renovation so they used chairs they made it so MODERN 😢
I remember those sand bags One of the roofs in the hall allowed you to see the pipes and one person threw the sand bag so high it got stuck on one of the pipes It is still there to this day because I checked during my siblings parents evening Good times.
OH MY GOD THE BUBBLEGUM GAMERPIC FROM THE XBOX 360!
They were bever washed no some were always mouldy 😢
As a graduate of primary school 2016-2023 I can very much remember these and I started crying
As a 2010s kid this is nostalgic. Thanks a lot Ev.
FINGAS
1:22 i only used that once in my life at a club at my old primary school
GEOMETRY DASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
went on it once during pe
Used to be allowed to go on it every indoor P.E session if you were well behaved, but you couldn’t go higher than 3 bars.
i went on it once then i moved to a school that didnt have one :/
Omg the bean bags are so nostalgic! I must say, every time I put my fingers in those red scissors i'd freak out for second because it feels like my fingers get stuck.
BRO SAME I HATE WHEN I PUT MY FINGERS IN THEM- 😂
One day, I saw those silver barber looking scissors and 6 year old me tried to give myself a haircut. I got in trouble. 😂
As a British kid born in South Yorkshire in 2002. The nostalgia is overloading
It brings back *repressed* memories.
Bro why is this nostalgic
Really good. Video JJ GREAT JOB!🎉. This is the most likes I have ever had thank you guys
I never realised how bad I want an hour long complication of pure raw British 2000s nostalgia
The PE Frames (My primary school had 2) we were actually allowed to go on for once in Year 6. It was like our 3rd to last day so we got totally get those out and climb them for once. (I fell off multiple times 😭 but we did have soft mats almost everywhere so you didn’t fall onto the rock hard wooden floor)
I was born in 2008, I'm in yr 11 now, I remember about 95% of the things in this video haha. Literally every teacher in my primary school told us about a kid they knew who swung back on his chair and cracked his head open
In primary school, we had this thing called the golden table and if you were like really well behaved then you got to go on the stage and eat at a golden table with crowns. I didn't like the golden table so whenever I got picked to go up on the golden table I just went to my friends instead 👍.

I only ever got to go on that climbing frame once throughout the whole of primary.
Same
2005 reminiscing on simpler times. Also the climbing frame we were never allowed to use is amazing
When I saw all of these I was then flooded with memories especially with the ads and it’s true why did the Year 6’s always get to sit on the bench’s I miss being younger
OMG THE SWORD BRICK THINGIES. I LOVED THOSE. My brother had rip of bay blades from a dodgy market in greece. I remember one time at after school club we were having a loom band fight and then the teacher walked in and made us pick up thousands of loom bands off the floor
JJEverettRose, I love your content! Always puts a smile on my face.
This works for New Zealand too, this video gave me so much nostalgia
Dude you need to make a part with Henry getting his memory back and becoming smart again until some guy throws a brick on his head lol
4:45 my sister was that person slightly different story, she was forward on the chair so the back legs were in the air, the teacher tripped over her chair and when the teacher came back to school he was in crutches 💀💀. that was the new story for our school for years after 😭😭
Man those little bean bags I remember the second the teacher brought them out we'd be lobbing them at each others heads and get told off
Its just perfect I am in school currently and all this we have.
I'm in college and a lot of these I remember
1:12 that thing on the gymnastics hall and those bean pillows are soooo true
Loving your videos! And yes I do remember these
Wow the nostalgia man it's unreal
i remeber everything from school because ive only just moved to year 7 in september
yeah i had like all of those toys and ive seen those adverts too (just i had star monsters not gogos), but we did get to go on the apparatus (climbing thing) sometimes, but rarely and it was really fun tbh
1:06 i remember we went on this one time in year 1 it was for gymnastics. Needless to day, the best day of my life.
Yo jj i was laughing my head off all of these where relatable and idk why the year sixes got to sit on the benches it was so unfair in like class 2😂
ngl when I reached year 6 I remember just fiddling with the end of the benches like i don't why but it felt really nice doing it and I still remember being in like year 3,4 looking back at the year 6s and seeing how big they looked on those benches
This man’s unearthed memories I haven’t thought about since 2012
Nice
Btw first
I’ve actually been on the climbing frame before!! It was so fun!!🎉 I was only in year 3!😮😅
Samee
Gogos fr were my childhood like I still have a few but certainly not half of what I used to 😅❤
I remember my school had one of those climbing things at 1:01. They would put a ladder between the two walls & my mate got banned from going on it because he jamp off the top & cracked his head on the ladder (he was alright)
I went on the inside climbing frame a few times, as a part of gymnastics club:D
As a someone was born in 2007 I can remember them but some I did not seen before in life.
I think that photo of the climbing thing was took at my primary. It was took at (maybe) Whitleigh primary school in plymouth!
I loved the left handed scissors but if only they actually cut something 😂
My school only had like 3 in the whole school and practically forced, e to be right handed so now I use both 😊
4:47 I used to always swing on chairs in primary, when I hit year 7 I stopped swinging on chairs because the chairs are so bulky its almost impossible to. Unless I was against a wall then you could kind of swing back
1:03 i remember when i was in year 4 i remember we used that one time for a pe lesson, i think we also used it in year 5 for pe in the hall.
I ust to watch that show all the times ❤
I am a British 2000's kid and all these things are making me nostalgic
Brings back memories
beanbagsss, omg pen lisencesss, omg we only ever used those climbin frames once and once only, omg parachuteee
I will add a word everytime I remember something from this video this video is very relatable to me and probably lots
For the first image I felt nostalgia form my infant school all of my time there one of them bean bag thing we’re stuck on one of the support beams 😅😂
I’m still in school but this is giving me SO. MUCH. NOSTALGIA. From when I was like 6-7

@@zesty7045 💀🗿💀🗿💀🗿
i rememeber: beanbag, handwriting pen, the climbing wall thing, the parachute thingy, yh those pe shoes, those block thingies and yh i made swords, i do recognise that ad i think, not much the rubber but yes we did, yes we used those scissors and i still do in highschool for some reason, those benches, i had that story told to me but not those specific chairs,
I remember having climbing frames in the hall and we only climbed on it in yr3 (once) and in yr6 (once) in P.E and it was so hurtful cuz we always take off our socks in the P.E so I climbed up the METAL bars and it was so hurtful
omg the beanbags i was sooooo competitive with that
The nostalgia 😂❤
1:08 my biggest flex is that we went on one of those and they are like for climbing, they are so fun istg (we used them for a week)
I was born in 2001 and can remember: The beanbags. The climbing wall. (there was a similar one in my high school gym). The parachute. I loved going underneath it and sitting on the edge to keep it up. Chinese whispers and cat and mouse were the two games that were played with it. The coloured blocks. Beyblades. I played with them once at my neighbour's house. Loom bands. I still have a box dedicated to them because I don't want to give them away. The scissors and the container they came in. I actually found I could cut with them. I tried the yellow and green ones for left handed people and couldn't cut with them because I think they were defiantly made for left handers. The school benches. In my primary school, for assembly, everyone year 4 and below had to sit on the floor and the year 5s and 6s had the privilege to sit on chairs. Do you remember the school songs we had to sing in assembly? Because I went to school in Wales, I had to sing Welsh songs as well. On the bus to high school one day, we had a big nostalgic attack and started reciting some of the memories and songs from primary and TV shows. Swinging the chairs. My primary school teacher or my mum told us about the time someone cracked their head open on the radiator behind. Zhu Zhu pets. I still have 3 of them. Crazy frog. Thank you for bringing back all the nostalgia.
I like how primary schools haven't changed at all so anybody can relate to this
Can’t forget the cheesy string adds😂😹
We went on those climbing frames in the hall at least 5 times a year
Nostalgia hits hard
The wooden gym apparatus was used when I was at school they were banned from being used just after I left. To many health and safety concerns with them
I used that random thing once and they are the best thing ever to exist in the world
As a 2010s British kid this is so nostalgic
3:28 SIR THOSE ARE SKOOBY STRINGS but they still took over my life
CONGRATS ON 1MILLION SUBS!!!!!
1:05 we actually went on these once, they folded out kinda like a cube or something, we were probably the only class to ever use the *mysterious wall thing*
2003\12\10 three years younger and mostly remember from primary. I watched this.
the climbing frame and not being alowed on like i just really wanted to go on it
I remember all of them it's so much nostalgia
The only time we ever got to go on the climbin' frame in the hall was in p.e./gymnastics 😢
The climbing frame in year three you get to go on it I’m year seven but I just remember
4:00 the blades are swapped around so they cut the opposite way, otherwise left people would struggle even more with the right hand scissors
at 1:05 i remember this from my primary we went on it a total of 3 times we would go drop off the regester at the office and every time se that same reception class on it
Oh my god😂 that climbing frame was in my school hall
At my school as I went to a huge school only 2 yrs has assembly at a time so that meant that whoever sat best in the previous assembly would get to sit on the benches in the next assembly.
The golden coin advert is so nostalgic It would always be on
The pen license. I never got one lmao
I always remember the giant expensive climbing frame that literally never got used lol
One of my mates actually swung back on his chair, he cracked his head open on the sink or low bookshelf (because we were 3ft 2 midgets). My teacher started shouting at him to come with her before she lost her job. all i remember was her coming back into the classroom white as a ghost
We only went on that gym equipment once
1:05 its an apparatus and i went on them once in my 6 plus years in primary school
4:29 my benches got took off us cause we were to silly on em Only had them for like 1-2 months
I remember one time I used the climbing fences in reception
0:48 Nah my primary school had pen lincences where you couldnt write in pen until you got one and it could be revoked. They always handed those pens out with them. Tbh my spelling was appauling so i never got one. Some kids as early as Y2 got them
4:48 We were told a story about how someone was running down the stairs to our playground (hard concrete stairs) and tripped and cracked his head open to stop us from rushing to break
The nostalgia honestly
1:03 I got to go on it once when I was in year one in pe and then I never went on it again
The climbing frame ee got to use it
We went on the climbing frame but only for 1 day so they use them once a year in our primary school
My teacher would be like “took your bloody shirt in”
I actually used the climbing frame in the school hall once
All of them so much remember
I got soo excited seeing the scissors container in the thumbnail that I had to click to find out what other things bring nostalgia.
Omg I had that exact golden coin maker even down to the box
Ahhh when I was in nursery we had those cubes, and me and my friends madea huge cube stack
