I decided to cast net this spillway under repair and found it's loaded with all kinds of fish. I even made a super rare catch!

  • Wow amazing net fishing brother

  • Wow I've never seen that fish before. This reaction was the exact same as my reaction to catching my first ever Rio Grande Cichlid before I knew they existed. Love locations that bring such a variety of species which pretty much defines Florida. Can't wait to see what spring fishing brings for the channel!

  • The marble goby, a close relative of the bigmouth sleeper, is considered to be very delicious in east and southeast asian countries, demanding a very high price relative to other fish species. In Indonesia, where I live, marble gobies are only usually sold in luxury restaurants.

    • @@wildlifefishingshow the fish are schooling and moving. the places you think is bad is really good they did a study on bass in Texas and they have seen bass move them stay in one spot not moving hardly at all then move long distance from area to spawn and then move miles away from the area typically twice a year they move and now being spawn time they are moving and eating less till after the spawning season. Now small baits are working better than the big baits. Less energy used to eat little things they are also aggressive with all other fish in spawning bed areas. Small fish baits like bluegill and such work if you piss them off they will strike it. But it takes time to work the fish to get it pissed off.
