I don't think Ryan Garcia has ever underestimated a fighter. Even guys he's supposed to easily beat he always gives them their props and he knows this Tank fight is by far his most difficult fight and he knows he's the underdog.

Tank has never faced anything like Ryan in the pros so far either. I think the speed will give Tank trouble but i still have him winning.

completely disagree. how & where you grew up definitely has an impact. look at some of the greatest boxers of all time. Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis, Roberto Duran, Tyson etc, they all had rough childhoods having to endure poverty, in some cases being without their fathers, most of them had to deal with extreme racism or were involved with gangs etc. that stuff definitely has a significant impact on people and can dramatically influence how determined you are to achieve something. Ali said one of the things that drove him to be a successful boxer was Emmett Till's death. Tank would likely be down an entirely different path if he never found & pursued boxing. for him it's not just a sport & entertainment. it's his life & livelihood. a lot of those all time greats shared the same sentiment.

@David Wilson trie fighters do ot all the time. Don't make it right. Messes uo the weight classes. Back in the day the weight ins use to be fight night. It's n3eds ro go back to that. Of you have to damn near kill yourself to make a weight then it just simply means it's not you healthy weight class. So now you have guys who belong in the weight class hydrating 6 pounds and guys that don't belong in the weight class hydrating 20 and 30 pounds. That's a huge advantage. Tank never n3eded a rehydration clause for nobody else cause they where all 135 or 130 pounders. He would regularly spar welter weights and challenged barrious for his belt. He won but tanks team admitted they made a mistake with barrios and tank tank will remain at 135 since he felt slow and not his best trying to go to 140. Tank tried once at 140 and didn't like it and his next 3 fights all be 135. Tank told ryan team to fight at 135. With no rehydration clause. Ryan team suggested a catch weight of 1 pound instead so Tank team said well then do a rehydration clause. Garcia and tank both have to weigh in twice then they can gain how ever much weight they want uo to the fight. Ryan said he fights at 148. The 2nd weigh in is 146. He can still weight 148 when it's time to fight. Ryan literally will be fighting where he is comfortable as well as Tank
