'Top Speed Germany' is a German KZhead channel for people who love cars.
My Name is Max and I film while driving cars. No matter if they are old, fast, loud or electric. They need to be special! With several onboard cams, I record everything important to show you High-Speed-Runs, Acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ) and test drives on German Autobahn or Road. Please note, Germany is the country of "no speed limit" highways. So in some places, it's allowed to drive very fast. But please don't try this if you are not an experienced driver !!   • To the people saying "too slow for that engine" or "my x car is faster": yes, your car is faster because this is a brick wall on four wheels, the least aerodynamic car on the road after trucks and it's based on an ancient military vehicle type of chassis. Not to mention the weight. The big changes to the car itself came with the latest model.

  • I took 227km/h with a G65 AMG on the German autobahn, very frightening experience with air coming through the front doors at that speed.

  • At 6000 lbs the G350 is plenty fast. I can't imagine a top speed run in a G63. Solid front and rear axles with no rear sway bar!? I would keep spare underwear handy.

    • What other car? The G is really bad at high speeds. Lots of wind noise and the solid front axle has a loosely feeling. Any 200+ hp crossover, SUV, etc feels better.

  • It's such a solid and calm drive at that speed, and sure footed. Later 350s are a little more powerful still.

  • I used to watch your videos back at my home in Kashmir and was really amazed at how fast cars can go in Germany. Now, being here in Munich, I experienced 220km/h on the Autobahn with my friends and it feels really amazing. I really want to meet you someday and maybe we can ride together.   • The OM642 V6 is a smooth torquey diesel engine and newer models or a bit of tuning will get more HP. At 180kmph the rpm is only something like 4200 (from memory) and you really are just hitting air resistance at that point.

  • I test drove one today, will test two more tomorrow. All 2017 or 2018, mileage the only difference. All in almost brand new condition. Those 600-odd strong ones made their presence known. After my old OM617 300, this feels like a rocket. Skittish indeed. Its crumple zone is the other vehicle. 😂

  • 110-115ish mph is pretty good for such a heavy and brick of a vehicle with only 210hp. has a lot of torque and good gearing, but still.

    • Изначально это утилитарный внедорожник. Его стихия это грунтовки и лёгкое бездорожье и скорость не выше 120км/ч... И есть какая то магия в том что он вообще может разгонятся до таких скоростей и в том что его не кидает на такой скорости в стороны ±1 метр.

    • Да и не надо быстрее. Машина не для этого. 0-100 быстро разгоняется? Это надо что бы в поток влиться... 80-120 тоже ? Для обгона фур. Для наваливания 200+ нужен совсем дугой даже не авто, а тип авто. А этот для состоявшихся мужчин которые уже никуда не спешат, потому что везде успевают.
