@@llednop I think is very likely. Arya and Jon always had such a strong bound, they were the two "strange" and inappropriate Stark kids, that made them so close. It's interesting when, in the revelation's scene in this episode, she is the one who says "you are my brother. Not my half brother or my bastard brother, but my brother". That's why it would have been SOOOO interesting to see the actual reaction of Arya and Sansa when Bran told them that Jon actually is Aegon Targaryen. But, whoever her "brother" is, I think that Arya loves him in the same way, and she sees that he is putting himself in a lot of troubles, following Daenerys. Whatever may happen to him, she must be there, whatever the cost may be. She has a queen to kill, and a brother to protect. "Sansa is protecting our family." "I'm her family too." "Don't forget that."

@@01InsIDer it's clear what way it's heading. Danny just goes full mad king and used bad strategies, bad intentions and just had an awful script ever since she arrived in Westeros. Her character died the moment she went across the sea. Also she'll most likely die, as in bran's (and her own) visions in season 2 she does not take the throne and John most likely will; She saw snow or ashes in the throne room and couldn't touch the iron throne. Wouldn't even be suprised if Jon has to kill danny, just like Jaimie did with the mad king.

It wasn't even a budget. Ghost whose by now a full grown dire wolf just looks like a damn husky standing next to Tormund. They didn't CGI his size at all. How much was it to hire a husky for a day? 100 bucks?? They could have had Jon fucking pet him for 5 seconds or tell him to stay or ANYTHING. they weren't even in the same damn shot!

I think they could've made a decent final season (And season7) if they had genuinely good writers instead of D&D having it their way.Season 6 was completely past the books but it was no where as horrible as this season,in fact it was great. You don't think Sansa would have had an interesting reaction to finding out Jon's true lineage cancels out Daenerys claim to the throne; finding out the man she thought was her half-brother is in fact her cousin and the rightful monarch of the Seven Kingdoms not Daenerys a woman she is clearly beginning to resent. You don't think that would have been an interesting conversation? A conversation where Sansa would have urged Jon to take the throne and guarantee the north being ruled by one of their own. Where Jon would have argued he didn't want the throne and had already pledged himself to serve Daenerys. How would Arya have felt about all of this? We do not know. It would have provided crucial character development and set up their motivations for the final couple of episodes? But whatever, the sooner this ends the better. The writing quality is on a clear downward spiral and has been for a while.

What's more unrealistic is the whole super accuracy of the scorpions, flying dragon and a medieval bolt thrower meant to shoot at walls and other more or less immobile targets. Fantasy show indeed. The writers definitely use a lot of emotional and shock value tricks to keep us engaged.

@@scamrasc why is it suddenly that she's labelled as 'mad' just because she is showing more emotions. for example when Edward was killed both Robb and catelyn discuss going to kings landing and 'killing them all' and ransacking the city for vengeance and would have done given the chance. I personally dont see how slowly killing the population of kings landing by making everyone starve is better than storming it for a quick victory. would you rather be instantly vaporised with dragonfire or starve to death slowly and agonisingly. in the siege starving scenario the poorest members of the city will be the ones to die first - at least attacking the city with dragons rich and poor will die alike with actually the tyrant ruling getting the brunt of the blast.

David 527 I think people are calling her “mad” because it seems as if all of the loss she has experienced is causing her to become very paranoid. She is starting to imagine her allies, Tyrion and Jon, as enemies. I think her fears are valid because of how many times she has lost a loved one and been betrayed, but the way they have been portraying Dany this season has me worried. They shoot her scenes in a way that makes you think she’s slowly losing her mind.

This season for some reason I am finding so many flaws and cant figure out why... Last 30 minutes of EP 3, there are about 20 people left alive yet, EP 4 half the army, and most of the "people" are still alive further deepening the complete disappointment in that 7 year build up where only a few minor characters are killed off. EP 2 Arya says "We are family. We have to stick together"...EP 4 just ups and leaves and says she is never coming back. Jon just looks at Ghost, never approaches him to say goodbye or anything... Not only are the ships able to kill the dragon without being seen, the last shot to the neck is from an impossible angle...only to be followed by them shooting the other ships at impossible angles. You cant shoot "straight" unless the scorpions are on the same level, which they are not, they are all perched on top of the ships so cant do what they did. This is a massive mistake on their part. So, Tyrion can speak at a normal level and still be heard over 40 feet in the air, clearly... Jamie is going BACK to his sister...what?!? The writing this season has taken a nose-dive...and it just so happens to be the first full season with next to no input from Martin and has been taking the story in its own direction due to having no novels to take from and only a few "meetings" with Martin on key story aspects. Such a shame.

That was never highlighted in the show however. Him having this huge goodbye could easily be seen as super forced, because he has not had any interaction with ghost since like season 3 or something. Would have been nice for the fan service and the people that read the books. But it was not really appropriate in the show.

That's why it would have been SOOOO interesting to see the actual reaction of Arya and Sansa when Bran told them that Jon actually is Aegon Targaryen. But, whoever her "brother" is, I think that Arya loves him in the same way, and she sees that he is putting himself in a lot of troubles, following Daenerys. Whatever may happen to him, she must be there, whatever the cost may be. She has a queen to kill, and a brother to protect. "Sansa is protecting our family." "I'm her family too." Her character died the moment she went across the sea. Also she'll most likely die, as in bran's (and her own) visions in season 2 she does not take the throne and John most likely will; She saw snow or ashes in the throne room and couldn't touch the iron throne. Wouldn't even be suprised if Jon has to kill danny, just like Jaimie did with the mad king.

I think they could've made a decent final season (And season7) if they had genuinely good writers instead of D&D having it their way.Season 6 was completely past the books but it was no where as horrible as this season,in fact it was great. Also if they did things to advance the plot(Which would've required a regular 10 episode season)and not just to provide visual spectacles.
So do all who have seen such times, but it is not for them to decide. It's what they do with the resources that are given to them.

You don't think Sansa would have had an interesting reaction to finding out Jon's true lineage cancels out Daenerys claim to the throne; finding out the man she thought was her half-brother is in fact her cousin and the rightful monarch of the Seven Kingdoms not Daenerys a woman she is clearly beginning to resent. You don't think that would have been an interesting conversation? A conversation where Sansa would have urged Jon to take the throne and guarantee the north being ruled by one of their own. Where Jon would have argued he didn't want the throne and had already pledged himself to serve Daenerys. How would Arya have felt about all of this? We do not know. It would have provided crucial character development and set up their motivations for the final couple of episodes? But whatever, the sooner this ends the better. The writing quality is on a clear downward spiral and has been for a while.

IKR... someone isn't doing their job this season. Anyways, at least we have cinematographers letting us know Dany is going full Regina George down to mean mugging everyone with her Starbucks to her right.
Rhaegal deserved better and Ghost whimpering without a hug from Jon is criminal. You literally took out Rhaegal the way you did just for shock factor. Completely unbelievable to think Eurons ships wouldn't have been spotted from far away in the sky.
What's more unrealistic is the whole super accuracy of the scorpions, flying dragon and a medieval bolt thrower meant to shoot at walls and other more or less immobile targets. Fantasy show indeed. The writers definitely use a lot of emotional and shock value tricks to keep us engaged.
Sined scorpions we’re not at all used for attacking walls, ballista/catapults/ trebuchets are what you go for, scorpions are used for field battles usually
These first 4 episodes have just been the writers getting rid of or killing the characters they have no idea what to do with 🙄

I personally dont see how slowly killing the population of kings landing by making everyone starve is better than storming it for a quick victory. would you rather be instantly vaporised with dragonfire or starve to death slowly and agonisingly. in the siege starving scenario the poorest members of the city will be the ones to die first - at least attacking the city with dragons rich and poor will die alike with actually the tyrant ruling getting the brunt of the blast.
David 527 I think people are calling her “mad” because it seems as if all of the loss she has experienced is causing her to become very paranoid. She is starting to imagine her allies, Tyrion and Jon, as enemies. I think her fears are valid because of how many times she has lost a loved one and been betrayed, but the way they have been portraying Dany this season has me worried. They shoot her scenes in a way that makes you think she’s slowly losing her mind.

She spared Tyrion's life after just sending an assassin to kill him and Jamie. I love Lena's portrayal but the character is not very consistent.
Except that she didn't kill Dany on the spot when they were all sitting ducks in front of King's Landing. That is not consistent with her character at all. Lena is awesome she can get under your skin for sure.. but the ending made no sense.

This season for some reason I am finding so many flaws and cant figure out why... Last 30 minutes of EP 3, there are about 20 people left alive yet, EP 4 half the army, and most of the "people" are still alive further deepening the complete disappointment in that 7 year build up where only a few minor characters are killed off. EP 2 Arya says "We are family. We have to stick together"...EP 4 just ups and leaves and says she is never coming back. Jon just looks at Ghost, never approaches him to say goodbye or anything... Not only are the ships able to kill the dragon without being seen, the last shot to the neck is from an impossible angle...only to be followed by them shooting the other ships at impossible angles. You cant shoot "straight" unless the scorpions are on the same level, which they are not, they are all perched on top of the ships so cant do what they did. This is a massive mistake on their part. So, Tyrion can speak at a normal level and still be heard over 40 feet in the air, clearly... Jamie is going BACK to his sister...what?!? The writing this season has taken a nose-dive...and it just so happens to be the first full season with next to no input from Martin and has been taking the story in its own direction due to having no novels to take from and only a few "meetings" with Martin on key story aspects. Such a shame.

It's not even that Jon jilted Ghost, but how are you gonna pawn off your LOYAL direwolf off to Tormund? Ghost has had a strong psychic connection to Jon since the beginning.
That was never highlighted in the show however. Him having this huge goodbye could easily be seen as super forced, because he has not had any interaction with ghost since like season 3 or something. Would have been nice for the fan service and the people that read the books. But it was not really appropriate in the show.
