As a filmmaker and his girlfriend return home from his movie premiere, smoldering tensions and painful revelations push them toward a romantic reckoning.
when he says i love you and she says don’t manipulate me... i felt that
Yesss
She was projecting
@@michaeljensen4650 how?
@@tyjanagist5343 Because that's what manipulative people say to you. "Don't manipulate me." "Be Honest with me."
@@michaeljensen4650 Nope. Saying i love you when you don’t understand or mean it but just want the fight the end is manipulation. Check a dictionary
Zendaya and John killed it in this film!
Just me or they look odd , one looks like 18 and the other 38.
@@guillermoperalta6659 the fact Zendaya is still looks younger than her real age and she still playing a teenager ...yeah I got it I mean the acting is there but she's her physical appearance looks so young for me for this tackling role.
Zendaya is not a good actress lol. It sound like she is reading every time she speaks. She is vastly overrated.
@@jarredah she is a good actor. If u think she’s overrated then ok but not a good actor? That’s a Stretch. U should see her acting in euphoria
@@jsiabot3467 No thanks, I’m not a high school girl lol. That show is terrible. And so is she
This is how a cast of 2 people can take the movie in a confined house. Minimal cuts, uncut emotions and overflowing individual personalities. I prefer to believe this in a real sense, in real life. This was exactly what a 2:00 AM fight looks like in real time. Appreciate the art!
I truly need the whole scene where she talks about insecurity in relationships. That was amazing.
That bathtub scene, it felt personal. It hurt my feelings and I'm not even in the relationship.
" You want ctrl, cause you can't imagine that the reason I am with you is because I love you". man
Their lines were so powerful !! What struck me HARD was that their lines and words held more power when they were speaking quietly.. in a low volume. The impact was just BAM !! That's some acting 🙏❤️
RIGHT!!!
The amount of hurting one another in this 1,5 h movie might be a world record
I really appreciate every single person in this comment section who allowed themselves to sit with this film and appreciate it for what it is 💞.
this was so incredibly good character writing jesus
"I can snap you like a twig" *screams in heartbreak*
Zendaya is just phenomenal in everything she does. I love her!
They BOTH brought their A game. PHENOMENAL, POWERFUL, performances. 🤗🤗🤗
The best writing I’ve seen in a long time !! 😍
Both of them made great point. But remember in a relationship when a fight occurs its not you vs them its you and them vs the problem (stolen i have no idea who to credit tho)
I learned a new word today Solipsism is the theory that only the self is real and that the self cannot be aware of anything else except itself. An example of solipsism is the idea that nothing matters except yourself.
At 1.15, Malcolm's love confession reminds me of Burke, complaining and confessing his love for Christina (Grey's Anatomy)...the scene after Burke found out that while Christina moved in with him, she never gave up her apartment.
Omg this is what I was thinking as well. I was trying to pinpoint it but couldn’t.
This movie is so real it's unreal
Master piece. Love this movie, cry with happyness and love. Amazing job by both actors. I saw myself in them.
which movie??
“Don’t push away the people who ground you” mmm a word
We all are so excited to wacth zendaya in the movie, I feel this will her best work as an actor!
This reminds me so much of my ex and I miss him so much that it's excruciating. He was so bent on creating a good impression on guests that came to visit that he never for once considered when I didn't want to see anyone or attend to anyone. Whenever we had a guest, I had to entertain them, whether I felt like or not, whether I was fine or not.
wait, but you do understand that movie is portraying heavily unhealthy and toxic relationship, right?
Let’s us give a 👏 to both of their acting, and that can happen in real life
why isn't "but I'm stuck with it, Malcom" on here?
I'm so obsessed but I also don't ever want to watch this movie again.but also play it again.
Funny thing is I watched this around 2 or 3 because I couldn’t sleep and I was FLOORED. It was an amazing film and I enjoyed it immensely
Love the movie💕🔥🔥. Sums up a toxic relationship. Zendaya and David nailed it! Bring on the awards. 😘😘
Never thought we’d get a Netflix movie talking about the hypocritical holier than thou lectures we get during award ceremonies, damn.
Incredible
Amazing
GIVE THESE TWO THEIR OSCARS !!!!
Such a beautiful movie
Where’s the Issa Rae interview with Zendaya John David and Sam? I keep seeing it’s supposed to be on Netflix and I can’t find it.
Brilliant 🎥 Oscar please🙌🏾
The bathtub scene hurt MY feelings and he wasn’t even talking to me.
The last sentence... that's 100% my problem. If I don't perceive myself as necessary for someone, I immediately fear they'll drop me. So I flaunt my talents like a peacock, exhausting everyone around me, myself included. It's annoying and cringe, but at least I see it now, so I hope that means I'll be able to work on it now.
If I wanted to hear two people argue, I’d just go relive my childhood🤣🤣🤣🤣
I will be seeing this.. As I have a health appreciation for words.. He said Featherweight..
Malcolm and Marie look surprisingly similar to John legend and Chrissy teigen
This is reality!
This movie. They don't say like a twig around here.
Zendaya was so beautiful in that film
Yes, but she's always looks beautiful.
Where is the videos in portuguese netflix????? Brazil needs this videos
This movie made me thankful I am single and maybe I will stay that way.
Same bro i don’t believe in true love
What? It made me think of the exact opposite
That’s how they (cry together)
Deep
Netflix way do we pay
Ahhhh first comment!! 1 min ago!
Sounds like a very Very dysfunctional relationship
Solipsistic ? Who uses that word! I need to look that up apparently I’m ignorant !
Are they mad?
😂😂😂
The abusive insults are “powerful” ?
.
eh
Most pretentious cringe worthy boring film ever watch. Toxic shaming and yet she still in the picture...... 🙄 I like Zendaya this is hard.
Pov:t'as regardé le film shooté au xanax
Nothing at all against the actors in the movie but this film is very pretentious lol. Who talks like this 😂
that girl could use a sandwhich
and you need shut the fck up and mind your own buisness instead of bodyshaming people
Yet she’s more successful than you? And she admits in towards the end of the film, SHE KNOWS. Nothing sells more than disgust. That’s what gets the clicks.
U cringe
@@felixwahlberg532 Successful people do babe, it’s this generation that’s malicious.
@@felixwahlberg532 It is pathetic and you are contributing. I am grateful babe, I have gratitude. Now go along with your day, have a great one. Muah.
I really hated the dialogue tbh. The acting was mediocre.
Bad casting. Good lines. Too young or out of touch with the characters.
Why this useless movie exists??🙄
It's not useless. Lmfao but your hate comment is
