I hope this is true! I’m tired of getting into lobbies and there are lvl 7981, 7982, 1096, etc. just either griefing you or ruining the game for everybody else. What should happen if they get caught is ban the IP address for that game system.
Some of them werent their fault. As for 1096, yes, those are legit who played game for years... Im 911 and there has been double rp on missions, heists etc. Playing since x360 in 2014.
Bought a modded account with 1 bill for $15 and bought everything in the game pretty much for like 500M that’s including customizing cars,apartments,special vehicles,weapons,all war stock vehicles. Wasn’t bad while it lasted lmao glad I only spent $15 ( and no I never griefed people) but screw grinding one game for that many years 💀

I've been playing since 2014 and just now hit a level 1000 it's about time Rockstar did something about it.
This is why I’ve never modded! I can understand doing it on a separate account for fun but on your main playing account it’s just silly.

I think this was just a test for gta 6. Rockstar knows players are going to try bringing that mod stuff to gta 6. I think they just tightening up rn. If rockstar really felt some way about the mod accounts they would’ve done this years ago.
I had fun buying as much stuff and just driving around without needing to grind. But yeah I am not shocked nor surprised that it's happening. It has been a long run as I had my acc for almost 3 years but I'm fine with it tbh

I got banned but at the same time, I wasn’t a greifer. I only used my money to buy cars. It sucks because I should’ve been legit but I get it, only thing that bugs me is that rockstar is doing all of this towards the end of gta 5’s life cycle as gta 6 is around the corner.

@Oceanic.Airlines Modded acc been out for awhile, it ain't stupid. What's stupid is actually spending time on GTA Online cause they scamming you with all these heists nerfing and making every vehicle 8mil. The game isn't fun when nothing pays out.

I have a legit account but the reason I switched was because not everyone has time to slave their life away on gta to make virtual money. People have jobs, doesn’t make sense to work a 9 hour shift then hop on gta for another 9 hours to grind money, especially since the game is over a decade old now. But again maybe you see the appeal in grinding the same missions over and over again, but I and many other just don’t see the fun in that.
Rockstar needs a system that checks account legitimacy. If the account is a few years old, and they are rank 350-500, thats ok. But if its created a year ago and is over 1,000, thats an instant ban.
You can be level 1200 and be legit. I have a friend who’s played the game since launch, is an Xbox ambassador, and is so good at playing the game. He likes to one shot sweats with the Musket, which is so funny watching.

I have noticed the difference. All the xbox series x and s servers are just littered with low levels now and no more modded accounts.
This is also true for Xbox one. There are still some, but it’s much more rare. I see one or two every dozen servers.

The only time Rockstar ever did "a" legit ban wave was that apartment glitch (made players millions every couple minutes from what ive remembered) that spread all over Tiktok in 2020. That was the first time I've heard of a glitch that worked, and obvious reasons the first time Rockstar actually did a serious ban wave for PC, and that was it. Nothing more. Just to save their precious microtransactions policy they got going on. lmao

Rockstar worked around the clock and patched this money glitch within hours, and then chose to target all players with an illegitimate amount of money in GTA Online (preferrably over 100 mill or so) just to add salt into the wound, thats how desperate they are :/

I personally don’t mind people modding and stuff, that’s their choice and risk to take, but it gets annoying when those people start messing around with other players(me) in an online lobby… you suddenly get teleported into a room (and killed most of the times) or they modify your character or vehicles… just leave other random players the F alone.

I had 2 modded accounts. I used them to test things that I've seen other players ask questions about. Like when the Riot Van was first released, I bought one on one of those accounts and tried to enter different properties to test out if Warstock was lying to us that we can modify it in a property that we own. I even had the Christmas livery cars in my Chop shop waiting to buy them IF Rockstar added the option to purchase previously acquired chop shop contract cars so I can tell people that it is or isn't possible BUT, my 3 legit accounts are still good. So now I can focus on playing GTA on those 3 legit accounts

I'm also worried tho, because I don't use those cheats for Online (PC version FYI), duplications or whatever... But I do remember that some modders gave me A LOT OF FREEROAM COLLECTIBLES (including "endless" 9999 ammo for standard weapons) where I got additional money for those action movie figures, Solomon's stuff and Lamar's organics for nothing. Like does that count even I didn't ask for it, or what?

The funny thing is this game is hilariously easy now to get money in compared to 2013 when I started. Anyone complaining is a total loser lol. Grinding is easy AF now. No excuse to use modded accounts.
Not everyone wants to grind. Yes, it's easier now, but it's still a grind. Some people want to enjoy the vehicles and just have fun without the grind for money and maybe don't have time for it but want to play with friends. 10mil shark card is $100. $10 BILLION on a modded account is $15.

Naw that is not a good way … for example I have been selling all my cars ( one at a time) due to the selling restriction. They have been bought by me playing the game as it should.
@@5324TuiG of course it's a good way how is it possible for someone with 100rp to have 1B or more. there are players that have played since late 2013 with 1000+ rp that have 1 to 2 billion, probably on average 1.5B that's legit. explain how its possible for someone with only 100RP to have 1billion? or 500RP to have 5 billion from only legit play outside of buying shark cards which we know nobody is spending that kind of money although I'm sure they technically could and they know that and would take that into consideration too but its' not the norm
There will still be chaos in public lobbies but at least if someone picks a fight with you, they won't be in God mode.
I used to be a legitimate GTA Online player, but I was compelled to install a mod menu due to the exorbitant prices of vehicles and properties. I don't have the time to spend hours each week purchasing a basic vehicle. Since installing the mod menu, I can now access all the features of the game, so I won't deny myself that enjoyment

Great! Avoid cheating or exploiting money glitches. I got reset once for exploiting a money glitch, unaware of their reset or ban policy, but I certainly learned my lesson.
What if the money exploitation is rockstars fault? For example letting the cluckin bell final mission able to be put into a custom playlist on it own and play it without running the setups multiple times for $500k each time? That’s rockstars fault is it not as it’s no different from playing any job in any playlist back to back?
@@SlayrGames98 Rockstar may be doing this intentionally to catch cheaters and ban them, thereby potentially encouraging them to purchase shark cards.

I did the cluckin bell mission a couple times and I still haven’t heard from rockstar yet but I also didn’t abuse it and I left at least a hour gap inbetween doing it 2 times back to back and only made 5mil from it
@SlayrGames98 I've done the same. Anyone can do the Clucking Bell mission back to back without any issues because Rockstar set it up that way. As long as you're not using glitches to make money, you should be fine.
@@poldariser8686 all I did was put the final Cluckin Bell mission into a playlist and then started another single mission playlist, backed out of that one then started the final for cluckin playlist and it let me run the final back to back making the 500k each time, I don’t see that being a glitch or breaking the game but I dunno

I use mods, and I log in just to do the rigged casino slots because everything is too expensive to even consider spending on sharkcards. I don't know if I will get banned too but I guess I will just stop playing the game if I get banned. Won't even bother to use another account to unlock gta online again.
Rockstar taking care of "dupped accounts' stats and collections" for only 2 of their 5 GTA Online games out of the blue moon just makes me wonder who at rockstar only woke up on the wrong side of the bed and managed to inhale 20% of the coffee fumes one morning and said "Oh yeah, we need to fix our precious Gta online on ps5 and xbox x/s" (forgetting PC exists with its own issues since the dawn of time)
