I bought it on day one with Benny's wheels, Yankton plates and neon for over 6 million at the car meet. Too much but it does look sweeeet. It isn't supposed to have neon so I can't change the color tho.

@@shawnshawn3107Not really because with inflation you make more money but things cost more to buy. Rockstar doesn't allow you to make more money they just raise the prices. A fast food worker making 18-20hr was unheard of 10 years ago, but so was an $18 meal combo.

I bought the interceptor after I did the raid so I only paid 4 million also. It was worth it for the fact that ppl in free mode will actually pull over for a traffic stop. Thanks for the video Oompa Loompa…❤

The facility and arena war workshops seem like good spots for cop cars. While the utility of it is not worth $5M, people are willing to spend that much just for the novelty of owning a custom cop muscle car. If it had Need 4 Speed pursuit tech: forward mounted EMP launcher, spike mines, helicopter support, roadblock request, then it would be worth $5M

The difference of 3 and 4 for sirens is when sirens are off on 4 the sirens are like a grey and 3 there red and blue with sirens off
Agree. For 4 million, just not enough there to draw me in. Vigilante missions would’ve made it worth it though.

You should have added "if you're a beginner". Of course theres better vehicles but for veteran players, we have everything by now and the Gauntlet is a nice add-on to that.

Met a group doing *vigilante roleplay* with these cars, I asked to join them and it was some of the most fun I've had in gta legit ^^
The jeep is my new favorite vehicle and I'm not even a jeep person. It can carry 4 ppl, handles extremely well, nice speed, goes offroad superb, looks realistic. I hope they never nerf it because Rockstar finally added a good feeling vehicle in the game. It's finally fun just driving to mission locations again instead of using the oppressor. And the jeep gets imani tech! No radar lock-on, and the imani armor plates don't look gawdy at all.

3 n 4 for siren is speed of lights I had my buddy watch behind the car as I was customizing it
It’s for the color of the light bar. One is all white when off and the other is colored. I already submitted it to the Reddit.
It's the color, not the speed.
The lights 3 has colored glass so when the lights aren't flashing it will appear red and blue but with lights 4 the glass is clear so when it is off there is no color on the lightbar

The difference on the fourth and fifth light-bar is when you don’t have the light-bar on its all white or have blue on the left and red on the right 🙃

Difference in 'Emergency Lighting 3/4' is the glass on top is dyed red and blue, while the other one is just non-dyed. You can see it when the emergency lights are off.
The difference between lightbar three and lightbar four is only visible when the lights are turned off. Lightbar 3 has blue and red lenses that are visible when the lights are off. Lightbar 4 has clear lenses, better for stealth builds.
I'll wait for the 40% off deal, if that ever happens for this car.
I got it on launch day it was pretty good like 98 out of 100
If they had an HSW upgrade to give it a top speed of at least 140mph it would be worth $5mil. Some HSW cars are still faster than that but the fastest non-HSW don't go much above 130mph and the current fully upgraded Gauntlet Interceptor only gets to about 120mph.
i believe the pfistern 811 does 132 mph

What it really needs to make it the ultimate cop car is an onboard donut dispenser.
If you use the cop car and the magnum for assassination missions, it's like recreating the movie Magnum Force.
The siren doesn't have that long of a range. So some cars don't pull over, and some that are turning stop in the middle of the road

It's a sick joke from rockstar. This car can literally be stripped down to a basic hellfire with inside lights. They could have easily just added an upgrade option to the hellfire. Same thing with the park ranger. As a lifeguard car, it's cheap 800,000. Make it a park ranger and it's now 3 million?

I saw this car in a public lobby in December 2023, a couple months before this car was released. It was owned by a hacker who kept following me and dropping action figures on my head
This car is good if you have money to blow just to flex that you have it. I used the Canis Terminus to complete all the setup missions for the Clucking Bell Raid today and it was awesome. Best car to be released in ages and in my opinion, also the best car for setting up the new raid. It’s very fast, has amazing handling and in Imani Tech so has tough bullet resistant windows. My new favourite car in the game.

So the interceptor police car is like buying a super yacht or the golden jet plane. It’s for your entertainment and fun time rides only.
The question should be why is everything in the game priced stupidly expensive. $400,000 for a lame Taxi cab. $1,320,000 for a Trans Am. $30,000 for a tank top. The answer to the question is simple, R* is encouraging shark card sales. They know people are going to want the cop version of the Gauntlet so they priced it so absurdly high that broke players will fork out the cash on a shark card just to get it. The entire economy in the game is broken. If prices were this crazy in real life more than half of the country would be in financial hardship.
I think the price is so high is because it's a warstock vehicle. If it was on any other dealership site it would cost like 2.5 mil
The kosatka is 2,200,000 and the vigilante is 3,750,000 in warstock.
You have to press and hold the right bumper and trigger then let go of the right bumper but still hold the trigger for a bit to make the wheelie happen

@@nathanbrisebois8756 correct yes the interceptor is emergency class but it is a fun vehicle has decent top speed and acceleration looks really nice but wish they had the Imani tech technology available for it that would make it cooler also if it had a how upgrade it would be the coolest vehicle yet in gta but my favorite vehicle is the terminus new jeep ! I just love this thing has great acceleration good top speed looks awesome and goes off road seemingly better than on ! Has the Imani tech you can add so that makes it even cooler idk why its not a how vehicle also its like the monstrositi so idk why they didn't have it a hsw car
the wheelie bar is to stop wheelie so it does not flip over or loose balance to stay strait when drag racing
I have the regular Hellfire already so I don't need the Interceptor and TBH - nobody needs the Interceptor if you can buy the regular Hellfire for far less. Quite frankly? Just buy the regular one + any now available cop car and you can have the police sirene experience just to find out it is not really helping much. And additionally you have ZERO protection against any MKII or griefers in general. All you have is an overpriced short term hype of a car. If you want to save money on the cop car purchase then call 911 on your phone and steal the police car coming to your location. Does the same job but for zero money. However I will buy the Interceptor one day. When it is on sale. Or as a reward for some race or whatever. And everyone else shoudl do the same which would soon lead to a price reduction caused by a lack of purchase interest. *But what I miss the most* is that we finally get police cars yet we can do basically NOTHING with them. No arrest, no RP, no PVP interaction that would make any sense, nothing. It is like a battery operated toy and the battery inside that toy is the last one ever produced on the whole earth.
Look. For 5 mil. There are better things to get cars out of your way. Get arena war. Buy the car that looks like an old school 4 door Bentley. Take it to upgrade. Turn it into a massive 6 wheel truck. Put a blade on the front. Also has mines and a jump ability. And boost. And when ya hit a car it flys. It’s better in my opinion than the wedge when you’re using it for the bunker delivery. Especially with mines and jump, players in vehicles can never catch you cuz you mine them and they lose power for a few seconds. Plus ya can jump fences and freeways.
I’m not spending 5m on that POS. 5m for a cop car that doesn’t do anything is blasphemy. If everyone stop spending money on these ridiculous car prices, they might start to go down.
oh also for the lighting, considering you seem to be in front of a window you don’t need the extra lights necessarily, but if you wanna correct the orange tint you could add some cooler tones in the lights if possible or by color grading your video in the editing
If u take everything off like the sirens and all the equipment on it. Feels a little bit faster for the police car
In the past 5 months, there have only been two 2x money bonuses for businesses. Both for the acid lab. At this rate, we'll have about 4 of those before GTA 6 comes out. And people still wait with their full warehouses, bless their hearts...

@4:44 Yeah, I also didn't see the difference between emergency Lights 3 and 4 but I looked closer at it and I see that light 3 has the red and blue light colors and 4 don't have the red and blue light colors
I usually keep the hood stock on muscle cars so it doesn't have a loose caboose.
I would have it drop spike strips and if you have bulletproof tires the spike strips would work like oil slick mines. I would also equip a lock on jammer it would take two rockets it would have vigilante missions and a front gun that shoots a short distance emp beam. Spot lights could also rotate.
90% of gta players have absolutely garbage taste when it comes to customizing vehicles 😭😭

Imagine if they had a stealth option on the car. You’d have to upgrade the stealth module for the car by adding new content to bunker research. Press the siren and you go off radar
The emergency lightening difference between 3 and 4 is the back of the light bar itself one has orange lights in the bar as well and the blue and red have a different sequence

I'll buy it after I complete the heist. Been busy, but halfway through the set up missions. Why will I buy it? Because it's a police gauntlet interceptor, and that's reason enough. Not like I'm hurting for money. As for you being orange, that's the least of my concerns.
My daily for everything rn is the hotring hellfire and it’s my fav at the moment. How do you guys like this interceptor compared to that in terms of bang for your buck?
Just had a guy chase me around with one of these for like 30 minutes as we played cat and mouse games. He was dressed up in the full sheriff get up too. Eventually I decided to pull over to see what would happen, he walked up, started dancing to my music, then tried to shoot me 😂 Some of the most fun I’ve had in GTA in a long time

My Interceptor cost me full price cos I didn't do the heist yet. The car is matt black all over and has side mounted exhausts, the full bullbar and lights, spotlights and all the lights pointing forwards have blacklight bulbs which is surreal at night. Personally I think the car should be faster and would be even better if we could give it an HSW upgrade. I have nearly all the HSW cars and bikes, so the Interceptor would be a worthy addition.
Nobody seems to understand wheelie bars aren’t for holding wheelies it’s for the drag strip. Having a lot of horsepower in a RWD car send your shit into wheelie mode if it’s fast enough and that bar helps put your front back down so can still steer and not wheelie into something someone or flip the car
The movie line, it’s the last of the V8 interceptors comes to mind😅 If you’re going to go full rebel on it you should at least Mad Max thing and paint it all black. According to some of the testing it’s slower than the stock version

I really wanted cop/vig missions. I thought that was the reason for the heavy price tag. Love the cruiser but prolly wont pick it up unless we get missions with it. But knowing rockstar you'll have to unlock some internal parts which cost another 35mill
Ok, so Im wondering if these cars work on the popstar payphone hit? Theres one where you need to steal a police car and chase down someone in it. Wondering if it works? I know if you have the truck version of the mission, you HAVE to use the one it tells you to get.

I'm not sure because it's been awhile since I've played story mode. It actually might even be the previous GTA, but if you got into a police car you were able to do vigilante missions. I'm going to have to go look it up now. It would be a nice feature. 🤘🌮🤘

The Problem with The Gauntlet interceptor is that its Not Faster than The Gauntlets Thats been in the Game... And it Can't take 2 Homing Missiles, 4 homing Missiles is the Least Other Muscle Cars Take.. 2 Homings is Fair enough don't need to take 3 if it doesn't have Weapons.... And the Other Major Problem with the Police Gauntlet interceptor is that is the Computer inside Doesn't Work.... And The Other Major Problemis the the vehicle size, it feels smaller than the STX Muscle Cars that run off Power instead of Gas.... Another major issue is the Police Livery They're so Terrible compared to the St stainer cruiser police car livery.... And the other major issue is the customizations they're so bad and we should have had more Customizations.... 😶 Last but not Least The Gauntlet interceptor doesn't have enough Room inside, My character is 7 feet Tall and she gets into the vehicle Slowly as for My passengers they get into the car faster than Me always.... 🤦💯 Lets be Real The Car is supposed to be bigger and its supposed to have Maximum Top Speed, its supposed to be faster than the T20 and its supposed to take 2 Homing missiles due to it being 5 mill....😶 Only in GTA online @RockStarGames can get away with selling players unfinished Vehicles. Logic 😂.. but overall i like the Gauntlet interceptor but it was Not worth waiting 5 months for.... 😶 We need most of these cars to work and Work Properly and im not going to Lie when i bought the gauntlet interceptor it felt faster than the Max out Zentorno but after 2 hours i noticed the Vehicle speed magically Changing from Fast to Slower than the Everyday Street Buffalo car players can steal off NPC's... idk it was like Rockstar dramatically changed the car speed and made it slower....🤔 When i looked at some KZheadrs Test driving the one they got Early their Gauntlet interceptor was Alot faster than Mine and they they didn't even do that Muscle car Speed Glitch where the car fell like its going 300 mph.... 😶 Lets Hope RockstarGames Max out the Gauntlet interceptor Police Car because its Really just... 😶 Un Acceptable fr despite the minimal Car Customizations... 🤦 We need some Speed to Vehicle uts Shine Back......🤦 Also how Tf do Anything Cost 4 mill+ and can't take any explosions but the there's muscle cars that Tank 4 RPGs and 10 homing missiles only for 1 mill? .. please fix the Logic Rockstar... R* easily could have just added the light bars and liveries to the already existing one so it can still do wheelies and actually be fast. Other than the novelty factor the Interceptor is an exorbitantly priced rip-off
Yeah using the cop car on the raid missions should work but when you're shooting or being shot at npc cars will still go nuts and turn into you. What I have been doing on the raid missions myself is running around on a bike, drag or upgraded akuma (more manuverable). It's too bad the cop cars in general won't let you pass yourself off as a cop that could have been fun
The difference between lightbar 3 & 4 is subtle and stupid. When the blue light isn't active, #3 is a darker blue. #4 is almost the same color as when the light is on
The rear lights in the rear windows would 100%, be option 4 for the police lights, I took option 2 and I don't have them.
Because npcs more out of ur way when u come through with sirens The sirens r awesome N you feel like a badas** but only when fully upgraded
Just get the regular cop car for cheaper. They'll still move. Not worth the ⁴to⁵ mill tho imo. So much better out there and if you just want it to clear traffic and flex, the old-school retired crown vics do the job. That jeep though!!!!

Can you add any HSW upgrades to it. Or Imani Tec oooorrrrr lol arena war upgrades. And is anything available for upgrade in the facility near the wind farm we have the same one I believe.

As a big fan of muscle cars and all I wouldn't buy it unless it were cheaper. I mean the only new stuff you're getting from that car compared to the gauntlet hellfire (which is only 750k) is the police accessories (lights and stickers). I however do like that the sirens make npc cars move out the way.
A wheelie bar is to prevent a car from doing wheelies or flipping over in the case of a wheelie, not to perform wheelies bro and also help turn the vehicle at high speeds, I dont know how that all applies in game tho
for the game it’s just cosmetic. you can’t make this thing wheelie if you tried and it doesn’t help handling corners either. i think it’s just to add drag race looking cosmetics along with the race/police liveries with sponsor stickers and all that you’d see on a track car.
I didn't go for the boring black&white with my build. I decided to make it look as close to my state police car colors as possible.
Back in old GTA when you steal police car, loose cops, you can make police missions....
I just wanna point out the difference between the emergency lights 3 and 4 The emergency lights 3 is just the new model added The emergency lights 4 is the same model but adds a new sirens when you double tap hold the sirens by pressing E on the keyboard or Left Thumbstick on the controller

Looks great, the spoiler does look like tokyo drift and would be awesome on a skyline but kills this car for sure, i had to go black on .. white with mine. Note:black on black on everywhip 🙌
Also, you can double clutch to make up for the iffy acceleration

I wish Rockstar in the career challenge would list every heist setup and how long it took you on time so you have a reference as to how over or under you are for the 45 minute time limit for the whole heist. Problem is I do the setups with my hsw drag bike I think I'm going really fast but I don't really know how long it's taking me because I have no timer other than my phone.
