Beautiful 😃 Making decisions along the way, and then come up with the "final solution"
That's often how I make stuff, with just a general idea to start with.
Great work, as always. It's not all about knives and axes. I hope blacksmithing continues to grow.
So much work for something so simple
A beautiful tulip candlestick. Simple yet elegant.
From noise and fire, smoke and sparks comes something graceful and serene. Beautiful!

That new power hammer really kicks ass!
+justfakeit888 Yes, there is power behind the blows... Easy to mess up if your not careful. :)
I look forward to another one of your videos. Really enjoy seeing something useful be created out of nothing.
This video was a treat to watch. Thank you from Minneapolis Minnesota.
+arty359 I second your comment - I am also from Minneapolis.
Haha same. My classmates find it weird that I enjoy learning about forging and welding, however it's so beautiful and I hope I can one day try it out myself.
I like your approach to your work, the steps involved and the process. You have a good eye for sure. I've said it before and I say again, you're a true craftsman.
Beautiful. Elegant. Simple. Well done.
Beautiful as always!
Simple elegant design. Love it.
Thank you for sharing your skill and how too do things. I have been in and out of the shop for 30 years as health and my back permits. currently working on a set of fireplace tools for a huge fireplace with heads. Great skill set.

A masterpiece of beauty
Things of beauty and grace: the process and the product. Wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
10* Beautiful, easy made product.
That is a very elegant candlestick, great looking project.
I see how one could use a similar process to make the socket for a socket chisel. Fantastic video, as always. Thank you.
+Curoi MacDaire Thanks! Yes, it's the same process, but for a chisel socket you probably should overlap the edges and weld them together.
fine work. Thank you.
Been waiting for a new video forever! Yay!
That's amazing thanks.
Very nice proportions in the candlestick. It is good to see you back with a new video. :-)

That drilled out hammer head is genious...! Gonna steal that idea, hehe! =P
Ha ha, yes it looks like that, but it's actually a tool made from scratch for this application
Amazing
I spent this whole video looking at the candle stick upside down until he set it to burn a candle at the end. lol I thought the cone shape was gonna be the bottom. beautiful work. Love your videos.

you are master! I immediately remembered that Christmas was coming soon! )))
In some cities East of Siberia boiled metal vertical rack and on all sides привариваю short pipe diameter 1/2 - 3/4 inches. Then cut FIR branches and inserted in the side short pipes. Get simulation live Christmas tree. And Forest did not hurt and children are satisfied)))
Verry verry Nice job.pat from Belgium 🔪

Really great, as others already said, it's sad we can't see more videos more often :p But the quality is there thank you !
+Raaampage Thanks
I'd imagine you could have a lot of fun by turning that into a sculpture. I think you could make something that looks like it belongs in a Tim Burton movie
que buen video!
+Miguel Antonio Altuve Febres Thanks!
Damn you're good Torbjörn. thanks to you I've decided to start blacksmithing myself!
Keep it up!
Åh, tack så mycket!
that power hammer.
Faan så snygg! Vackert arbete som vanligt :)
+Marcus Nystrom Tackarrrr!
снимай чаще ! молодец !
simplesmente lindo...
Hej Torbjörn, mycket bra arbeite. Du Arbe som en Proffs. Dina kunskaper är utmärkta. Jag hoppas vi kann träffas snart. Hälsningar fr. Tyskland.
+elchschmiede Hej!! Tack! Ja, det vore mycket trevligt.
I always look forward to seeing the next project, this one is amazing in that it takes the violence of hammer blows and creates something graceful. Question....if you accidentally thin out a piece too much (which there are no such things as accidents right?) is it recoverable? Thank you so much for sharing!
+God's Touch Ministry The River's Edge Thanks! If thinned out too much it's usually beyond repair. If you're drawing out and the work piece still is in "bar shape", you often can upset it back.
The candle holder is elegant. how do you like the new power hammer?
+Paul Krzysz Thanks. It's working alright I think. There is a problem with the lower die mount, which is not done in a good way. There is a "new" mount made to fit anyang 75kg dies. I have to fix that somehow in the future. I can't wedge the die as tight as it should be....
🇧🇷😎👍 que peça linda 👏👏👏👏
Looks amazing what was it you were rubbing on it at the end
Thanks. Linseed oil!
riktigt bra video! god jul!
+viktor Rygielski Tack det samma!
Muito Bom torbjorn parabens muito bom gosto BlacsksmithBrazil
+Blacksmith Brazil Thanks!
Good work I love it too Is this oil of a certain type for use And what kind of oil
I use linseed oil for the black finish.
Den nya hammaren verkar vara en bra investering. :) Jösses, den hanterar materialet som om det vore kakdeg!
+dixonqwerty Jo, man får passa sig, lätt att göra bort sig fort :)
very cool!!!!!
I'd love to see this now with a couple of years of wax dripping down it.
Nice. You could also make the "shaft" twisted, but that's up to personal preference i guess
+Daniel Thu Yes, there are numerous design possibilities!
очень красиво вышло
Verry nice would be kinda hard to do without the power hammer what did you coat it with at the end to give it the dark finish
+renemanjr123 Thanks. Yes the bottom part is hard to do, but it's easy to come up with a different design for that. It's linseed oil for the finish.
Snyggt.
