Torbjorn, my son just returned after 5 months hiking the length of New Zeland. We spent last Friday in my shop catching up. We made a few of your candle trays as well as a platoon of your Christmas Gnomes. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration! We had a wonderful time of it. Su Amigo!
Wow, that's a long hike! Great to hear that! Thanks.
That hardy tool at 6:16 is real nice.
Haha, I laughed out loud by myself when I realized half your video is about making the tools for actually making the candle holder. Impressed as always Björn!
I like how you show how to make the jigs as well for quick and uniform production.
I had a dumb moment there for a bit.I was like" that doesn't look like the picture" then I figured out you were making the tools to make the holder. Very nice.
+Ak Grizzly Man Thanks. :)
Keep putting out the great videos my friend.
+Ak Grizzly Man I'll try!
You are the wizard of working metal. Beautiful to watch. Wonderful.
simple as this tealight candle holder is it has a beauty about it thats some how so different and appealing than most other tealight candle holders. added to that you have given it a refined quality a lot of iron work misses. maybe its just the magic of candle light but i kind of feel you have added some sort of magic to this job.
Outstanding work! I liked the fact that you had to make a tool that would be used to complete the project! Those are something my wife would use!!
you are a man of candles
Started smiling after you punched the cavity for the candle with the power hammer. There you could actually see how hard the hammer hits. Couple smacks and there it is. There's no way that anyone could hit that hard even with a heavy..ish sledgehammer. Nice video once again Torbjörn!
+DraGma Thanks! This is only 5mm plate...you probably could manage by hand on this, but it's nice to be able to do it quick and without multiple heats.
Mycket snygga. Tack för inspirationen 😃
Tack!
Such beautiful and tasteful videos!!!
Just about to begin my journey into blacksmithing as a hobby. Welder by trade, and absolutely love anything metal. Your channel has so many fantastic videos that are truly an inspiration. Thanks for the work you put into the videos, and for sharing! Sub'd your channel and giving thumbs up to your vids as I watch!
Thank you very much!
Words cannot explain how well these videos are made! Greetings from Germany!
Thank you very much!!
Thank you , Great design Its good that you showed how you " tooled up " for the project you were making because alot of folks dont understand how much extra work goes into pieces .
Indeed, thanks!
These are beautiful. You almost treat this kind of stuff as art rather than anything else.
TheAceGamingDemon it is called decorative blacksmithing
What a nice project!
What a great idea. Looks great and Thanks.
Thanks for showing us the tool-making process! It was really interesting
simple and still sophisticated, with a true rustic feel to the workmanship! Quite something to see you first create the specialized tools and then the product for which they were intended. Fantastiskt mysiga ljushållare!
+branbeggrify Thank you! Tack!
This guy is simply a genius. only wish I had a mind to be able to come up with ideas to create such beautiful pieces. thank you very much for sharing. I love black smithing and thoroughly enjoy watching someone who knows how to do it so well. God Bless

Very nice, thank you for taking the time to make videos. The more I watch the more I learn
Thanks!
God Jul to Torbjörn and family and all swedes.
God what a pleasure it is seeing someone who knows what they are doing, work. Another great video and a very attractive tealight holder. I love the simplicity of the tooling. I may try one of these myself.
+Scott Rich Thanks! Yes, go ahead, it's not that complicated and the final setdown is probably manageable by hand even.
God put in your hands such kind of talent,
Oh, thanks!
Beautiful as always!
These look great. A little ring/adapter in the middle that would let you also use candlesticks with them would be awesome. Super beefy but a touch of class at the same time, my kind of decor. Now make a set of matching napkin rings so I can get the set!
+liveepically Thanks! Good idea with napkin rings, probably quite easy to pull off.
A simple and beautiful design fashioned by a true craftsman. thank you for sharing.
+Jim Robb Thanks!
You sir, are a real artisan.
Thank you Torbjorn!! Beautiful work and great music to cap it off. Couldn't tell the difference between the two! Love the tooling to make them with such deft hands! ~PJ

I had not seen this. Lovely. As always.
If the person doesn't like candles, tell them it's a very ornate muffin holder.
+PKKShadow :)
Excellent work. Your videos are always informative and well made.
+sibco96 Thanks
i like watching the old way of blacksmithing, where if you don't have the tool for the job... you just make it.
Absolutely amazing. Love your videos.
Thanks!
Very inspiring Torbjörn!
+Cezaam69 Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. You always do such beautiful work.
+Richard Cherry Thanks!
Great job there.
So cool. Thanks for sharing!
Your videos are always so entertaining to watch, and the end results of your works are always surprisingly beautiful. I find it funny that from such brute force pieces of art like these are made, i guess that's the beauty of blacksmithing. Keep up the awesome work and happy christmas!
+avaiboot Thank you!
Very nice my friend!
Simply Elegant
Torbjorn! I was making my 8th candle holder and drove the tool completely through the plate! Surprised the shit out of me! My family loves the holders! The shit not so much.
Ha ha, yes you have to take it a bit easy... I have cracked one or two as well. I think it depends on how smooth you make the bottom ring, so the material can travel down without catching.
That's pretty rockin' man.
Simple yet beautiful :)
So much beautiful!!
Stunning work! I reckon this experiment was a great success!
+Emile Theart :) Yes, it came out better than expected even.
