"It's a rediculous looking car" is the most unintentionally honest thing I've heard an owner say.
I'm convinced that everyone says it's worth it, just trying to convince themselves when they know deep down it's not.
It's like when people go white water rafting, have a miserable time, but agree to tell everyone it was great to not look stupid.
The outside appearance of that thing is enough for me not to get one.
Buyers remorse for buying a $100,000 commuter. Trendy toys are expensive and lessons are hard.
Everyone who hesitates when asked how much down is totally lying. You don’t just forget how much you put down 😂
Probably not. I don't 100% remember how much I put down on it. I'd say around $30k but ended up getting tired of monthly payments and just payed it off 1-2 months later so kind of cash I guess. It is something that can be kind of forgotten 6 years later if you got a lot of stuff going on in your life.

Why do people buy Ferraris, or bigger homes than they need, or a big truck, or spend their money traveling too much, how bout live and let live. The America dream is not longer buy a house and live it until you die. Overpriced homes to begin with. People can do whatever they want with their money.

$120K a year salary and $1600 a month payments. Something is not right. How can you not know how much you put down on the vehicle? The other numbers pop right out of their mouths, but they all become forgetful how much they put down on a $100K purchase. Real Pickup owners don't purchased the vehicle on how fast it can go 0-60. The Tesla people will never admit anything is wrong with the vehicle. It is a human nature to not want to admit you spent all of that money and there are issues. You want to justify your purchase.
The nurse practitioner said he works in surgery. He said it varies. He probably being cautious of the statement. He is making at least 180k not including bonus. This I know for sure.
Normal US consumer who bought things for the attention value, but really can't afford it. Go back a few years and interview them and see how they feel about the resale value and debt payments.
I burned lots of Money on Cars, but as I get older I get wiser... No reason to pay $20K over and the interesting thing is the manufacturer doing it... always say is your money you can do what you want to do... I will never pay over for any car and no Financing
I think it depends on your finances. If someone has $2,000,000 in savings they could buy one cash. If someone has $70,000 in savings it wouldn’t be wise to finance a cyber truck.

Those who are saying that spending 100k+ cash vs financing $1300-$1800 is better are already making pour life decisions. Talking mainly to those who are saving 40-50% or saving to buy it cash. If 2-3 years the new Cyber Truck that comes with a lot more gadgets you'll want to trade... So dont pay cash just refinance so it'll be easier to trade. When financing you can trade for the new year every time with dropping 10-15k cash than paying 100k every time the new ones comes out... Whos really saving more money and driving off the lot every time a newer model comes out 😤.
