I retired from the Post Office after 34 years as a Mailman. I had a retired Colonel on my route and every day that his Golden Retriever was alive she met me down the street to get the mail and a treat. I’d rubber and it and she’d take it to him in the garage. He would let her take it in the house and get another treat. ❤️🐕🦺

I delivered newspapers as a boy. One of my customers dog met me every day. When I collected for the paper, the dog would bring me the money. And would not leave until I gave change. No shit!

My dad would discipline our poodle with a small rolled up newspaper, if she saw the newspaper on the lawn she would run out and tear it to shreds. It was kinda funny when she tore up our paper, not so funny when she tore up the neighbors ! 😂😅

My Nellie Rose (springer spaniel) used to fetch the paper. ❤ When she got older, we knew she was getting doggie dementia because she'd head out to the driveway and then forget why she was there. She always loved to run out there and look around anyway.
