Looking nice! I vote for Pablo to be able to show what he's thinking more often🙂
The cartoon bubble showing Pablo's thoughts was hilarious...and obviously spot on considering his stance! LOL
Yep, gave me a chuckle too
The "General" was a joy to watch when it came together. The marriage of two trucks to create a full blown king cab was awesome! Clean up the rust, primer and paint! Mint!!
I agree 100% . That was the build that turned me into a Half Ass Kustoms sub and a fan of Brent's work ever since.
The General is the best you have done, everything else are toys, but that is Truck! Hoping you don't let rust destroy it.
The General is the coolest truck anyone has ever built! It's my favorite build of yours!
After the primer went on you can't tell the bumper was six pieces put together. It looks awesome. Paublo always has the stink-eye look.
Good choice for back ground music. Thanks for the show 😊
Pablo can talk! I love the bubble comment! He is such a important part of the shop that I think we need more of his opinions!
Pablo always wants to go inside!! The front bumper looks really nice. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Brent has created a new category of car builds, a working man's version . . . encourages everyone who wants to have a go
As like everytime, I enjoyed watching you doing your art on the bumper, and listening to some good music. What a good time I had 🙏🏽
For a man who hates bodywork you sure do a great job , the front bumper is going to look perfect. for the time you put in you can honestly call it a custom job well done. Thanks for a most satisfying video it was entertainment at its best. Stuart in Ontario ..
👋Wow! Brent That GMC is Gonna Look Fabulous When All Done! Good Job on The Front Bumper! Looks👀 Like it Came From The Factory!!👍 Keep On Fabricating!!🤗
No matter what you do I always find it interesting love your road dog content Pablo's a real trooper
Nice work on the bumper and I think it's the right call on the corners for the rear bumper, this is turning into to one cool ride, great job Brent 👍
The bumper turned out nice Brent! Cool tunes too! Thanks!
Brent, I've learned a lot from you especially the welding techniques you do. I love the Genetal. That's my favorite vehicle of yours. Keep up the good content. Thanks
great episode today. Poor Pablo wants your attention so bad saying " Hey, Can we go now?". "Put your tools down and walk away"... lol.
When I see you using the lazer, I'm drawn back to the '50s & "60s watching the science fiction movies with their "Ray Guns", etc. Who knew that I would live to see lazers being used industrially. Funny too, that you are using one on a vehicle from that era.👍✌👀
I always enjoy the music. Sometimes I even catch myself not watching for a few seconds.
Hey Brent I’m glad your using the “car shampoo” Bilt Hamber hydrate 80 rust converter, that front bumper looks great, can’t wait to see the whole truck in paint,
The General needs a little Paint, to cover that Rust and protect it!
I'm so glad you're making the trip south again 😊
Please paint this one nice you’re doing such nice work on this build.always good to see the general.thanks John from Arizona
Learn something new every time I watch
Great job Brent. Looks awesome. Can't wait to see this one finished. It's gonna look wicked good in your shop color. Be blessed. Later.
Brent, nice job on the bumper! It looks very good 👍! Little bit at a time. Slowly shaping up, l like it! Have a great Easter weekend enjoy your family! God bless, jim
I love the front end on your roadster truck and that bumper brings it all together. Going to Lone Star in the General will be awesome, people are going to love that truck. Your friend did good on the big tool box with you logo. Good video!
the gmc is just lookin awesome boy that paint can shaker shakes EVERYTHING LOL
It's looking Amazing, can't wait to see it done. Loving this build, great job!!
Got a chuckle out of the items moving around on your bench while shaking paint. 😂
The bumper looks like it turned out good. Love your "suck" in the fast forward segment. The way Pablo sits reminds me of Eore from winnie the pooh.
I like what you did to both bumpers!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Looks good Brent ..I agree with the back bumper ..
HEY BRENT THAT FRONT END IS LOOKING AWESOME SUPER JOB ON THE BUBMPER. GOD BLESS
The front bumper looks great, Brent 💯
Thanks Brent for the Video. Just plugging away. Going to look great. Very patient. Thank you for sharing! 💯👍❤️
That is gonna def be onw of your best builds to date. Pablo was def wanting to go in. Way past his bed time. As always best video on u tube.
Working perfectly. Hi Ester.
Very nice!
I like the dancing paint table.
Now that you have a lot more space, a powder coating booth may come in handy
When you said "We got adjustment" [5:52] on the end of the bumper, I foolishly thought you meant the bracket you just put on. Turns out adjustment = grinding wheel and re-weld [8:27] . LOL - love your work.
Brent, loved the way the paint shaker turned your workbench into an air hockey game! Also approve of glass under the bondo! Bondo alone doesn't last and ends up causing rust underneath. Whereas fiberglass and resin are water proof and non porous! The GMC pickup gets better every episode! Also great to see the General acting as eye candy! Cheers!
I think you might need some slightly frenched pockets for the forward tips of the rear bumper to nest into. Love the channel, never miss a vid. Thanks
The front is looking super sexy now especially with those wheels and those little additions above the bumper the grill and bumper are amazing the whole look of the truck is really working well it has it all going on🦾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥love it
I love the show, keep posting, wishing and esta all the best.
Wrap around the back bumper 👍🏻
French the sides of the rear bumper into the wings. Great to see the front coming alive.
The front bumper looks so smooth now. You'd never know how much it was sectioned. I'm with some of the others, please fix the rust on the General as your time permits. Love that truck.
If only Darth Vader had used his light saber for good. There would not have been any rust on a Galaxy far far away!😆 Enjoy your road trip, it will be here before you know it!
Excellent video Brent :) , Pablo The Supervisor Dog 🐕 👌 👍 👏 😀 also yes how you learn was same I learned to never cut weld chrome bumpers those types but other one have ! Also body fill same too also it challenging too and task!
Who ever said that you don’t need multiples of a tool never had to switch grinding pads during a rebuild.👍😁
GREAT UP DATE....LUV'D THE PAUSE & "YUK"....GREAT TUNES BRENT...OH PABLO , LOV'N DA FRIES...THANK YOU For taking us along....👍 ❤ 🤠 🐕 😀
I seen that table jumping and thought of how many stands you've made for the other stuff and then let thing beat **** out of the stuff your keeping on the table.... yet only so much space for everything as it fills up, space becomes a premium. My biggest concern is your mentioning the timing moved some. The shaft for the pump is not keyed and if it slips a little, just a matter of time before a bigger problem.... not going to bend stuff as thats a different shaft but since its moved, take the cover off, hammer it loose, retime it so its right, then hammer it really tight again to make it nice.. get the power back and mileage where you want it. Also less smoking
It's a shame I worried that your big truck was gone maybe because of the fire..so good to see it's fine 👍🏼
Yeah, Pablo, surely doesn't seem to be looking too impressed with all your hard work grinding! all he wants is bonding time with dad, relaxing in the house, by a nice warm fire. bumper in primer good stuff. no complaints here.
Good job on the bumper. Looks like it belongs there.
Looking better each time I see it...when I was a younger fella doing building reno,my boss got us shirts that said "drywall til you puke!" I'd say the same about bondo😂
My dog is addicted to the big M.
Love what you do great work 👍
great show Keep on Truckin 😎👍
looking good! Take care
I kinda like your shacker table ! I amazed that you look at something and thin see how you want it in your mind and then , there's what you imagined
Hoping to go to Lonestar. would be very cool to see you there.
Love that bumper.
I used my ball joint press and some flat plates to straighten a bumper. Worked nice
The little bit of tweaking finished the look of the bumper made it look amazing. The front end now is making a statement good job. Later
I would paint the truck satin black and paint the bumpers and grill in a gloss black !! Thanks for another, Brother !!
Brent, the Bilt Hamber is from the UK it will turn the rusty areas black its also biodegradable like most of their products. i've used this and their DEOX-C powder which is fantastic for de-rusting items.
It's nice of Pablo to let you have a few of the fries.
Love how the "pleats" in the grill slats align with the license plate surround on the bumper!
Blood Sweat and Tears maybe not Tears, But I love your art and future vision for this , I don't know how to describe it, only Know It's Going Too Be Kick A##!!!... Thanks again and many more, Thumbs Up!...
Something you should know. Welding on chrome generates chromium vapors that are extremely toxic and can accumulate in the body. If you really have to weld chrome or stainless steel do it outside and with a fan blowing the fumes away from you. Journeyman welder here.
Good thing you had Pablo to help with those fries. I can't imagine driving the General all the way to Austin. Man I really liked that old Merc of Esther's. Bumper looks damn fine to me. Catch ya on the next one...later!!
Brent very nice job looking good
Please fix the rusted areas on the truck . Brent you put so valuable time into fixing it so the rest of us can enjoy it right along with you 👍👍👍
Rust looks good
Yep, the General needs more TLC
Man they get the rust hey ? Yowza that truck ain't even that old with new metal !
use the Rust preventer on the General. You have the time. Maybe your apprentice will do it for you 😂
Epoxy primer would go a long way before painting it
Both. Bumpers Look great.
Poke the exhaust pipes out the rear bumper on each side, then think about wrapping the rear bumpers forward on each rear fender. Love the show!
Puting glass on firest, then bondo is a good thing, a longer lasting job
Good.job cool bumber Nice shop 😃👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
The Master of "Molten Bondo" !!! Love your work and so cool you have both a paint can shaker as well as the Cascade machines ... more than half of the job is clean up (as you said, "Yuck" LOL). BTW ... pro body shops use "Ajax" powder and scotch bright pads to scuff before paint on "quickie jobs" ... when you get back to the General. Bon chance from the Riviera Bro.
vactan rust treatment , better than a laser because it seals the metal, used worldwide by the shipping industry. Also, decant what you want to use or you contaminate the main bottle.
Bilt Hamber Laboratories Hydrate-80 is a rust converter which provides unparalleled protection to rusted steel surfaces. Traditional paints and coatings applied to corrosion give disappointingly short-lived performance because they simply hide the underlying and continuing corrosion - the failure is first seen by blistering of the coating and the rapid breakthrough of rust. Based in: Essex, UK. They do a lot of products for the car industry. Linked to Aeronautical and marine industry. Super video and great work. Really starting to look good and functional.
At first I was skeptical about painting the bumper but it looks kewl just in primer
Brent I’ve heard that oven cleaner left on chrome will strip it off. Worth a shot for sure. Hope to meet youz guys in Texas this year. 👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤘🏻🤘🏻
You should go for perfection, the truck is so good, its worth it, I whish this truck was mine, looking fab.
you can remove chrome by soaking it in HCl (Muriatic Acid) preferably outdoors, you can buy it at CT in the pool section
Hey there Brent , been a while since you and Ester did a live chat , be nice to catch up with a fellah and his lovely wife once in a while .
Ever think about hooking the laser welder/cleaner to your plasma table? Set and forget
Great job. That bumper actually looks nice! Keep wrenching my friend.
Thanks for the Bilt Hamber hydrate 80 tip mate! Bilt Hamber Atom Mac is the top coat for that - sprayed not wiped! I saw a demo after you showed it up and man that stuff is GOLDEN. Edit: The bumper is magnificent. You really should get that one re chromed Brent. Really! Half assed or No, it deserves chrome to match the grille, beautiful I reckon. Looks sculpted in primer still
Im really liking that front bumper the first time I saw on the truck. Can't wait to see the finished product
the general is my favorite and i would love to see you do more with it but this new build is coming around nicely and maybe become my favorite?
Hey Brent, Lookin' good! Probably some rattle-can etching primer would help you keep the paint on the scuffed chrome.
Good luck at lone star this year hope your return goes better than last year
Heat removes peeling chrome pretty well. I dont have an oxy torch , so I just sit them on a fire. However you sometimes get a little distortion.
My suggestion for rear bumper, weld spears back on and build recess in fenders to accept them.
Minty ! Thank You for sharing your video, and letting us hang out . Later ...
The General is what got me o board and the i went and watched all the ones i miss and had a good time
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Nice job Brent! You are the hardest working man in the hot rod business!!
