So for people who are not trying to burn down their kitchen, making it even thinner and doing it in a very hot oven instead of deep frying would probably be the way to go :p
You can make little personal pizza sized ones which should fit in a standard frying pan :D
@@GCOSBenbow - thats how you can tell how chaotic things are. The first thing I would have done is found the largest thing In can deep fry then base how big the patty would be off that lol
Maybe do it English muffin sized, that way you're not trying to bread and egg a pizza size dish of chicken

Where's your sense of adventure? If there's no risk of something going catastrophicly wrong then where's the fun? But in all seriousness if baking make sure you have a fire extinguisher, and if you deep fry be prepared to extinguish a fire withOUT water.
"salt and pepper to taste" is a WILD thing to say about a dish that is raw chicken at that stage of the recipe.

This is how we do it in most Australia. More a pizza on a chicken than a pasta dish (but not spherical, and merely pan fried). Plus ham. It's glorious with ham.

I was like "Yeah I can make this at home!" and then you deep fried the chicken. I'm not burning my house down lol.
To be fair he did say not to try it at home unless you have a way bigger pan than he did.
I'm thinking about making it about 7" across, and frying in my big Dutch oven.
Maybe you can look up how to bake chicken parm in the oven?

In northern England we have a similar, much beloved takeaway dish called the Parmo. Pounded and breaded chicken topped with a bechemel and cheese, served with chips (chip shop chips preferred) and garlic sauce. Some get chilli sauce but we don't listen to those people

This - locally known as A Parmo - is a staple in the north of England

Nah parmos are more like a welsh rarebit mixed with a chicken schnitzel imo. Don't really get red sauce on it.
The tradiitional smoogy delight known as a Parmo does not use a tomato sauce. This is something many places get wrong. It traditionally has the fried chicken, with a Béchamel sauce on it, and topped with cheese.

Looks delicious, I remember Nigella Lawson making something similar years ago that she called a Meatzza which was essentially meatballs in pizza form.
But, isn't "Meatzza" a Little Caesar's menu item?
@@MatthewTheWanderer Is that a US restaurant chain? Not familiar with it myself, but the recipe has been on her website since 2012. Possible she recreated something she'd eaten in the US for a UK show though.
@@cruachan1191 Yes, Little Caesar's is a major US-based pizza chain. Their "Meatzza" has nothing whatsoever to do with what you described. It's just a pizza with extra meat.

This reminds me of something from my previous hometown. This sushi restaurant has a sushi roll where instead of it being wrapped in seaweed, it was breaded fried chicken like this. (Sushi Madre in Laredo TX, The "La Loca Roll")
This definitely seems like a sort of recipe that would work just as well, if not better, as a 6 inch personal pizza. At the very least it'd lighten the frying load.

Here in Argentina we have the "pizzanesa", a popular dish in a restaurant called "La Farola". It is basically a round chicken "milanesa" seasoned like a pizza. It can also be made of meat.

Carnivore pizza crust is basically this just with pork rinds and grated parm as the breading instead of flour and bread crumbs. Welcome (sorta) to our side of things. It's the best place to be. :)

I had VSG surgery so bread is hard to have, we usually make chicken pizza so this just gave me a better way to make it (ill probably air fry it instead).

When making hot honey, I strongly encourage you to use sliced fresh chiles of some kind. You don't get that red color, but you do get candied chile pepper rings!

Considering my 7 year old will only eat chicken nuggets and cheese pizza without a fight, i think I might give this a go, with some sneaky veg in the sauce
I only have 2 issues with this. first is ground chicken, it just doesn't work for this type of application it would be a lot better if you made it with actual pieces. In addition I think ham and pineapple on top is missing :P
