I am going to say I send you all love from Denmark, although I dont live there anymore. I am another person who have felt a deep kinship with Jews and the Israeli people, ever since I was a little kid, although I am 100% Scandinavian except for one German maternal great grandmother sprinkled in. My first memory of this was when my grandmother's (German) half sister said something antisemitic, and although I cannot have been more than 9 years old and never been told about Jews in my home, I somehow knew it was wrong. I developed an intense dislike for her that lasted all the years I knew her. I agree with Murray that a strong sense of basic fairness as well as admiration for a very civilized, tough and smart people, has played a role in my strong emotions when it comes to Israel. I have been in kibbutz twice and I do not live under the illusion that all Israelis or Jews are perfect - nor do they need to be for me to support Israel unequivocally.

Unfortunately for most politicians who depend on the votes of their citizenry to attain or remain in power, how they treat or mistreat Israel, will be a determining factor for their continuance. Those who think the Antisemitic demonstrators assailing their cities, represent the popular attitudes of their citizens. Then form policy towards Israel based on that assumption, are in for a shock. For those who sincerely want to see through the fog and utter lack of clarity their leaders have when it comes to dealing with Israel, Douglas Murray is a powerful light at the end of the tunnel. One is without a doubt Antisemitic, when they tear down a poster of a kidnapped child, simply because that child is Jewish. The same person would not even think of tearing down a poster of someone's lost pet.
I would say their issues go much deeper than being simply anti-Semitic, although I agree with your assessment, there is something seriously poisoned in their soul.

This current 1000% + rise of AntiSemitism, is so disgusting and depressing, because it is so brazen and far reaching. I agree with you but I'm not sure about the settlers. I met an ultraortodox girl form Manchestes who married another ultraortodox from New York and went to live in Israel.
