  • Mare of Easttown is a fantastic series. So well written, produced and directed. I did not see that ending coming! 😳 I’m usually able to predict endings but I actually gasped when Mare figured it out. 😲 All of the actors, as well as the writer, producers, & director deserve to win Emmy awards!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🏆

    • A block of homes in Wissinoming, Philly partially collapsed into the crick running under the whole street. I’m in S. Jersey now & get a pool in my basement when it rains. My friend’s mom in Wilmington has the same problem. Building on crick was a bad idea that every developer in the Delaware Valley had going back probably before we created the USA.

    • I am West Philly born and raised. Wawa and Hoagies are not an East coast thing. That is a Philly and Delco thing. Wawas over the past 5 -7 years have started moving down the East Cost.

  • Hilarious sketch. I grew up in NE Philly and now live 10 miles over the bridge. We grew up saying crick, not creek, and the pronunciation is closer to doordur. My in-laws live in Hockessin -- which is not in PA, not north of Conshy, but it is fun to say, thus the inclusion? I did lose it when she said cousinT, which I thought was only particularl to the Great Northeast :-)
