  • As a person that forgets faces right when I don’t see them constantly..... I literally recognize no one now

    • Ditto, I go by hairstyles more than faces... And that's why I want to keep masks forever, at the grocery store the other day a lady saw me and was like "Oh hey! how ARE you? I wouldn't want you to think I was ignoring you!" and I was able to say "Oh it's okay, I can hardly recognize anyone with masks on." The look on her face was EITHER she didn't know me and it was mistaken identity or "what a horrible thing for you to say to me, your best friend forever" even if she was only my kid's teacher from 10 years ago who I met less than 5 times....

  • So true! I just went to my first party in over a year. Quickly realized I did not miss any of my friends and had really nothing to say to them except about quarantine stuff.
