  • I love how despite running a Michelin star resto, the chef was so cool to play along and actually took the time off his busy kitchen for this one big prank, and he was totally enjoying it. 😂 Funny how when you translate things into French, they sound fancy. 🤣 And the woman---No pretense there. How cute! The husband---he could be a spy with that much response control, I would have burst out laughing already. And the waiters---these guys are obviously well trained. 😄

A] why would someone who has led a fulfilling life and reasonably good at their craft be in awe of these fake rating agency/body created eateries? (not to say that the restaurant cook isn't good at his craft or that his opinion is worthless) B) would he say anything but that on a televised/ recorded show. wouly they show a negative critique if it were given? C] he is in it for his own PR and marketing, wasn't wearing the hat or whatever to prevent hair, while preparing the presentation *while we see the presenter wearing one*,and that their establishment served something that could have been contaminated or even moldy or poisonous.. who knows! so does one still feel too good of him and lastly, if this isn't scripted.. it is a bit odd that all those things in her kitchen fridge had labels when she was probably the only one to ever prepare the meals at home *and she is conveniently unaware of the missing items* except for some things with dressing or garnishing how can one not instantly be aware of the taste, dish being home made.. by them!? .. then agaw, I'm not from west and not a non vegetarian. so I don't know. maybe all meat dishes taste similar whether made at home or... naah I am still not buying it

    • @@annaku_lickalicious If you went to a Michelin 2 star restaurant, you would expect the food to better than what you are capable of cooking at home. Even the best home chef shouldn't be able to compare, so she likely had much higher standards for that meal than she would have for her own cooking. I imagine during the meal she was thinking that she could have easily made all those dishes at home for way cheaper, and she would be completely right. She had every reason to be critical of the food, so it's not fair to suggest that she was being snobby or uppity.

Not that a lot of people would necessarily find themselves in this situation a lot but even just trying to recognize flavours without knowing what they are beforehand can be hard.
