Peak Design Micro Clutch - L-Plate and I-Plate Have Big Differences

After of the awkward fit of the Peak Design Micro Clutch I-Plate onto my camera, I knew I needed to come back with a follow up review where I match my OM System OM-1 mirrorless camera with the L-Plate.
I'm happy to say that the L-Plate version of the PD Micro Clutch works A LOT better with cameras that have a stockier grip. What wasn't so obvious is just how the dimensions of the L-Plate strap are different from the I-Plate and that made all of the difference. It's got better coverage, way more space for my hands and overall works a lot better.
I've subsequently used it a bit more and find myself switching between my index finger out of the grip and having the rest of the fingers in the clutch or index finger in and leaving the pinky out. How do you wear your Micro Clutch?

Any updates? Do you still like it?
I’ve been using it in Japan and I’ve been really debating just taking it off. Ultimately it’s an extra step when replacing the battery and in big moments, it’s just not something you want to deal with.
@@GoingAwesomePlaces So I tried the L plate on my 6700 and although I really like the idea of it, I hate the feeling and restriction of it. I feel like I can't easily hit the shutter button no matter what size it was or what position I put my hand in. And while it started to feel better loosened up, then it did nothing to help secure the camera.... Maybe its hand shape (relatively small hands but long fingers). Gotta be a good way to do it, but this design just isn't it for the 6700. Returning it and just going with the cuff instead
Why ditch the Cuff? It can be a perfect compliment to the Micro Clutch.

The fact that you can't mount any tripod 1/4" screw over that base (clutch) ... Makes it the most stupid design i have ever seen in the camera gear realm.
