As a hospice nurse I can tell you that cancer patients aren’t easy to visit for a lay person! I’ve watched Johnny go to Children’s Hospital & put his arms around children with feeding tubes,catheter bags on their little legs & it didn’t faze him! Now that’s a hero! I can bet my life Amber never did anything that kind!

He could have simply made a donation (which he did-donated, not pledged, donated 😂), or he could simply visit as Johnny Depp, but he still chose to put on the Capt Jack costume (which is elaborate and laborious by itself) and really make those kids happy. This man is so genuine.

From all the celebrities on Ellen show, especially with drama coming out involving her. I feel like she treated Johnny behind the scene nicer.
I’m 45, so I grew up watching him. Never once...did I ever see any allegations from previous girlfriends etc... it’s my experience that abusers follow a pattern. There’s no way this guy gets to be however old he is...then just suddenly..starts beating women. And I must live under a rock, because up until last month....I seriously never heard of Amber Heard....or however the heck her name is spelled. Most abusers tend to be high strung...granted there are those who are calm on the surface...but he just doesn’t fit the profile she’s portraying. This reminds of the Phil Hartman thing. Except he told nobody what was going on and his wife killed him. I think Mr. Depp got lucky. He dodged a bullet. Once court is over....file a restraining order against that nut and move on.

That is my experience also. When I heard it the first time, my reaction without thinking about it was untrue. People don't suddenly become violent in their fifties. I hadn't heard of AH either. Interesting to see the interview that was after his finger was severed and his demeanor! In the pic of him af Captain Jack and the little girl with the black and white headband on, while he was visiting w her in the hospital, she actually asked him "What happened to your finger?" he answered her that he got hurt and then said " Actually I ate it! I got so hungry I just bit it off" Now, knowing what really happened it's so sad to think that he was living in hell and Amber was the devil!
