    • I couldn’t stand Grease, I have no desire to see Saturday Night Fever, and I’ve never seen any of his 80’s movies. I think I’ve seen the “Look Who’s Talking Movies” when I was a kid. (Talking babies?) Aside from Welcome Back Kotter, this movie is the only movie that I have ever even enjoyed John Travolta being in. Him being cast as Vincent Vega was unanticipatedly brilliant (I would have never thought he would have been able to do so well with Jackson) and even though I have since seen other movies with him in it, his acting has never really stood out to me. I much prefer him over Tom Cruise though. No one will even convince me that Top Gun or Mission Impossible are worth a second viewing. I had a “sort of” girlfriend who loved Top Gun but it’s pretty obvious why.

    • @@someone2746 Cool story bro. Travolta can definitely act. But then saying your prefer him over Tom cruise after bashing him is even weirder. Wtf? Cruise can act his ass off. And does all hos own stunts. Dude works his ass off. Magnolia, a few good men, vanilla sky, Collateral, Born on the forth just to start as far as acting goes. All Oscar performances. I can go on and on He's made a shit ton of good movies. In ever genre. Even his Sci fi stuff. Edge of tommorow, etc Why are you bringing up both of their movies from the very beginning of their career like Top gun and Grease? Lol. Your takes are weird af. Like really weird Cruise had made so many good movies throughout his career and you say I don't like him because of top gun. Literally not even a top 10 performance of him And as far as action movies go, the MI movies are legit.

    • Much as I like Pulp Fiction, that scene is a complete ripoff of Scorsese's 1978 documentary about his junkie friend, Steven Prince (who, by the way, was also in Taxi Driver). The medical dictionary, adrenaline shot to the heart, stabbing motion, instantaneous recovery, etc. -- it's all straight from Scorsese's documentary 16 years before Pulp Fiction. If you search on KZhead for "American Boy / American Prince (Scorsese) - The Pulp Fiction tale", you'll see what I'm talking about.
