Stan Lee cameos are sacrosanct (IMO), and while DP cameos could be fun, I'd wager they'd only truly be worthwhile if they're mostly being used to build towards something.

You have to be kind of arrogant to think millions of people will enjoy your work. I wish the actual authors have a final say seeing the work getting butchered before they put it on the big screen.
It's sort of a poetic justice with how Deadpool was a quote-unquote "scrapped" character after Origins. One leaked test footage and two R-rated movies later, here we have the merc, saving the entire juggernaut that is the MCU.

For now I'm assuming this Wolverine is from the Multiverse of Madness world that had a Professor X in the hoverchair since Logan's outfit also matches the X-Men 97 look. Wanda left that world rather screwed anyway. I'm already getting a battleworld vibe from the trailer. They seem to be drawing heavier from the Fox side in the trailer which is fine but I wonder if we'll see any major characters from the base MCU playing a hidden role in this.

The cassandra nova portal is pointed at a grey sky, I GUARENTEE that portal was opened under the pretense it was to their world, but actually leads to the void. They'll land on their backs and knock themself out, which is when wade wakes up to wolverine in front of the 20th fox sign, and he does "okay, help me up, wait wait wait
I like the majority of what Benny covers, and many of the jokes that get worked in are quite mirthful, but I can't be disingenuous about his thoughts on the Logan movie vs the Old Man Logan comics run. We simply do not have enough bar-for-bar comic adaptations out there to ever claim they're better when they stick to a story told in the comic, and that makes it hard/impossible to consider a writer or director wrong for adapting elements of a popular run into a comic instead of trying to tell something made for written format on the big screen. There are enough challenges with a movie to start with, but the obvious differences from a comic already are: A) OML was a multi-issue series, does that fit in a 90m movie or a 3hr movie? What gets left out to fit even 3hrs in any 4-12 issue series? B) What context from years of prior comics helps a reader enjoy all the context of OML, and how does that need to change when a movie watcher's prior info musr come from preceding movies instead? C) So, already needing to adapt, what are the impacts of other unavoidable constraints? Do we buy into the Hulk's inbred children element mostly because they're Hulk's and She-Hulk's, and if we do, do they hit the same if they're Blob's inbred kids since Logan couldn't use Hulk IP, or do we just omit that part? 4. Can't use Mysterio either, but it's no big deal to swap in Mastermind (or others) and still get the same story beat; but then, why tell the same story we already have in comic format at the expense of getting a dramatic role for Sir Patrick Stewart whose Prof X was not in OML? No Hawkeye available for use either, so who do we put? (A blinded Cyclops could be fun, but again, already a change to have to work around). Bottom line is they told the story they told in Logan and it was great. Doing OML might have been just as great or it could have sucked, but the proof was simply in the fact that if we have a great story written for the screen and it's well directed, has great atmosphere and effects, and it's well acted, it will be great whether it follows a comic closely or not.

Man, I miss people getting excited with theories like this I remember the beginning of the new Star Wars trilogy. I just can’t get excited Disney will let me down.
Okay, I want to get this out there and maybe address a misconception about the Doctor Strange movie mention of incursions. Feel free to tell me if I’m mistaken. Multiverse of Madness never stated "the incursions" are happening. They simply introduced us to the concept by explaining "an incursion is when elements from one universe travel to another." Or in serious cases, "when one universe smashes into another." We met an Illuminati team in that movie that explained their Doctor Strange caused an incursion previously, leading to his execution. We saw the aftermath of another when our Strange fought another Doctor Strange who had used the Darkhold. And then Cleo showed up at the end to claim another incursion involving the Dark Dimension had been triggered, so that’s three instances completely separate from each other. There is nothing to suggest anything on the scale of what Hickman invoked in his New Avengers run was happening yet. Multiverse of Madness served as an introduction. Now, if the MCU going forward was to establish incursions were occurring more frequently due to an unknown domino effect across the multiverse, then that could lead into secret wars. But I haven’t seen anything in these movies to suggest the actual incursions event is occurring. If I’m wrong, let me know.
We just have to hope they give us one good spidy deadpool movie, like just work long enough to give us that possibility.
I have a feeling that Wesley Snipes is going to appear as a different timeline's Blade in this movie. Maybe they don't form a Secret Avengers, but rather a version of the Midnight Suns, considering all of the magical and celestial elements that they've been incorporating over the last several years into the canon of the MCU.
Also, for the theory: i like the idea that deadpool is the forefront of the mcu, and with the recent echo show, maybe marvel will see if this R rated mcu movie is a hit (which it will) and go down a rated R route (at least maybe for shows) And take a page from the boys & invincible Cuz we know those are popping off And lets be honest: venom, & venom let there be carnage, woulda been great as R rating And hearing that kraven may drop the R...dead before arrival

Captain America being out of commission because he’s old makes no sense. 1.) How does he come to the present timeline without a time machine? Endgame stated different timelines were like different universes, hence why something like past Nebula getting killed doesn’t affect the present Nebula 2.) Hulk created a device that can age and de-age a person. How are they going to treat something as world altering as that and not try to control it? They could easily get Steve back to his prime among various other things
I'm excited for Deadpool and Wolverine to come out in July. I understand your concerns about the hype for the movie, but I'm watching the movie regardless. Plus, Emma Corrin is a great casting choice as Cassandra Nova.
I belive the reason they don't copy the story page from page due to The audience might know what's gonna happen and most audience member might read the book and know what's gonna happen

If they're keeping Hugh Jackman they need to let him be Old Man Logan in the next movie. It would be a good compromise so Hugh doesn't have to look like he's 20 anymore it would also give a way to introduce the next Wolverine casting as they could basically borrow from the post Secret Wars Wolverine storyline and tie that into the introduction of the X-Men proper into the MCU.
i think its ok that the films dont just remake the comics completely as its basically a spoiler so using aspects and coming up with some new and fresh is what the mcu has been so good with (for the most part) like infintiy war and endgame taking aspects from both old and newer comic stories. had they just done old man logan which they couldnt at the time as they dont have access to so many vital characters like the hulk and hawkeye/avengers, i thought logan was the perfect story book end for wolverine in the fox universe IF fox was never bought out by disney as now we need deadpool 3 and the old xmen joining together with the mcu because its just another version of endgam and no way home giving us long time fans the amazing team up that we always deserved😊

Here's a fun idea too: we obviously we'll have to get rid of Hugh Jackman to bring in our own wolverine for the MCU. What if they use Hugh Jackman wolverine as the Thanos death like they did in the comics? But instead of Thanos being murdered at the hands of Dr Doom, he incinerates Hugh Jackman wolverine? Showing that he can kill an unkillable character. Then that freeze the path for our wolverine to be introduced

I LOVE Doctor Strange! He has been criminally underused in the MCU. I still want to see the version of WandaVision that they *didn't* cut him out of. All of Benedict's scenes were filmed (he started showing up in the "commericals" playing during the show, as a way to "play along" with Wanda's spell, but they stupidly refilmed the commercials with random actors, instead) and it would've added so much more context to MOM. They ended up changing both of those projects (for the worse) because they ended up cutting Strange out of WV. Such a dumb decision.

It is plausible but you are right. They’ve killed my MCU hype with bad series and movies. So I find myself not caring about it or this movie. Love your work and more so than the MCU as well at this point. So I’ll wait and see after you see it to make a video on it.

Wolverine and Deadpool is going to be a great movie. Hollywood loves street level characters they make for great movies. But wanna see real superheroes with powers like Superman, The Flash and Green Lantern with good movies.

I think it'd be cool if Wolverine got sent to that alternate X-Men universe that's seen at the end of the Marvels. Then he could have a second chance with the X-Men. Plus that world could serve as an alternative to the Ultimate Universe that's seen in the comics during the final incursion.
throughout all of this, it's the "looking for group" that swayed/roped me in. the gamer in me pre-cried for what will "LFG" turn into instead of "looking for group". AND now, we'll instead get spammed with what people think is a rallying cry with F bomb on it 😢😂😢🤣
