  • Richard my names joe heilman. I live up here In fort gratiot Michigan. You've singlehandedly turned me into a crappie fanatic. I've always loved fishing and recent years I was really good at trout walleye perch etc. But crappie seemed yo be the hardest fish to locate daily, seasonally, and especially without a boat in the areas I fish. For darn near 3 years , basically the whole pandemic , I'd watch some of ypur videos and then head out for 1 to 3 days at a time crappie fishing as many spots as I could and grabbing any knowledge of the fish I could. Anytime I ran into a slow period where my usual spots would not produce. I'd watch your weekly video and take the best pointers you had to new spots. Catching more crappie than i ever had. and learning more about fishing in general while doing it. Tha k you for acknowledging God in what you do because I know he's saved my life abs probably will in the future countless times. Good luck in the future and keep up the best crappie fishing l owledge there is on the wide web. Thx

  • You are a wonderful awesome man. And you happen to be a fisherman. I am glad that I am still subscribed to your channel. I actually haven’t watched your channel for a while. Been working a lot, and in my opinion, your southern drawl when you talk reminds me to stop working so fucking much, and relax a little bit, and get back to what brought you joy. I watched a video of yours on how to set the hook depth for Crappie fishing. Thank you so much sir. (caught a lot of crappies from your wisdom and knowledge) I hope God blesses you profusely. You have a joy inside you that is priceless. You never talk about your life struggles. But like many of us people that have been paying attention to your channel for a while, life struggles are always in somebody’s life. Don’t be ashamed of smoking cigarettes. When you went on that Famous fisherman’s lake that has a Amish haircut, I could hear it in your voice that you were nervous, and just wanted a fuckin’ cigarette. Pardon my French…..I am a tobacco user currently, and I understood and could feel what you were going through. Secretly in my head, I thought it was an honor for the Amish haircut guy to have you on his boat. No joke. Real talk, no squalk…… God bless you brother.

  • I love how you explain things… A lot of people don’t realize how lazy crappie are. They just sit there and wait for something to swim in front of their face. They don’t have to chase shad. They just follow them around and wait for them to mess up and get to close… lol I fish a lot slower now thanks to you. I’ve only been crappie fishing for about 2 years and I’ll be fishing for them for the rest of my life. Great video buddy!
