Flew over from Norway and my first game in 17 years. It’s a night I’ll remember for a long while, fantastic atmosphere and intensity resulting in a majestic performance, not just the players but manager, management team and staff. COYI!!

Liverpool knows how to soft foul. Clear dives but Liverpool knows their shit, can't be mad.. It's the refs that fucked this match.. Foul to Allison AND those soft fouls. As long as the refs/rules/VAR allows free kicks and penalties to be taken after clear dives/soft fouls/whatever cheating, it is going to happen and i believe every side should practice to get better in cheating because it clearly is profitable. I mean i would dive the shit out of myself if i get a change to my side after every dive.

You cannot beat a game under floodlights, atmosphere just goes up a level and to beat a team that we rarely beat makes it a little more special. Liverpool are superb but we were just a little sharper in front of goal than they were. ⚒⚒
I thought this video was excellent - so interesting to see different views than the ones from the TV. Warming up made me laugh - as a young boy, I used to get to Upton Park around noon for a home game; was obviously one of the first to get in and so saw all the warm ups. We used to play our version of spot the ball, called spot the blade of grass. I seem to sense a team spirit that probably I have not seen before. In the early to mid 60’s, you obviously had stars but I always felt it was a team of players rather than players bonded into a team. Loved to watch Bonds, but he seemed also to be a team of players. Surely, all of the credit must go to Moyes and his (often not mentioned) team of coaches. With Stuart Pearce, you are never going to lack passion. Wish I was able to go the new ground but the travel and the standing would be too much for me. That’s life and I wouldn’t have anything replace my memories of WHU. The bubbles song just encapsulates the journey of the fans.
