  • I was currently enrolled in a community college in Long Beach, CA. Allison Mack was one of my classmates in a sociology course and I literally had NEVER knew anything about this story AT ALL. Surprisingly, cults and trafficking was never a topic that was discussed in the class. Me and Allison became good friends and all of our classmates knew of us to sit together everyday and make jokes about the professor and be sort of loud and obnoxious. She was the sweetest most down to earth person I had ever met. But in the back of my mind I always found it a bit odd that any time she’d converse with me...she’d give me compliments and try to engage in conversation with me as if she was trying to get me to be vulnerable. She also never showed up for any of the exams, yet she showed up for every other class. I read about this story 3 months after the course ended and I was completely blown away because I had no idea this lady existed before this class started. I also came to the conclusion that her way of connecting to me was all apart of her recruiting tactics and I have never felt more unsafe than I do now. This is just to say to anyone who finds this story or finds themselves in a similar situation, pay attention to your surroundings and don’t get too close to people, you literally never know who you’re talking to.

    • @@quintuplebanned4267 I met her when they were out networking and asking for people who were coaches or looking into personal improvement. Someone gave her my name since I am a life coach. So I agreed to meet her. She talked about how their material was so much better than anything out there in the field of personal development. But I'd been coached by some pretty amazing people. She "coached" me right there in starbucks. Her technique was good, but nothing I hadn't done myself or been exposed to, but then I had also had exposure to very skilled coaches. I'm sure they would have taken my money but I wasn't interested. The red flags were the emphasis on ONE leader - the elusive Keith who was such a genius AND that their material was so amazing it was patented and couldn't be used outside their organization. I don't think any organization has all the answers and when any organization or religion claims to have the answers vs. one's own inner guidance, that's a huge red flag. Spiritual leaders should be helping people find the answers within themselves. I think the few who achieve success through being the leader of a movement are easily seduced by their own power and are then drawn into feeding their egos. And unchecked egos are bottomless pits which can never be satisfied, and can only lead to massive destruction......... like our current president for example.

They are out in their communities, donating their time and money without expectation of praise. Anyone looking for someone kind-hearted to take after would be better served starting in shelters, libraries and food banks. Instead of paying for overpriced workshops.

Otherwise they would have walked away when the branding iron came out, instead of regarding it as putting them in a special class of women. The time for gurus in the US was about 1970-80. After than, the cutting edge of higher human unfoldment moved on to higher and more subtle methods. If anyone had tried branding people then, it would not have taken on. The branding was done over the sacral chakra, the emotional centre, and breathing IN the pain was to deepen and intensify the pain/shock/trauma factor. Things become more gentle and subtle when conscious is raised, not more blatant and grotesque.

He didn't even make a US top 10 list. The IQ test was probably an online, 10 question, 'Where's Waldo' quiz, if that. There are no actual records of him having anything but basic schooling. Wouldn't an insanely smart person graduate early, or skip grades if speaking and reading at an extremely advanced level? • Sociopaths and Psychopaths can score high on IQ tests. That doesn't mean they are fit to be leaders or score high in other areas of human intelligence and consciousness. I watched several of Keith's interviews where he was supposedly sharing his "genius." He said absolutely NOTHING. He seems to use a lot of circular logic and is clever at playing to people's insecurities and low self esteem. So when something he says actually doesn't make sense (and I saw the quizzical looks in every interviewee's eyes) they assume it's because he's a "genius" and the information is just over their heads. Honestly I was rolling my eyes at everything he said. Total garbage. But then my narcissist meter is especially sensitive. lol

Or some are just psychopaths who feel no empathy ever, so it's easier for them to commit crimes and not care about hurting anyone.

That's why pro football players go broke chasing bad investments with worse ones. And that's how people join a self help group and, after paying lots of money and the giving of their time, chase a return on that investment. Trying to get that return creates a "blind spot" for evil. Instead of cutting your losses, you double down.

He has absolutely nothing to do with the over 17 million people of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's frustrating for me, a regular good person who knows better, to see people confuse my faith with a relatively small group of cultists living in a secret society in the middle of the desert. I feel sorry for any of the sincere people stuck out there and especially the poor children in that cult led by that guy in jail. (I hope they still don't follow him.) Peace.

    • His penchant for 'word salad' may have been a gaslighting tactic- he wants people to think they're not smart enough to understand him. He tried it on the NXIVM 9, and it's a lot less effective when your targets are coordinated with each other and agree you're speaking gibberish. After three days, sweating bullets, he gave up and told them he'd killed people in order to scare them silent.

  • SVU did an episode about this and I'm just now seeing it after the E True Hollywood Story. The episode depicts the situation almost to a T even down to the branding the only real difference is the murder storyline that we see in a lot of their shows. Incredible how they manage to do that.

  • Love the way Lawyers are trained to spin. Give me a break, these women were weak minded and allowed themselves to be controlled by this creep and this cult he designed. People are broken and needy that doesn't mean this man had a right to exploit that in the name of helping them. How many times have we seen this scenario? We all have the potential to be vulnerable to these kinds of people. Humans, we must evolve past this.

    • To be fair that's the description of every religion. Most Christian churches for instance state you should make a donation of 10% of your income. You're not forced to but it is heavily suggested that you make offerings

    • ^^^ Exactly. It's exactly using the methods and tools of religious inculcation. Telling you that you are lost because you exist. Providing justification that what you've done makes you dirty and needing of cleansing. Showing you the "one true" answer to your dirtiness. Claiming that you must give (tithes...etc) to get the answer to wash you of your dirtiness. Claiming that if you don't give you will be cast out into the dirt. I'm all about separation of church and state but state needs to do a much better job of explaining why anything "church" is absolute nonsense.

    • That said, the differences are in this case the sermon is one where this white male makes himself a God and claims to these women that he would take care of them should they give themselves exclusively to his divine touch. He's affluent, he has the ability to support them .... check. For a host of women this is enough .....just this! Entire cultures are built around Men literally buying women from their families ....hell others are built around literally selling their daughters to affluent males....why is it surprising that there are many woman out there who would accept this situation? This does NOT absolve him of responsibility for being a predator IF he lied to these woman about what he was doing but if he didn't lie to them? Well that's on those women....they don't need to share themselves with one Man when they could find a Man of their own to take care of them....they chose to be a part of his Harem knowing it was so....it's illogical to fault him for their choice in this regard IF it is true that they chose this willingly and given that so few of these women are coming out to claim abuse it tells us a lot about the sway that the ability to protect and support enables Man to wield over women. Misogyny will truly end only when Men can get pregnant unawares from their interactions with women.

      @DavidSaintloth@DavidSaintloth5 жыл бұрын
    • @@DavidSaintloth From what I've read, they're recruited with the promise of women supporting other high powered women. Once recruited, they're put through what probably comes off as just a bit of hazing and being used as an go-fer. Then, to advance, they're asked to hand over some "collateral," or potentially ruinous material that can later be used as blackmail. Only once these women have staked their identity and future in this organization are they (forcibly) branded and told what the whole thing is actually about. It's similar to Scientology where you have to spend thousands of dollars and show an incredible commitment for the truth to be "revealed" to you. By the time you find out that your cult is based on a poorly contrived sci-fi plot featuring Xenu the evil alien overlord, you've already invested year upon years and the monetary equivalent of a large house. At that point, it feels like you're too far in it to leave.

  • I met Keith at a "wheelbarrow-party" back in the day. He was a brilliant conversationalist. I was hanging on every word. he knew stuff. Knew the Lama. You were basically bowled over by his phenomenal personality and he, even then, could make you feel like you wanted him, like he was The Man. The 5 minutes i spent with him was like a complex universe of mind-expansion into his imagination. We parted and I never saw him again. I forgot about him. Till now. How lucky I was not to be in his cult. Greta Bollth told me he could make his smile jump into your face. I don't know what that means. I don't want to find out.

But hey, if you're implying that the male frats that are getting branded are doing it to be slaves to a woman, I'd be more than happy to hear that story. 🤨

  • I don't care how brilliant a sociopath is. I'd much rather have emotional intelligence, and feel emotional highs and lows. Sociopaths tend to thrill seek to the point of danger and destruction of themselves and everyone around them just to feel anything at all. They can't relate to people emotionally, so they've learned to observe and mimic others to try to "fit in". They can be very charming, and will try to impress and relate to you on a superficial level. They believe that they are better than everyone else, because that is easier than just being different, and in their minds it justifies their perception that everyone around them are mere pawns that they can control. One of the first signs that a person is a sociopath is to watch their eyes. Their face may be expressive, but their eyes will be emotionless. Then ask them something that should elicit an emotional response while rendering yourself emotionless. They will not know how to react, but will tell you what they think you want to hear. I have met and worked with some sociopaths in my time, it is best to keep them at a distance and don't give them any personal information, or they may use it to their advantage.
