On October 6th at the Smith & Wesson Tennessee Headquarters Grand Opening, Jerry Miculek attempted and set two new World Records with his Smith & Wesson Revolver, beating out Max Michel’s old record and setting an entirely new record.
Fastest Time to Hit 6 Target Plates from 7 Yards with a 9mm Handgun: 2.01 seconds.
Fastest Time to Hit 6 Target Plates from 7 Yards with a 9mm Revolver: 1.88 seconds.
Over the past year, Jerry has dedicated himself to countless hours of practice, reacquainting himself with the revolver platform after a hiatus from professional revolver shooting. A veteran of competition shooting, he has proven once again that he is a legend of his craft. Congratulations, Jerry!

    • @@tekaefixenon of them did it with a DA revolver. I was a huge Bob Munden fan but he was simply an exhibition shooter. He never shot competition for a reason

  • Here is a man, who totally devoted his life to a sport that allowed him to do what he loves to do, daily! What an inspiration and Jerry is a very humble guy. His daughter is very blessed to have him as a role model and she is fortunate to be able to spend her days with her daddy.

  • it actually gives me chills watching that man run a revolver. It is mind blowing that from a surrender draw and fire the first shot on target in .8 seconds, then the consistency of the splits at .2 sec is so impressive. If I become half the shooter Jerry is in my lifetime I would be happy lol.

  • My son and I were privileged to meet him this past weekend. What a great guy and amazing shooter. My 29 year old son shoots his 8-shot model 27 better than any semi-auto, he was SO excited to meet Jerry. Revolver love. “Get Some!”

  • Im just amazed how smooth the action is and how consistent the splits are. I still feel the revolver can go just little bit faster maybe 1.75 ish. Great Job Jerry. I still remember what you told me privately at shot show in 2008. It was best 10 minutes of my life as a shooter
