The detailed map is a zoomed in version of the overall map. You can look at the right top corner and I'm pretty confident that it gets detailed when you zoom in.
The comment i was looking for
I noticed this right away i'm surprised he didn't see that it was zoomed in.
Was gonna say this :)
Was going to comment this, but as well the yellow items on the map (berry, ore etc). I'm pretty sure they are map pins added by the player as opposed to always being shown on the map
Same
About the map, there's a ZL ZR Option atop, it works as a zoom in and out in the map, so you can probably go in to look in more detail The yellow icons ~to me~ looks like pins that the player can place, since they look really standardized and random This game is looking great!
wanted to make both of these points so glad I checked whether no one else already did XD
Was about to mention the same thing. I think it’s cool they have the classic Pokémon region map and the detailed area maps.
@@nathan3827 I did to XD
You've never played Fallout or TES have you? Maps in RPGs tend to use a standard icon set to make it easy for players to understand and to be able to recycle so they don't need to make a unique marker for each location. And markers on maps tend to look pretty random anyway so that doesn't at all confirm they're placed by the player. That doesn't mean they won't be or shouldn't (It'd be kinda cool imo, since it's all about discovery) but it's not exactly a good tell
“It’s deer season right now” Austin John: “ Oh you mean DUR season?”
lmao love it
Nice
After seeing the "Arc Phone" I'm now 100% convinced that this game is actually a Pokemon Platinum remake from the perspective of characters in a different dimension or timeline. The arc phone is considered to have "magical abilities" because it's futuristic tech from Platinum that somehow ended up in the past. All of the Team Galaxy looking members are good versions of their evil counterparts, etc.
Yeah! Especially all the “subtle” easter eggs of characters from not just Sinnoh.
That would be cool
What’s that one saying that anything technologically advanced enough is just magic? Yeah that. Was kinda weirded out by the phone but I’m more ok with it if it was some time warp accident
@@fashioni.star. Magic is just science we don't understand yet
@@fashioni.star. "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" - Arthur C. Clarke's Third Law
The flute sound is sound of the Diamond, Pearl and Platinum opening theme. It was cool
It is also the sound of the Azure Flute that we never got, which brings even more hype to the table!
The map looks like those yellow icons were markers you can place yourself, like in BOTW. And those frenzy pokemon were actually just the player marking where Alpha pokemon can be found. I really hope there is some kind of shiny hunting mechanic with them
I think so too! It’s marking where an Aloha pokemon is
The reason why I think that were getting new starter variants, is because rowlet's evolution was based off an extinct animal. (Hence the ghost type.) And well... If this is the past, and that animal isn't extinct anymore... Doesn't that mean he won't be ghost type anymore?
It's not long enough for the starter to change evolution and the animal its base off is dead in its own region that will not change since its last evolution makes sense for game setting
@@ultmewtwo Ye
Not every ghost type Pokémon has a non ghost counter part, but that would be cool
How is it in the past with cellphones??
you were right. its grass fighting
"If you've noticed, there's a running theme with all these wardens." Me: almost all are ancestors of present day trainers, like Marley, clay, & Mars respectively?
Yes!! They look like em! Im like the black haired gal is too uncanny. XD they’re not trying to hide it. Lol
I wonder who Iscan's descendant is?
Even the clothier! She has the same hair as Darach from the Sinnoh Battle Frontier
@@Syiepherze its marlon
I noticed clay first, same hat, similar stance, similar hair, its just not a coincidence.
The "old" map is just the map fully zoomed out, you can see that the new map zoom indicator is in the middle and the old map zoom indicator is to the left. :) so the game area seems to be A LOT bigger than we expected! HYPE!
Or given we're far in the past and there are unlikely to be full on routes between areas, it could be that they are doing something similar to Monster Hunter setting up separate large scale zones you'd go to for your expeditions or missions. Either way a lot of room to mess with.
@@linkster291 I really hope not
@@truesdemon1644 Who cares at this point?! we've never got an open world map for pokemon, be satisfied already😂
@@larvitar2065 I'm just as greedy as Nintendo 😤
Shh. Let's let him figure it out.
As far as the two maps go, you have your Hisui map broken into smaller areas from the old video, and clicking on one of the smaller areas brings up the map from this video that is just that area you clicked on in more detail. It’s essentially a zoomed in and zoomed out map.
Now what I’m wondering is if the Wardens are more like Gym Leaders where we’ll get 8 of them and in turn 8 special Pokémon, or if they’re more like Captains and Kahunas, where Kahunas are the ones you battle and the captains are the one you help with frenzied Pokémon
Extra thing: the Celestica Flute works just like the Ride Pager, and just how the wardens give you your ride Pokémon so do the captains and Hala
They'll probably be more like Trial Captains and Kahunas. Their japanese name is literally Captain.
It seems like this is just a revamp of trials.
I like how the character Mai subtly has tattoos on her arms and legs in the form of the pokemon imagery on the clothes.. It's an interesting way to clearly have a "punk" type of character in a classical/traditional setting.
Can't wait to catch bidoof, hype
Im gonna actually use my bidoof this time.... probably
Noo, you wrote it wrong, its "HYPEEEEEE!"
all bidoof run

I'm gunning for that Electivire
Imagine playing Pokemon Legends Arceus with friends online. That would be awesome. You would be exploring with your friends in this gigantic world. That thought just makes me happy.
I’d like an PkMn legends style multiplayer game… but not this one They need to focus on getting this one right lol
But have it in a private lobby or open lobby manner, max of 4 players maybe.
@@masterofadapting it says on eshop multiplayer online up to 2 players.. im assuming some sort of co op will exist... ?
The idea of a phone in this game kind of irritates me… but I’m still pumped for everything else!
Kinda ruins the setting for me, to be honest
I'm still just coming back into the Pokéverse since leaving after Gen 3. Sword and Shield are a step In a new direction that I mostly like (minor things get the wtf? From me, but 95% or so of it I love), and I'm hoping at least as far as animation and controls go, this Legends shows us they've learned from SwSh. I'll probably pre-order this one...
They’ve already taken a lot of inspiration from botw, they might as well have taken some more and just called this the “arc slate” or something to at least try to be consistent with the setting. Calling it a phone is way too specific to our current modern-day society. Smart devices are only called phones because they evolved from basic cell phones which evolved from actual telephones. That line of technological evolution doesn’t make sense here, even if telephones already exist in hisui.
It would’ve been cooler if it was some sort of ancient magical scroll sent to you from Arceus lol
Curious to see what the special "Female Pokémon" is. Placing a guess that it's Vespiqueen. The others seem to be tied to Pokémon with a mechanic such as ride Pokémon, Kleavor probably has "Cut" potential. And all are said to be helping the ancient people in a way, transport, tool creation etc. I could see a mechanic with Vespiqueen (Combee) and honey like an incense mechanic, or the spreading honey on trees in previous games. Plus honey is pretty historically and culturally critical for many ancient societies.
Could be froslass to, but thats less likely
@@sorenmathieson11 could possibly be Chansey/blissey maybe??
Could be a gardevoir too or a blissey or chansey as well
Considering there's crafting, maybe you use Honey to improve recipes or to unlock cooking altogether.
Before One of the Sword/Shield DLCs- there was a leak or rumors about a new Jynx cry. Maybe this is where it came from. I’m gonna call a new Jynx evolution.
That second warden looks like an ancestor to the ground gym leader from Unova. So it looks like ancestors from across the games not just Sinnoh EDIT: His name was Clay. Had a very similar hat.
Birdkeeper Toby already has a video speculating who they are all ancestors of.
I was thinking the same thing but instead of clay I thought Milo
Same with Mai, she looks like Marley And Arezu looks like Mars
@@trevor2879 It's definitely an ancestor for Clay because not only does he have the same hat and hair style as Clay, but his artwork pose is near identical to Clay's in game pose and there's a shot in the trailer where you can see he has a pickaxe on the back of his belt, which implies he digs/Mines and Clay was a mine owner.
@@theshadowdraguin7177 yeah I realized it when I saw the jewel in the hat but my first thought was milo cause the hair color
Love the Breath of the Wild theme playing when you’re getting excited about the map! Every time we learn something new about this game, I get more excited. Breath of the Wild + Pokémon sounds like an amazing combo to me!
I just hope they don't got all Breath of the Wild with their coloring. BotW is... a bit to saturated/bright for me to even look at gameplay for more than a few minutes without getting a headache. Sword and Shield color/animation, however, are relaxing af for me.
All the Lord's have a pokemon that can interact with the wild wrydeer being a ride, BascuLegion is surf, scyther's evolution is probably cut, so that leads me to believe that "lady like Pokemon" can interact with the wild as well maybe it is the pokemon that can climb mountains that we saw the outline of in the leak. That would make sense since the the outline of the Lord's bracelet has long hair and so does the climbing Pokemon
I thought Kleavor was the climber with his axe arms, but his silhouette isn't the same as tbe rumored Pokemon
maybee it's a female only evolution of nusleaf
I'm so happy that you can customize hairstyle. I thought we were going to be rocking Dawn and Lucas the whole time
Why are the hairstyles always realistic when it could look anime like Ash,Gary or Goku. Monster Hunter Stories 2 had way more diverse options.
Oshawott evolves at lvl. 17, the one in the video is just 16. Same with Cyndaquil, it evolves at lvl.14, the one in the video is just at 12. It still does not prove any regional variant evolutions but I would love for them to have regional variant evolutions.
I think although they might not prove anything, they may hint at it. Not sure but why would they have two Pokémon shown one level before they evolve and not just show a dewott or a quilava.
I believe It is pronounced cloathy-yer
I feel like that makes it even more suspicious, both are just before evolving, idk seems weird
People keep forgetting the empoleon in the trailer edit: hol up I’m literally forgetting the starters aren’t the traditional sinnoh starters lol
Samurott already looking like a samurai, so they might go that route
16:33 Since we can see the mission marker behind the text box (which is in an area called the Grandtree Arena, so we know it's the mission marker), wouldn't it make more sense to have those yellow icons represent Alpha Pokemon then?
"wouldn't it make more sense to have those yellow icons represent Alpha Pokemon"...exactly my thought.
I think, at least some of them, are just stickers that you can put to mark locations.
I really want a poster or a print of the regional map. That art is stunning
Can I just say I am SO glad that there aren't PCs of any sort in this game? I always hated that feature in the mainline games, it felt like I was kidnapping Pokemon just to shove them in a box and forget about them. The pastures are such a nice addition!!!
Mhm it was so weird digitalising animals… except for porygon lol
The new scyther evolution looks so sick. Also I like the Pokémon lo-fi in the background, really sets the vibe.
Poké and Chill by Mikel on Spotify / KZhead
also it might be the ancestor of genesect
i hadnt looked at the website till just before watching this, but after watching the other video. I totally thought it was just a regional variation of Scyther, and didnt realize it was an evo XD. its name was too similar and design looked so much like scyther to me.
I wanted scissor…🥲oh well
@@zEr-ne5ri Crackhead it's genesect
When you look at Kleaver in what you call it’s “fury form” or frenzy,I noticed that in one of the pictures it has effects around it what looks like arceus’s pendant or symbol
My thought about Heracross is that maybe they’re hinting that the honey trees are still included in these games? Since Heracross is a Pokémon that can only be found in the honey trees. That would be really exciting to me, I’d love to see how that would work in this world
Bugging me whenever he calls Wyrdeer, “Wurrdurr”
He just doesn't like calling a pokemon "weird". It triggers him
The thing with the "new map" is actually that if you look at the top right it shows that the more detailed version is just the same map, but zoomed in

9:32 so these Alphas are not some crazy story focused pokemkn, but are just special wild encounters you can find. The fact that it lets you choose to defeat it for loot OR catch it suggests to me that it's not a one chance thing. You could defeat one for items, and then catch another of the same one later.
And with multiple encounters maybe we could shiny hunt them without it being super tedious if it is possible
I hope we have Hisuian Arcanine get introduced via Frenzied Noble Battles. Also I love that some of the wardens introduced today look similar to Marley, Milo and Mars, keeping the tie ins to Gen 8 and Gen 4
I'm pretty sure Lian is supposed to look similar to Clay from BW, if you look at the design on his hat its almost the same
Iscan isn't fond of ghost type Pokemon yet he looks after a ghost type Pokemon.
Get over your fears by being in them I guess XP
In his defence he probably found it as a Basculin, when it wasn't a ghost type. Either that or his village has a sick sense of humor.
And basculegion also has such a dark description.. and it's also massive Would be funny to see him get spooked by his own basculegion in the games
Three videos from you on this trailer where others would probably give 2 at best. You put so much work into these videos. Your theories sound so educated as well. You really are my favorite Pokémon KZheadr. I think like others have suggested, when you were toggling between maps, the new one you were excited about is a zoomed-in version of the one we already saw previously. The Zoom bar in the top right corner suggests something along those lines. Lastly, unless I'm confusing your second and third videos, the origin mark is meant to represent Arceus. It's the ...whatever that is... around It's back and belly.
The greenish-yellow icons on the “new” map are probably icons you can place yourself. Like BoTW, you can mark your own points of interest.
"He would do well on tinder" Austin 2021 September 28 Love the videos, there always informative and fun to watch.
I think the "old" map might just be the zoomed out version of the map, then you can zoom in and see the new map. Notice the zoom option on the second map is zoomed in while the old map is zoomed out
I think that's exactly what it is. The border on both is the same but in the top right there's a zoom icon and you can see the new map is at a closer zoom level.
Regional starter evolutions would be amazing. I feel like when they point out that the professor brought them from other regions means it wont be happening though. Regional variants usually have something to do with adapting to the region but these pokemon being caught and brought kinda goes against that.
Hey Austin! Love your videos and all the information you provide! Side note, I also love tattoos and I was wondering if you ever thought about doing a "tattoo tour"? I'd love to see what you have!
There’s minimal voice acting (.i.e grunts) in the parts where the trainer is battling Kleavor, Electivire and catching Octillery
well thats more than what weve had in the main series :/
The main character in pokemon will never talk, a silent protagonist just like link from zelda. But this is the first time any character has made any sounds, and if the main character who never speaks is like this, then there is a possibility that there is voice acting
I noticed that too for Akari(?), female trainer. :0 imagine if there were
I think the zoom will change which map your on because the undetailed one is all the way zoomed out and the detailed one is medium zoomed potentially having a third map when more zoomed in?
Your excitement for the little things is amazing and it’s getting me even more hyped for this game!
I love how excited Austin always is, makes me happy
Not trying to discount regional evolution, but Oshawott doesn’t evolve until level 17
I think that’s what Austin is getting at? Like maybe the evolutions look different in these games
@@tyleemortilla566 I understood it as he believes starters usually evolve at 16, but because Oshawott hasn't, that means it has a different evolution. But I could be wrong
almost type the same comment but saw your comment lol.
@@argentinasoccerman based on him commenting about the lvl 13 Cyndaquil (1 lvl before quilava) as well, my guess is that he was saying they only showed them for the level right before they evolve to avoid showing the evolutions
The starters probably won't have variants, since they IIRC have come from elsewhere, likely their original regions.
Now on the starter evolutions I would like to say when the person is checking their box all the Pokémon are level 25 or higher and all the starters seem to be missing in that clip
They've definitely avoided showing the evolutions so far. More and more I'm believing there will be new evolutions or forms
I feel like if there was something to show, they WOULD have shown it already. Then again, I turn out to be wrong almost every time I'm skeptical about anything Pokemon related in the past, so who knows. If the regional forms are good, they yeah I wouldn't mind if they do. I just don't expect it to happen.
Balms sound like a take on Emerald's special soils from the adventures manga. If a pokemon is agitated, he uses soil taken from that pokemon's birthplace in order to calm it down, which he had to use multiple times in his chapter, so it'll be cool to explore a concept I thought would never make it into the games.
God I'm so hype for this game. Been wanting an open world Pokemon game for the past 20+ years - what a time to be alive.
Make sure you don’t die before release. God bless you. Lol

Oshawott evolves at level 17, just an FYI!
I don’t see why they would be different, seeing as they’re imported from other regions?
@@AS-ri1mb Animals evolve differently if they survive in a different environment. While in real life that can take a looong ass time, in pokemon it's different, considering some varients in this past seem to just go extinct.
@@AS-ri1mb who said they were imported? if we believe hisui to be the oldest region, then they may have been taken from here to the regions we already know of, thus allowing for different evolution lines
It’s in the first trailer that the guy who’s brings you the Pokémon isn’t from around hisui
@@paulcoulter297 The first trailer says the starters were imported by the professor and aren't in Hisui
My thought is that you start in the “older map” from the previous trailer that is less in depth and when you select a specific area (highlighted in light green) then you can zoom in and get the very in-depth map from this new trailer
17:22 what a smooth transition between the lofi music and the botw soundtrack 👌
13:01 My thoughts after seeing a few more trailers is that someone from Modern Sinnoh sent the Phone(s) back in time to Ancient Hisui as part of an investigation. there are a couple of Time traveling Pokemon, granted most are Legendary and Mythical levels.

I've been replaying Breath of the Wild and the yellow icons look like the icons the player can place on their map which is really exciting cause I use that feature so much and whenever I've played a Pokemon game in the past 4 years I've wished there was something similar. Also that arc phone is looking real modern lmao
best analysis from all we see from youtube!!
Oooh it looks like Clay (the gen 5 gym leader) is a descendant of Lian, as his hat and hair look very similar. Very interesting
And Marlen, the water gym leader in bw2, seems to be a descendant of Iscan, dark skin, blue hear, and they both live by the sea
Gen 5 remakes lol
Yeah the hat is identical
@@ac9410 They have the exact same hair colour, but not much else in common. Still, that would be cool.
An Arc Phone? A touch screen phone? That doesn't make sense for the time period we are seeing. RBGY had no phone but looked as advanced in the cities as the villages in Huisui. GSC had Pokegear, even those weren't as advanced as the Arc Phone. I'm also surprised that Electivire is in the game, I always thought the Electirizer was a modern device.
Agree about the phone, but I'm letting it slide as we need something to acess the funcionalities. Maybe Arceus asked Dialga to bring it from the future? Now about Electvire, maybe the Elctirizer just speed it's evolution, and old Electabuzzes could evolve by being hit by lightning?
In regards to the map if you look at the top left you’ll notice you can zoom in for the detailed map and zoom out for the full map. Also in the grandtree area that looks like a place where you can mine
17:33 i think theyll just transition between the maps, notice how the more pokemon-like map is fully zoomed out while the other one is halfway zoomed in
I cant help but think of Sun and Moons mechanics with Arceus. Wardens remind me of trials and trial captians, and the new hm system is similar to sun and moons summoning of pokemon among various other similarities.
I can’t wait for legends arceus and thanks for this info I forgot to watch the real one thanks for making this vid 😀
15:43 in the map yo van see the zoom is in the middle of the bar, and in the previous trailer you can see its in the left side of the bar, so maybe the first map is to see the overworld and as you zoom in it helps you see better each individual zone
It’s a topographic map it’s so beautiful. That camp Icon with the music note was in an earlier trailer
Everything looks so promising! My only concern since I’m visually impaired is that once again the Pokémon game will not have any accessibility options I really hope the Pokémon company adds some features to enhance the game for everybody. Appreciate the information drops as always!
17:00 While looking at the maps I noticed the top left has a magnification slider ZL/ZR I’m hoping both maps are still in game Detailed as it is zoomed in and artistic as zoomed out 🤞🤞
Probably the case. Kinda similar to Skyward Sword
17:11 looks like one is zoomed in more. You can see the zoom icon in the top right indicating that. I would think that means both maps will be used.
16:49 it's the symbol for Alpha pokemons you can see the same symbol next to their name in battles.

i’m in love with the botw-like contour lines on the map
Thanks for this. It’s very convenient to just listen to your nice voice and get these updates
Your map analysis is a bit janky. I think the "Old Style" map is probably just the high level map, then you click on the sub region and get the detailed map. Also the green monster faces are most likely alpha Pokemon and the arena area is where the noble frenzied Pokemon is (Kleavor in this case). At least this is what I'm thinking.
It literally doesn't even make sense that the starters will get regional evolutions. They were brought over to the Hisui region by the professor, so they wouldn't have been there long enough to adapt to the region. I don't get why so many people think it's gonna happen.
That’s more reasoning FOR it to happen because they’re from elsewhere. Pokémon logic doesn’t follow normal evolutionary logic. A stone makes Pokémon evolve for gods sake. Plus they’ve specifically only shown the first stages of the starters at level before they evolve, even when other Pokémon they’re fighting against or with are higher levels. It wouldn’t be out of the question.
@@wolfiemuse But every regional evolution we've seen in the past are from Pokémon that are naturally found in the wild, and they've adapted to the environment. I just don't see how the starters can have regional evolutions when they were brought over from outside the region and haven't adapted to the environment because they aren't found in the wild.
@@ShayTheValiant you can literally catch a random cubone in a game before USUM and then trade it to USUM and instantly have it become alolan marowak despite only spending mere minutes in alola. Same with exeggcute, that argument doesn't work due to this, let alone the fact that this is pokemon lore, where you can grab the most random Pikachu from like, Kanto and throw it into alola and it suddenly knows how to surf and read minds when it evolves rather than just grow up normally. I don't believe new forms for the starters is gonna happen, but saying they outright will not or can't is just plain dumb.
2:31 "5'11, uh he would do well on Tinder." This line had me rolling up the stairs to our lord Arceus of laughter xD I am so hyped for this game, can't wait!

ok i'am so confused about the technology in this timeline that the game takes place in after seeing that phone. i thought this game would take place somewhere around the time where steam power was mainly used. but then after seeing that phone, i was very confused because that thing looks like its powered with electricity and the fact that it looks like an cell phone. so...does this timeline have electricity then? like when electricity was very new?
Probably charged with electric type Pokemon (looking at you, Electrivire).
Wyrdurr looks like its the bottom noble icon on the new map since we found kleavor in a forest being the top one. We do fight both of these in the first area
My thoughts on the 2 maps is that the first less detailed one is a zoomed out world map, and the 2nd newer one is a detailed area map when you zoom in. If you look at the top right it makes sense with the zoom meter
"Yes boss, I will finish that spreadsheet asap" - me to my boss as I watch this video 1min after it was posted. hehe
Since a warden is in charge of the Kleavor, it led me to believe that Kleavor can be a ride pokémon. It will be your ride pokemon to navigate mountains and high altitude places.
U do not need him when u fly past the mountain
I’m pretty confident that each little section on the map when zoomed in is going to be its own wild area kinda thing, which makes me more excited because if that’s the case then this game will be colossal
@Austinjohnplays don’t know if you noticed but there is a zoom function on both maps and the two different maps appear to be different zoom density’s of the same map… and it would appear you can zoom in further…
at 5:00 , the balm meter has arceus's stomach horn things on either side of it. a small detail, a nice touch also at 8:08 , i noticed that all of the wardens have a symbol on their chest but Arezu (Areizu? gotta look at it again) has cleverly hidden hers behind a chest satchel. very sneaky

I usually start with "hi!"

Very excited for this game and the character customization! Can’t wait to make my character look like myself
Bro I love your videos, you crack me up when you’re trying to remember a Pokémon name. Thanks for sharing!
Clothier -- "KLO-thee-er" "A person or company that makes, sells, or deals in clothes or cloth." It's a very common word, especially in rpg and fantasy games. What kills me is, he's sitting at a computer and doesn't even bother to look up the word."
That, and he keeps saying "gun ho". I don't usually like to be that guy, but when you say something wrong repeatedly, it starts to get a little grating. GUNG-ho.
‘It kills me how he’s sitting at a computer and doesn’t look up the word’ as Austin literally has the dictionary definition brought up on his screen lol

It made me laugh so hard when austin called Furfrou fu-fo-ro
i think both maps are still in the game, you can see on the top left that you can zoom in and and out on the map. so when you are fully zoomed out, you see the whole region. and when you zoom in, you can see more detailed areas on the map
To add on to the conversation about the map icons, I think the angry face is to mark an Alpha pokemon because the Kleavor quest has the quest symbol in the Grandtree Arena area.
Arezu with the "certain lady pokemon", first thing that came into my head was another evolution of Vespiquen. Cant wait to find out!
Love the indepth look at the game. Your Passion & Enthusiasm is Awesome!! I wonder if Heracross might have an evolution in game too 😎
what I love is that with each new trailer they drop for Legends Arceus and BDSP you can see the developments that they have made
I don't know if someone said this, but if you compare both screenshots of the maps at 14:38 you'll notice that it is the same map but with different zoom levels (look close the upper right corner). This hints that there could be another map with higher zoom.
Hey man, could you tell me what music you use in your videos, like is there a playlist or something? Cuz that stuff is absolutely jammin'
@austinjohnplays it looks like the more detailed map is just a zoomed in version of the more Japanese style. It looks like you can zoom in 3 times potentially.
Probably the Pokemons trained by the Wardens will be Pokemon that we can use later as as HMs (basculegion for surf, kleavor for cut, wyrdeer the mount, braveiry for fly, etc), so after defeating them/delivering the quest or whatever some new areas will open or be accessible
