  • The Bk o Mrmn illustrates this w/ the great & spacious bldg as Eve was ashamed not to obey the one commandment she was given! Lucifer’s ideas appealed more to her vs to be patient (James 1.4) to stay w/ what the Father directs not the rebellious one (Isa 14.14; dc 76.31)!

  • What is "contemporary history" supposed to mean? What a strange way to phrase something.

    • Yes, that was an interesting choice of phrase. I think what he means by “the popular side of contemporary history” is basically “the latest popular trends in our society.” Or something like that 😅

    • In recent years,” Elder Hafen stated in conference, "The adversary is engaged in one of history’s greatest cover-ups, trying to persuade people that this Church knows least-when in fact it knows most-about how our relationship with Christ makes true Christians of us." (The Atonement: All for All, Apr. 2004)
