  • I always wondered how people live up there and how does it looks like... Well, it looks you don't live there-you fight to survive! As man from sea, I will just die there after few hours. Also, I get nervous because it looks so still. All that snow. Incredible views! Great company! Great trip! Amazing!

    • Haha thanks! Though with some practice and preparation you'd likely do just fine :) In addition to looking still it's also unbelieveably silent when there's no wind, an experience in itself!

  • As someone who uses those kites on water, this is amazing to see. I would love to try this. I've been alpine snowboarding my whole life so i think I could do this :)

  • It's an absolutely amazing adventure! A beautiful and super remote region, and great snowkiting terrain (when there is wind). And, the video shots and the whole movie are awesome. I am really jealous! Are there guides or companies who organise something at least similar?

    • Thanks Sebastian! Mika ( Mika.bjorkman@gmail.com ) is a professional guide, you can contact him if you're in need of some arctic snowkite action in the wilderness :)

  • Looks like a suuuper fun trip! Great job and thanks for making video out of it. I am looking for lavvu stove, could you link the model you are using? It looks very lightweight and simple, but still has a stable pipe system?

    @oliverjakobsen9712@oliverjakobsen97125 ай бұрын
    • Thanks Oliver! The stove is Winnerwell Fastfold PLUS Nested Pipe, size M, 2.5 kg. I don't have much to compare to, but seemed stable enough!

    • @@seikkailuhattuThanks!! This seems to be perfect fit. For the inner lavvu floor, does the plate you have under the stove prevent it from sinking into the snow?

  • I was wondering, is it possible to do that kind of stuff on skies instead of snowboard ? Or is it too difficult for the knees / ankles ? Awesome video anyway !

    • Thanks! It is possible (and also easier) on skis!

  • how much wind did you need for the tube kites? And is the 14 better for lowwind, because it is really heavy?

    • Thanks! We had quite extensive quivers with us in the sleds, I had 7, 10 & 14 inflatables and iirc Mika had 4, 6, 9 and 12 single skins for example.

  • Why did you use a tent and not the houses?

    @Jochumvideos@Jochumvideos7 ай бұрын
    • Good practice, extra challenge makes it feel more rewarding and we preferred to be by ourselves rather than with random people. At least that's my take on it! :)

  • Нащо ви будували захист для тента, коли можна було поставити намет за будівлею? Чому не жили в будівлі?

    @supervisor1178@supervisor11785 ай бұрын
    • Вітер був настільки сильним і змінював напрямок, що будівля не могла забезпечити достатнього прикриття. Ми хотіли спати в наметі, оскільки додатковий виклик робить це більш корисним, і ми хотіли побути наодинці, у будівлі були інші люди. Але хатина в дикій природі була гарною для безпеки, якби наш намет зламався на вітрі, ми могли б просто переїхати до будівлі. Вибачте за можливі помилки в перекладі!
