This would’ve been a great pack to add spiral/split/curved stairs to the game as a lot of luxury items were added. How many mansions have you seen with straight staircases in the grand foyer?
Challenge idea: make the most obnoxiously luxurious mansion possible. Mainly using the Get Famous stuff but you can also use vampires, romantic garden, any other mansion-like pack that inspires you. You could start from scratch if you wanted to or renovate a previous mansion build.
I have a build idea ! An “apartment block “( over 6 floors ) through out the decades eg. Twenties , fifty’s the eights etc!!
those giant moster/animals would be good for a daycare center, just outside, like mascots
SEMAJ. Can you PLEASE do another mountain build??? now that we have terrain tools AND seasons.. it would be amazing...
I could totally see incorporating a lot of the movie set items into a house by using them as unique decoration for a teen or child's bedroom, especially for a kid with a wealthy family. Plus using the shrink tool for the bigger pieces would be helpful too.

Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited for this pack (I already preordered it), both for the gameplay and the build mode items. but going through this overview, you can see clearly that the dev team or whoever has final say on the pack content don't consider what players actually want. I'm not talking about complicated things like cars or preteens, or even simpler things like spiral stairs. Stuff like that triangular table with the item permanently attached to it, or that nice door with the really opulent handle for no reason, or the fact that there's two new bathroom sets but no kitchen sets. do they know how hard it is to build a modern house when there are only two interior doors that are even remotely modern looking (and one of them is see through)? I don't mean to sound meanspirited towards the devs but they don't seem to understand the difference between how they test the game and how players actually play and what they need. Plus they make simple errors and don't correct them until players point them out. Remember when they forgot the island counter in jungle adventure? and they still haven't updated the color swatches on the doors and windows from seasons! most of the doors and windows are missing several color swatches so they don't match one another. its just annoying to love this game so much and have no other game like it, but the people who make it don't seem to pay attention to what they're doing. its especially annoying when the game costs THIS much money. I'm glad the devs talk with sims players on youtube and are very available to answer questions on twitter, but I feel like whenever I tweet at them its always a complaint, and I don't want it to be. I think that stupid triangular table is this biggest offense this time around, just because james was the one who brought the same problem to their attention when they released that set of plants in jungle adventure that were stuck together and they ended up separating them. seems like they still haven't learned their lesson :/

At first I thought I didn’t want to get the pack, just because I usually only play the game to build and not actual gameplay but after seeing this...wow there are so many creative things to use these items for, it looks awesome!

lol I have to say the number one thing I am going to do with this expansion pack is not the acting career... but to use all those objects to make evil scientists, or crashed space ships for my alien sims, or a secret lair for my evil sims... like legit just going to make my sims way more interesting. This is great because I was getting sooooo booorrreeed with just making normal sims leading normal lives.... like... who the heck really wants to just live out realistic lives? YA BORING. give me murder and mayhem and scifi and fantasy please...
OK, definitely going to make Stately Wayne Manor and the Batcave in the basement!
