Look at arsenal they had enough to win that league it was just poor management towards the end off the season. Now it's up for the manager to improve on his mistakes aswell not just the players. He flourished and has us top 4 the season prior, and when he told the TRUTH about Levy we were also in 4th. Martin O'Neill wishes he could have HALF the CV Conte does, which is why he's in the studio and when the dust settles Conte will be back on the touchline.

When Conte came in led us to top four finish, entire fanbase was excited to see what Conte could do in a full season. In the beginning we were doing fine. But as season progressed, the team was stuck with a tragedy among our coaching staff, injuries piled on, and overall performance of the team kept getting worse. Conte never did commit to the team. Never signed an extension(looking back thank goodness he didn’t). In the press conference, he always talked about he’s prepared to die for the club. But when Southampton game where we were up 3-1 and allowed two goals and the game finished 3-3. We saw Conte turned on the football club and trashed team, the club, everyone involved with Tottenham. “Don’t involve me with these losers.” That was the mentality from so-called world class manager. I never publicly wanted Poch, Mourinho, or even Nuno out the door. But I had enough of Conte. He’s not welcomed back anymore.

  • I agree with Martin O'Neil. Conte came in to the club thinking he could just do what he has always done and it will work out. He never actually coached the players to improve them. His training sessions were always the same which bored the players and they felt as if they werebt getting better. Also conte was tactically stubborn. He refused to change formation and style of play when it clearly wasn't working. But was the first to come put and blame the board and the players for the team not doing too well. One of the things i never understood about Conte's time at Spurs was in the UCL second Leg Against Milan. The side were 1-0 on aggregate and had about 20 mins to get a goal and keep their hopes alive. So what does Conte do. He takes off our attacking players to bring on Davinson Sanchez. Spurs end up losing that game and Conte comes out in the press afterwards talking about how disappointed he was in the team for losing.

All of the great players were replaced with average players and the good players replaced by garbage. The players that have stayed and deteriorated have done so under 4 different managers (in Dele Alli's case, 6 managers including Everton and in Turkey who's fault is that? Conte?) In the game you mentioned, Sanchez came on because we had a corner (he does get the odd important goal from corners, but then you wouldn't know that coz you can't be a Spurs fan. Yes he’s not the only culprit and I agree that Conte should have realised what he was getting himself into before taking the Spurs job, but if Levy doesn’t change the way he runs the club, the toxic environment that exists within the Tottenham and expect world class managers to just improve the team like they have some kind of magic wand, then he is truly insane!

You do not want to separate Levy screwed to the side, and look at the manager to see how he fair with the task he was handsomely paid to do. That was his job, to change the direction of the club or at least make an attempt to do so. When he left no one misses him for a minute. Even the worse managers players come out and said, we let the managers down. Not this case with Conte. Lazy is a very generous word to describe his putrid behavior.
