    • @SEVENTEEN I guess you think Donald Cerrone is a gatekeeper too. And then theres Edson Barboza, is he a gatekeeper? (Ill give you Vick as he got the fight with his mouth) No, the guy is a legitimate world champion and hes called "The Highlight" for a reason. Long before he lost a fight he said he would get knocked out one day due to his fighting style. In todays MMA all fighters lose a fight sometime but its how they come back that matters. And he came back strong!

  • Been watching this kid since his Sam Young fight and have watched hundreds of hours of film and "highlights" from this guy, he's special- Seen all his "professional" fights and slow mode/analyzed them, and man.... I haven't seen a guy like this in a while, he's going to shake up the 155; he said it him self he's gonna lose and he's gonna get KO'ed but he's gonna go at whom ever is across from him at 110% maxed *2 till someone drops, himself or his opponent. Love it, I'm calling this now, give him 4-7 fights in the UFC and Gaethje will probably be fighting for a belt.

    • It's his style. He takes a lot of punishment, way more than other fighters. He takes hits to give hits. Besides, he doesn't really slur.

      @stormrevenant@stormrevenant6 жыл бұрын
    • Aniruddha Sharma that style is going to get him knocked out. I want to see him fight Barbosa next. Diaz would be a good fight also. I just see McGregor knocking him out, Tony catching a d'arce or beating him up on the feet, and Khabib showing him why he's the best grappler. I'm really liking Gaethjw though.

  • I hope he faces Khabib the last. If not he's going to destroy his legacy even before he starts. This guy is definitely one for the future. After MJ, give him maybe Kevin so he can derail the kevin hype train, then Tony which probably will be a close contest.. Pushing raw talent can break him as the top 3 are murders in any division. Well except for the midget division.

  • We've seen the brawlers come and go, look at Diego Sanchez. Hell of a brawler, good wrestler, but no good against the cool, calm, technical fighters. He's only dangerous to c-level fighters. Mcgregor would knock him out in one, Ferguson would eat him alive, Nurmy would dominate him, unless he learns the high level stuff. He's terrifying, but he's not elite. Just sayin'.

    • Well, Aniruddha, he's an interesting fighter, and his leg kicks are effective, but he reminds me of the Diego Sanchez who fought Nick Diaz. Maybe a little smarter? Like to see how he does against the top 3, or the champion.
