He got MVP that year in '93 because without him, Phoenix would have been almost dead last in the West. His defense from rebounds and blocking always put them into better positions to win.

There is no bigger award than winning representing your country in the olympics, and not only that, he was the best player on that team. A lot of people have won NBA titles, but to be the best player and to win gold with the original "Dream Team" is something that only Charles has. And a lot of players have been selected to represent the US at national championships, basketball teams etc, but to have played and won with the DREAM TEAM, the biggest team ever asambled is something thats bigger than everything.

  • I have Charles Barkley. He is always honest and being himself. I laugh all the time when I went NBA on TNT.

  • If you thought this clip was good, do yourself a favor and watch old clips of him playing with the Sixers, Suns, and Rockets. This man could PLAY!! Unbelievable talent. What he adds to Inside the NBA can’t be replicated by others. Charles has the “IT FACTOR”.
