  • Dimash is not promoted by the world's largest music labels in show business, so people like you, Joel, do work for these music labels, there is a saying: a drop of stone will destroy, so you, Joel, drop by drop destroy the wall behind which Dimash is located and behind which many in the world do not see him and do not they hear, but thanks to such noble people as you, the world will recognize Dimash, the great singer of all times and peoples on our planet, and maybe in the whole universe. By the way, Dimash is now in his native Aktobe, which suffered from severe flooding, helping people affected by the flood.

    • You do realize that Dimash is working next to a man that's pretty much a billionaire musician and producer? Dimash is totally fine and very well known. Much more than you think. The thing is that his music js not for everyone and so a lot of will not hear from him because he's not in their lime of music flavor

    • because you need so many things going for you to be at dimash's level. his vocal cords are longer, his brain vocal coordination is extraordinary, his physical control of his vocal cords is insane. on top of that, he had parent's who are professional singers. Then you add his musical studies and his work ethic, you get the world's best.

  • # Great job introducing Steve to the ground-breaking artist that is Dimash! For a taste of breadth of his spectrum, suggest you might encourage him now to next view; "When I've Got You", and his Sochi New Wave premier of 'Fly Away'- to start with! Dimash has developed his own production company and has set up studios and support teams in various places, as well as his home country, touring internationally and going from strength to strength. I gather he did have meetings in the US about the way forward to break more comprehensively into the US and the broader 'Western' market. Not sure where these ended up... Think he's still going his own way, as his preference is to skip across and dip in and out of EVERY genre, including in the one song! Whether that has meant the 'genre-locked' industry 'lanes' simply don't know what to do with him, {or Ren either, who, as Steve points out, 'live' in the spaces they push OUT of the envelope. BUT > ## Having now looked up 'who Steve is'! - his huge background in the industry is impressive, but even more so, looks like he is a very skilled 'Connector'. Someone who might be able to give these Fiercely Independant Prodigy's some guidance about how they can build on their current successes, effectively, whilst not compromising their artistic integrity/ independence? Is this what you had in mind with these introductions? Would be fantastic, IF that is all parties had an interest in such collaboration and something 'grows' from here? 😃🥰👍

  • Dimash Kudaibergen a.k.a “DiMash” was born on 24th May 1994 in Aktobe which is located in the west part of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Dimash's first appearance on stage as a performer was at the age of two in a minor role in a local theater production. He began acting at a young age. At home, he became interested in musical instruments; and his parents and his music teacher noticed that he had absolute pitch. Dimash is well-recognized for his wide vocal range, spanning seven octaves and seven semitones, from Si0 to Re8 . According to various sources, he has been heard live (Stranger) hitting a C2 and D8 (Unforgettable Day). His whistle register can hit notes in the eight octaves. Dimash sings in multiple musical genres. At the age of five, he began taking piano and singing lessons at the children's studio of the Zhubanov Music College, where he would later attend university accompanied by his grandmother Miua. He has expressed gratitude to his early teachers and to his grandmother, who took him to his lessons every day despite the pain in his legs. Dimash first sang on stage the same year, at the age of five. He later attended Gymnasium No. 32 in Aktobe. Dimash completed a Broadway Musical master class in 2009. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and English, and is studying Mandarin. He has performed songs in 16 languages: Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Serbian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Kyrgyz, Japanese, Armenian, Arabic and Cantonese.

He speaks 3 languages and plays 5 different instruments. He was a child prodigy that proclaimed to his parents (which are also singers) he was going to be a singer at the age of 4. He has been training since the age of 5. He has his Associates, Masters, Bachelors, and now his Doctorin in contemporary and Opera music. He is a MASTER in his craft. He has a very loyal following of his fans around the world! He calls his fans his "Dears". I feel so honored to live in the same time as Dimash. All of his performances are astounding!! Please go to his KZhead channel Dimash Qudaibergen and watch everything he has done! He also has Pop music videos in English on his Channel. It's his world...we just live in it!❤

    • That is a hard choice. If you just choose whatever good acts there is out there, nearly different all the time, then the essence of the channel will thin out. I mean, it could be Tom Jones or whatever the next time, and the devoted followers of this channel will drop off. Not that there is anything wrong with Tom Jones, he is good. But, I think you get my point. Also, then Joel needs to have something interesting to say about maybe a hundred artists. And he does not. He could concentrate on the ones he was roadie for. But, that would be oldies and Joel is interested in current artists. So, I (a tiny bit) agree with you, but it is not that easy.
