I find it disheartening that the parents of these children are allowing their children to bang on the glass, antagonizing the lions. I don’t find this comical, in the least. No animal should be caged up and used for profit.

These types of predator are opportunists. Even with a gut full of food, they'll still look to take out the vulnerable. They're killing machines, plain and simple. There is nothing 'majestic' about them, whatever that means.

Not at all worried about the glass giving. It's strong. Probably reinforced. What makes me mad are the people who let their kids smack on the glass, scream, and treat these animals like overgrown house pets. If that glass weren't there, at least three of the lions in this video would have killed those toddlers, and the kids need to learn that. Zoo animals aren't toys.

I saw a kid throwing gravel at the glass and scaring a lion cub when I visited a zoo last week. I just wished that the male lion would had scared him making him run away crying. His mom tried to ignore it but when she noticed that I was giving her a "dead eye" she told get son to stop.

These are glorious animals... Wonderful creations... We must teach our children to respect them not mock them .. they are not toys to play with... I got wildlife near our home.... leopard Himalayan black bear , brown bear mountain goats... and I have respect and regard for these... I know them from jungle so love them for what they are unlike people visiting zoo.. knowing them from wild make us worship admire and respect their beauty... Felt sorry for these animals...

아이가 다른 곳을 쳐다보는 순간 납작히 기다리고 있던 사자가 맹렬히 달려오는 모습에서 맹수의 야생성이 느껴진다. 특히 아이가 작으니까 완전히 먹잇감으로 보는건데, 역시 자연에서는 신체 크기가 정말로 중요하다는 것을 다시한번 느끼게 된다.

동물다큐만 30년봤는데....등보이면 다가서는건 본능이고,,,,저게 어떻게 먹이감으로 보는거냐? 내가 볼 땐 100% 아기라서 신기해서 장난칠라고 하는걸로 보이는데...먹이감으로봤으면 이빨보였지...표범도 배부를땐 아기 원숭이 공격안하고 핣아준다...동물원이면 항상 배는 안고플테고 야생사냥도 1번도 안해본 사자들인데 아기를 공격한다고 생각하는건 무슨? 답답해서 한마디한다

However it is like near miss for those who are able to scare off the lions cause if lion decide to attack you will be out of options and nothing could work in that scenario, my intent is not to disrespect your grand father but only intend to put my point , lions are specifically known for their bravery and they fight till death when it come to the case just see any documentary, they are quick they are strong and moreover they are huge a normal man without any weapon doesn't hold any chance whatsoever.

Never turn your back to a predator. In, a way this is a little sad for the lions. They will always have the predator instinct. He would be fullfilling it if not in captivity. But he doesn't have to worry about the next meal. Looks well cared for. We can at least appreciate their majesty while separated with glass.

It upsets me when I think about the amount of people who forget these are large predators and not house cats. It's the reason toddlers end up in animal enclosures and grown adults get mauled. Respect the zoo barriers, people. More importantly, respect the animals and teach your kids to respect them. I would never allow my child to approach the glass and taunt the animal that way. Again, these ARE NOT pets, and people are making a dangerous mistake to assume they are in any way docile or domestic.

i have a question if they arent to be kept as pets then why should they be held for display at zoos? dont they mean the same? Arent they captive anyways? An owner may also keep a lion in cage through the entire lifespan just like zoos. Like house owners lions do sometimes escape and end up being killed. Same does happen in zoos too. They maul their keepers and get killed eventually at last. Some are shot to death after they attempted to escape. So in either way it is same. Why do you forbid people to keep them as pets but allow them to be kept as zoos?

People laughing in the video should know that the glass is double-triple thick, so if it is strong, it can be damaged if there is a small flaw or crack in the glass, if you run to the fullest extent of the lion and impact it, the glass can be damaged and the lion can learn.

I just don’t understand why they lock these beautiful creatures inside small glass cages. They belong to the nature where they can run, hunt and kill, just exactly what they’re designed to be. I was concerned that the lions were starving. When is the food served? It is very dangerous to feed hunting (predator) animals when they are very hungry. They will blind themselves between the feeder and the food!!

Его держат в неволе, он уже считает это своим домом, и к нему, скажем так, "в дом", пришли двуногие голокожие ублюдки, но ☝с огромными мозгами. И эти гости, которые вместо того, чтобы просто наблюдать, дразнят его. Человек - это высший разум, который, имея большие мозговые полушария, так и не научился рационально и бережно использовать ресурсы и плоды природы. Я про большинство бездарей в мире, исключение только малые проценты понимающих и адекватных... Делайте выводы сами.

제 초딩때 빨간 땡땡이 무늬 원피스 입고 혼자(동물원과 같은 동네) 놀러 갔는데 사자가 내가 움직일 때 마다 따라다님 구경꾼 중 아저씨가 나보고 뛰어보라 함 뛰니 따라서 뛰어옴 급 관리원이 뛰쳐 와 날 혼내킴 저 아저씨가 시켰어요 했더니 아저씨 도망 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 설명 간략해 급 이상하겠지만 아직도 아저씨도 무섭고 사자도 무서움 관리원 아자씨가 그 아저씨 쫓아가서 혼내준다는데 안 쫓아가고 나랑 같이 있으며 달래 줌 뭐가 내 속이 더 후련했을지 아직 혼란 ㅋㅋ 사자의 눈빛 움직임이 당시 강아지 같아 신기 재밌기도 했던 듯 실젠 먹혔겠지

That's why I hate the zoo. Just imagine yourself in there behind the glass while you're hungry and want some meat while bunch of people other side of glass are laughing at you and enjoy seeing you hungry. Imagining yourself as other side works for anything in this world even war between humans. If it was up to me I would free every single animal In most zoo. I can't say all because unfortunately in some countries it's better to have them in these cages rather than open wilds in order to save them from stupid human hunters.some people say I can't like wild animals they kill us I'm gonna say u don't like some strangers come to your house without permission so what do u expect from them. And some of them attacking u because they afraid of u and want to defend either themselves or their territory instead of running away. Still zoo is shit and it's torture mentally to watch at least for me. Wish I could erase this video from my mind.

Not at all worried about the glass giving. It's strong. Probably reinforced. What makes me mad are the people who let their kids smack on the glass, scream, and treat these animals like overgrown house pets. If that glass weren't there, at least three of the lions in this video would have killed those toddlers, and the kids need to learn that. Zoo animals aren't toys.

I saw a kid throwing gravel at the glass and scaring a lion cub when I visited a zoo last week. I just wished that the male lion would had scared him making him run away crying. His mom tried to ignore it but when she noticed that I was giving her a "dead eye" she told get son to stop.

These are glorious animals... Wonderful creations... We must teach our children to respect them not mock them .. they are not toys to play with... I got wildlife near our home.... leopard Himalayan black bear , brown bear mountain goats... and I have respect and regard for these... I know them from jungle so love them for what they are unlike people visiting zoo.. knowing them from wild make us worship admire and respect their beauty... Felt sorry for these animals...

Never turn your back to a predator. In, a way this is a little sad for the lions. They will always have the predator instinct. He would be fullfilling it if not in captivity. But he doesn't have to worry about the next meal. Looks well cared for. We can at least appreciate their majesty while separated with glass.

It upsets me when I think about the amount of people who forget these are large predators and not house cats. It's the reason toddlers end up in animal enclosures and grown adults get mauled. Respect the zoo barriers, people. More importantly, respect the animals and teach your kids to respect them. I would never allow my child to approach the glass and taunt the animal that way. Again, these ARE NOT pets, and people are making a dangerous mistake to assume they are in any way docile or domestic.
i have a question if they arent to be kept as pets then why should they be held for display at zoos? dont they mean the same? Arent they captive anyways? An owner may also keep a lion in cage through the entire lifespan just like zoos. Like house owners lions do sometimes escape and end up being killed. Same does happen in zoos too. They maul their keepers and get killed eventually at last. Some are shot to death after they attempted to escape. So in either way it is same. Why do you forbid people to keep them as pets but allow them to be kept as zoos?

제 초딩때 빨간 땡땡이 무늬 원피스 입고 혼자(동물원과 같은 동네) 놀러 갔는데 사자가 내가 움직일 때 마다 따라다님 구경꾼 중 아저씨가 나보고 뛰어보라 함 뛰니 따라서 뛰어옴 급 관리원이 뛰쳐 와 날 혼내킴 저 아저씨가 시켰어요 했더니 아저씨 도망 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 설명 간략해 급 이상하겠지만 아직도 아저씨도 무섭고 사자도 무서움 관리원 아자씨가 그 아저씨 쫓아가서 혼내준다는데 안 쫓아가고 나랑 같이 있으며 달래 줌 뭐가 내 속이 더 후련했을지 아직 혼란 ㅋㅋ 사자의 눈빛 움직임이 당시 강아지 같아 신기 재밌기도 했던 듯 실젠 먹혔겠지

That's why I hate the zoo. Just imagine yourself in there behind the glass while you're hungry and want some meat while bunch of people other side of glass are laughing at you and enjoy seeing you hungry. Imagining yourself as other side works for anything in this world even war between humans. If it was up to me I would free every single animal In most zoo. I can't say all because unfortunately in some countries it's better to have them in these cages rather than open wilds in order to save them from stupid human hunters.some people say I can't like wild animals they kill us I'm gonna say u don't like some strangers come to your house without permission so what do u expect from them. And some of them attacking u because they afraid of u and want to defend either themselves or their territory instead of running away.
